Petersons Armidale Winery & Guesthouse

Can’t recommend highly enough. Stayed one night and had a wonderful dinner and was delighted by the whole experience. The guesthouse is lovely and grand; it was like staying in an Agatha Christie novel, without the murder! The food was generous, the wine delicious and the cooked breakfast terrific. The staff too were excellent and friendly. Handy to all the attractions in the Armidale area, and worth a visit in its own right.

We had a lovely meal and sundowner drink in front of the open fireplace. We weee a family of 5 and just loved the experience. Delicious food and friendly service. Beautiful historic home. Highly recommend.

A lovely venue, a nice room and a first rate quality meal. We had the ideal overnight stay here, dinner was that good I struggled to do the excellent breakfast justice ! |The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. ||The weather let us down so we will need to go back to see the lovely grounds.

Wine, accommodations, food and staff are brilliant. We got married here and everyone (including me) has raved about Petersons. The staff (particularly Louise) were amazing. I’m so glad we chose Petersons. We will definitely come back for anniversaries to come.

We stop over in Armidale at least once a year on our way to Queensland. Always stay in town but decided to try something different. |So glad we did! We arrived in the afternoon, had a wine tasting and sat under the trees enjoying the beautiful grounds. Found time to relax on the veranda and read a book then had dinner in the restaurant which we selected upon our arrival. |The service and food was very good and it was just us and another couple. |Left at the crack of dawn to a spectacular sunrise. Doesn’t get much better than that! Highly recommended.

The restaurant was excellent. Interesting menu, meals were well presented and beautifully cooked, delicious!

So glad we found Petersons Armidale Winery and Guesthouse. We stayed for 2 nights the rooms and the building is all just beautiful, staff are extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them to make your stay 10/10. We visited the cellar door and really enjoyed the wines and food available. We also visited the restaurant for dinner which was superb and had cooked breakfast both mornings in the Breakfast dining room. I would highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate in staying there again.

Even though it was a gloomy day with only patches of sunshine, we still really enjoyed our short visit to Paterson Wines! The antipasto platter was delishhh — especially lovely paired with a bottle of their wine. We did a wine tasting and especially loved the grenache rosé, chardonnay, and bubbly moscato. Unlike sweeter rosés, this variety leans crisp and elegant—thanks to the natural dryness of the Grenache grape. The lady who served us was knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all our questions with ease. A great little winery just outside Armidale!
