Petersons Armidale Winery & Guesthouse

Day trip, accommodation looks very nice. We were shown through 2 of the rooms and the dining areas. Great little venue to relax and unwind in the gardens with a wine and platter. Had a tasting, purchased some wine and muscat.

Can’t recommend highly enough. Stayed one night and had a wonderful dinner and was delighted by the whole experience. The guesthouse is lovely and grand; it was like staying in an Agatha Christie novel, without the murder! The food was generous, the wine delicious and the cooked breakfast terrific. The staff too were excellent and friendly. Handy to all the attractions in the Armidale area, and worth a visit in its own right.

Had the best dinner and wine experience at the winery in Armidale. Great food, amazing wine, and such a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend!

A lovely venue, a nice room and a first rate quality meal. We had the ideal overnight stay here, dinner was that good I struggled to do the excellent breakfast justice ! |The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. ||The weather let us down so we will need to go back to see the lovely grounds.

We had a lovely meal and sundowner drink in front of the open fireplace. We weee a family of 5 and just loved the experience. Delicious food and friendly service. Beautiful historic home. Highly recommend.

Wine, accommodations, food and staff are brilliant. We got married here and everyone (including me) has raved about Petersons. The staff (particularly Louise) were amazing. I’m so glad we chose Petersons. We will definitely come back for anniversaries to come.

Such an incredible spot! We had our wedding at Peterson’s Guest House and Winery. It was the most perfect day. The staff were absolutely amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing. The rooms are huge and stunning! Louise, thank you for helping us through every step of the planning process. We had such an amazing time and we can’t wait to visit again.

Even though it was a gloomy day with only patches of sunshine, we still really enjoyed our short visit to Paterson Wines! The antipasto platter was delishhh — especially lovely paired with a bottle of their wine. We did a wine tasting and especially loved the grenache rosé, chardonnay, and bubbly moscato. Unlike sweeter rosés, this variety leans crisp and elegant—thanks to the natural dryness of the Grenache grape. The lady who served us was knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all our questions with ease. A great little winery just outside Armidale!
