Great hiking trail that is in Johnson Park.
The first .6 it so miles is a board walk. Your on a nature trail, so you will see various trees, flowers, wild life, and usually several other people ( some with a dog).
It has many options to take longer walks. I am uploading a photo of the map posted at the entrance. The one we do is 1.29 miles there and back. The turn around point for us is the river. It is a pretty spot to see.
Along the board walk, you have benches to rest or sit and enjoy the beauty. The seasons play a huge part of what you will see. Spring is the prettiest to me. But we love to walk it all year.
Being part of the park gives you access to bathrooms as well.
There is a picnic area at the start. Great to bring sandwiches.
If you want a smaller walk, the pond at the entrance is a .6 mile walk. Like the trail, it has benches to sit and rest or enjoy the beauty. It is an asphalt path. Has a long wooden bridge section in the back of the trail.
If you want a pleasant walk, this is one.
