The first time ever to get pizza here in West Philly and the food is delicious. You know while I'm driving around I always love to experience and taste food from different areas South, Southwest, North East and different specialties. It's always good to learn something new and also I can help my customers with their choices

I ordered a pizza and cheese fries. The pizza was fine but my fries were undercooked. They gave me a replacement on the fries and guess what!!!!!! They were undercooked also. I called all night and the next day to try to get a refund just for the fries but no one called or cared that I was a unsatisfied customer. I will never give them another penny. Don’t waste your time on this place and their new owners. Horrible experience. I should have learned from the past. Never again

I placed my order TWO HOURS ago. It’s now 9:26 PM. Still no pizza. No tracking update. No call. Not even a smoke signal. I’ve called the shop at least a million times—no answer. I called Slice (bless their confused hearts) another million times, and even they were like, “We don’t know what’s going on, sis.” How is Slice out here promoting a partnership like this without even an expedition (explanation + expedition because that’s how long the wait feels) for the terrible service? If you enjoy: Meditating on hunger Getting ghosted by customer service And the thrill of playing “Will my food show up before sunrise?” Then congratulations—you’ve found your pizza soulmate. But if you’re hungry, have taste buds, or believe in hot meals, I suggest you run—not walk—past Pete’s Pizza and get yourself something that actually arrives. Pete’s: where the pizza’s cold, the phones don’t work, and the only thing served hot is regret.

This IS THE LAST TIME I'm getting anything from here. I ordered a large veggie pizza with pepperoni and extra sauce, and I specifically asked for EXTRA sauce and when I received my pizza there was NO sauce to be found. I DIDN'T ASK FOR EXTRA LESS ! It is absolutely ridiculous for an order to take 6 hours to be delivered. If you have one driver then maybe don’t do deliveries or limit the amount of deliveries you have to do. An extra soda is not enough compensation, I am unfortunately the type of person who forgets to eat or waits until I’m super hungry unintentionally. I will not be ordering from this store anymore because that is just nonsensical. I honestly want my money back.

When in the city 2 days ago my son mentioned the Philly Cheesesteak Pizza from Pete’s. We stopped at the 52nd Street location & ordered a pizza to go. The customer service was excellent, the wait was exactly what we were told, 15 minutes. We were thanked for stopping in. The pizza was just as we remembered it. We took half of it home & the rest of our family was looking for more…lol Great quality as usual

I had to edit my last review EAGLES up by 10 Pete’s Down by 4 Service is Perfect but my fries weren’t cooked all the way and pizza cooked to much. I need a good Pizza spot.

Would give it zero stars if I could they are horrible I ordered at 7:30 and it is after 9 and still have not received my food or money back

The people in my office order from Pete's at least 3 times a week. The food is good and the delivery woman is super sweet. Now, I'm not a person who normally would give a review, but after my experience today, I definitely wanted to. I ended up ordering two days in a row, and the owner (after hearing my should be in bed, not work, voice) greeted me by name and started to take my order. He offered soup, which I declined b/c I was trying to get my greasy, hangover meal in. (Yeah yeah, I know. I should have stayed home and not went out partying feeling like hell, but the Halloween costume wasn't going to waste) So the delivery woman gets here and mentioned my soup may have spilled. Automatically I smiled and let her know it was fine. I'm sure I'm not the only one he goes above and beyond for, but it was nice to know that an owner actually cared a little bit and showed a little heart, and sent me the soup anyway. Yeah sometimes the girls who answer the phone need to review their Customer Service 101 notes, but I will continue giving my business to an owner like Pete.

Strombolis and pizza is always spot on never had to complain about these items whenever I order them always good fresh and hot

The food there is very good there that's never the problem. The only thing is the time but that's gonna happen when it's fresh pizza and if you have sensitive ears wait outside it's a lot of slamming going on inside.

Cashier should probably be more concerned with taking peoples orders than flirting with someone else in line. Who also skipped the line in front. ‍Foods good though.

Stopped in last night to grab something quick to eat. I ordered a small cheese pizza, perfect for a personal size--and it was delicious too! I was very surprised by the customer service, the cashier was really sweet and funny, made me feel like my money was well spent. Thanks again Pete's Pizza

The absolute worst place to even think about ordering from.. we give this place chance after chance due to them staying open the latest.. and every single time there's an issue.. from food being extremely cold burned or half missing it never fails and the female answering the phone has to hate her job and she displays it carelessly do not order from here trust me you will be upset and regretting it tonight will be the last time I ever try to Eder from this place again.. my food is missing the lady on the phone is rude now I'm hungry and nothing is open.. I hate business that takes advantage of customers because they are the only thing available.. this was a very bad experience and it's sad a business and carry on this way

Nothing short of disgusting. Never again! The wings did it for me, they literally had feathers. Then they had the nerve to tell me "they don't clean their chicken" and proceeded to hang up as if I'm not a paying customer ! Zero stars if I could they were rude and had a nerve to force me to come to the store because they hung up on me and didn't answer again! Just wow terrible food and horrible service.

It's a shame that I have to give this review but I have never had to wait 2 hours for an order I never received. I called to place a large order for my family of 5 and I gave my credit card information as payment. Lady tells me to make sure I have my credit card available for the driver to confirm and I was like Great! She tells me the order will take 45 min to an hour for delivery and I was like Cool! Usually they are punctual with their timing so when an hour and ten min past... I gave them a call to get an update on my order. Lady says the food is out and driver is on their way. I decided to be patient and wait another 30 min. After 30 min, no show... I called the store again and requested a refund. At this point my kids haven't eaten and my girlfriend and I are starving! The woman attempted to tell me that me asking for a refund when the food is being delivered is not happening. I told her that I need to feed my family and I would appreciate a refund because I never had to wait this long for food. She puts me on hold and confirms my claim. She gets back on the line and tells me that my order was delivered and I should have my food. She then tells me that my food was given to my wife sitting on the steps. Describes her as a woman with a ponytail. Nobody in my home has a ponytail and sits on the steps at 8 @ night! So at this point I'm like I never received a knock or a phone call when the food arrived. So at this point somebody is lying. I asked for a refund and said I never received food at my location. She got defensive and continued to push the idea that I received my food and it was given to a woman. I wasn't about to let her think it was ok for her driver to give away 50 dollars worth of food that I never received. At this point I am reluctant to order from them again. Don't tell me to have my card information ready upon arrival and then change your story and tell me that the card system is down. Don't give your customers instructions or broken promises if your not sure you can deliver. Horrible customer service!

I only had the pizza, it was good. I mean it's pizza, you'd have to be really horrible to be a pizza shop and mess up pizza. I didn't think it was any better or worse than others. I had half plain and half veggie and enjoyed them both. I would order from here again. The delivery was prompt and the driver was nice.

Too bad. Literally this is too bad. I called to know the option of the bread they have for their cheesesteaks, the lady that picked up asked for my address which I gave to her, she literally hung up without saying a damn! Word!!!!

Great pizza and service. Cheeses and delicious crust. Manager was super generous in feeding and supporting soldiers of the National Guard called in to protect the citizens of West Philadelphia. Would definitely gets Pete's pizza at other locations.

Great establishment with great pizza! The owner is a very nice and welcoming man. He will make sure you are completely satisfied with your order! Pete's pizza goes above and beyond to make your experience the best it can be!

This store has the worst customer service I've ever encountered from the manager Dave being an old pervert down to the delivery driver's and your order not being correct Dave the manager actually had the nerve to ask me if he could see what I taste like and he's a married man smh now how sick is that I would never order another thing from this store if they were the last place on earth with food

Don't even waste your time placing an order! Wanted to grab salad on my way home one evening. Something told me to order from Somewhere closer to my house but Pete's was closer at the time so I ordered. I was given a 20 minute pick up time. Fine, it's a Friday night and I was already put on hold for few a minutes so I figured they were busy. I took my time getting there and sat in the car. Giving them a good 25 minutes. I get there and still sit in the car for 5 minutes. Get inside, someone greets me and tell me that someone will be right with me. Meanwhile it's 4 employees behind the counter. My wait is another 5 minutes. Someone finally comes out the back I give them my name and he gives me a total. Before I pay I ask is it ready. He says not yet. I ask because I can't wait at first he flags me, then he says 5 minutes then walks away from the counter to start yelling at another employee. I can't make this stuff up so I left. Never again. They need customer service training badly. They do not appreciate for their customers and don't care for your business. The worst ever! Stay away.

If I could give no stars I would the driver never called to deliver my food sat outside and assumed I should know the woman answering the phone has terrible customer service and proceeded to have an attitude as you can see by the reviews this restaurant has many issues DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM

If I could give this nasty place zero stars I would. Chicken fingers are dry, pizza is mediocre and the customer service is horrible. There are a lot of pizza places in the area- pick one of those

It's always an issue with them. They half cook the pizzas, sometimes the cheese is not even fully melted. You have to damn near say burn it. Be prepared to wait 2 hours or just never get your food at all.

Worst costumer service ever. Went inside the pizzeria to order and the lady had a bad attitude and told me I have to order on the phone. When I called on the phone the lady was rude and seems like she was in a rush to finish my order.

Before I review Pete's Pizza, let's get one thing clear: Pizza in Philadelphia is mostly craptacular. It is from within that framework, that I review the pizza at Pete's. Pete's does what most of Philly does and what ruins the overall quality of the pizza you are getting; they start with cheap ingredients. The sauce is a little too sweet and tastes like it doesn't have much added to the original tomato paste base. The crust was actually not bad and seems to have been brushed with some garlic butter before cooking. The toppings were decent, but nothing to write home about. Small bonus for the swine haters: all-beef pepperoni. The cheese again is a weak spot. mediocre cheese = mediocre pizza. I would likely eat from here again, but only because it's 2 blocks from the gf's house. Next time though, I think I'm going for the mega fries (read: mozzarella, cheddar and bacon over french fries. with ranch dip!) Coronary city, population: this guy!

The pizza ain't bad for what I am coming to learn is just philly pizza, but I ordered a small pie to go and the staff was so unfriendly and inattentive that it made me not want to order from here again.

Great pizza, and even better people people. 10/10 recommend. The owner cares about his community a lot. I was in the city with the national guard and Pete's Pizza handed out boxes upon boxes of pizza to support the troops!

Amazing pizza and amazing people. Would highly recommend to anyone in this area. They are the type of people to put others before themselves. The most selfless individuals I have ever met.

I am apart of the Army National Guard and had to be stationed for a couple of days at 52nd and Haverford due to the State Activation. During this time being posted at a corner and patrolling the block Pete's Pizza gave us delicious pizzas and a place to use to bathroom when needed. The pizza was delicious and there bathroom in their working place is nice and clean. Pete's pizza not only has delicious food. They serve the people in the community. This is a Great Place.

I will never forget the time I ordered a steak for delivery that never came. I waited an hour and then I called up to see what was going on. They asked me what I ordered and I told them and they told me that nobody called and ordered that. Click. Before this incident I ordered from Pete's for about 5 years. I was done after that. Steaks and like an earlier review says, mega fries, were all they had going for themselves. It's been so long... who knows now.

They just failed inspection due to bed bug findings and mouse turds amongst other disgusting findings.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! The absolute worst i understand that due to the weather my delivery could be delayed but they said they called my phone and they didn't. I've been waiting over two hours for my food and still haven't received it. Getting a refund and they will not receive my services again.

If I could not give a star I would. This place is horrible. Staff are rude and nasty. Cook wiped sweat off his forehead and turned around and tried to put our fish in the fryer with that same hands. Never ever get your order right. They always miss something or give you the wrong order. Delivery is always extra late and pizza and food ice cold. I called and the female who answered was cheeky and disrespectful and had a nasty attitude. The manager is the same as staff. This place should be closed down for not being clean and staff are the worst. Food horrible on all occasions.

Very disappointing service and food. My fiance and I ordered a hoagie and burger using Ubereats. His food arrived in about 45 minutes, but the restaurant failed to provide my burger. We called the restaurant and were told that a Pete's restaurant nearer to our home would send my burger. This was the closest Pete's. Sigh. During the 45-minute wait for my burger delivery, I ate some of my fiance's hoagie. It was so oily and slipping with mayonnaise that it made me queasy. The turkey tasted great, so it was a real shame that the dressings were slapped together so carelessly. When my burger finally arrived, it tasted greasy, flavorless, and lukewarm. I couldn't finish it. I will not be a return customer.

I'm writing because that's how serious I am about this..I highly recommend that you do not order from Pete's Pizza !!!!!!!!!! Seriously, I can not say it loud enough or make the bold print big enough. Please don't do it!!!! First, I originally placed the following order: #5 special large stromboli, 20 buffalo wings, 2 blt's on wheat bread, and fries w/ketchup and pepper at 5:25pm. I was told that the order would take 40 mins for delivery. Then, at 5:55pm, I received a phone call indicating they no longer had pork bacon, they only had turkey bacon. Wow it took 30 mins to figure out that they were out of pork bacon. I canceled the sandwiches and fries and kept the #5 special. I called back at 6:44pm to check in on my delivery and the gentlemen was aggressive, rude and could not give me an exact time of delivery. He said, "it's on the way and hung up on me before I could finish my call. Finally, at 7:40 pm my cell phone rang!!! Wow you mean to tell me my original order which was placed at 5:25pm, took 2hrs 15 min to cook and deliver!!!! As they opted to take 2hrs 15min to cook and deliver, I opted not to accept the order.. Really good pizza and wings. The owner was very nice to us and came and talked with us. Very good, will certainly eat there again.

Great pizza!! The people are extremely nice and caring. I've been to alot of pizza places in many different countries and Pete's pizza is really one of the best pizza's I've ever had. 10/10 would recommend.

I ordered pizzas for a event that I was having. Pizzas were overcooked and burnt. Never again will I order from this location. I was very surprised because Pete's is known for good pizza

I ordered breakfast and I got most of what I paid for but not my order. I ordered extra meat and cheese didn't get either. I called Petes and was told they tried calling me about my order. I'm upset because I hate being lied to no where on my phone on caller ID does it say anyone called this morning except the delivery man. If you lie about this small fact what will you do with my food? WILL NOT ORDER AGAIN!

Yo petes dirty A SSHIT they failed their inspection because the workers had bed bugs on their clothes mouse droppings on the damn slicer too who's running this place? This deserves to be shut down. I ordered pizza there once and the pizza was the nastiest thing I've ever had.

I order from here recently the large cheesesteak platter and it was disgustingly greasy the roll of the steak was soggy and dripping with grease and the the ketchup on my fries gave them a funny after taste. Would not order this again from here

The people that answer the phones at this joint need about 3 years of Customer Service Training. Good grief, it's 1 thing to be Hood but you can at least attempt professionalism when people are calling to give you they're money. I called to place an order and some jaded being picked up the phone all Snappy and brash. when I gave her my address she said they don't deliver in my area, ''Call da other stow'' then hung up. She didn't even bother to give me the number to ''da other stow'' Then someone called me back repeatedly and when I finally picked up asked did I place and order. When I said no they just hung in my face. Yup, I'm good. Won't be attempting and order from here again.

The young lady who answers the phone last night Sunday Sept 8th sounds asleep and answers the phone n puts you on hold... she is rude and hung up on me because I asked why she needed my entire billing address n security code and expiration date for credit order...... She is very rude........all I did was ask a question n she gave me this speech bout doing her job n hung up..... Birds!!!!!!! Then the food was not worth that hassle!!! The spaghetti was just ok.... Never will I order from then aging, I placed order at 12pm and had to call them at12:40pm because my food wasn't delivered, for them to tell me 40 more minutes, and they tell me it still hasent gone out yet. People with jobs get 30 to an hour lunch breaks. I don't have time for these people and there shenanigans

Disgusting. I ordered a barbecue chicken salad it had pickles instead of cucumbers. Chicken was overcooked. And it took 1 hour to get to my house even tho they're around the corner. 1 hour for a salad. Unbelievable

The pizza is really good. But the customer service is by far the worst I have ever experienced. Deliver and pick up takes forever. And I live 2 blocks away. It doesn't make sense.

I'm from the area and I've been ordering from Petes for almost a year now. Their breakfast is very good, and I really like their BBQ chicken pizza. I always order the Mega fries which include beef bacon, and baked mozzarella cheese. But I'm giving them two stars because I had the worst experience last week. So I called and the person was very friendly. I told her I wanted a grilled chicken Stromboli and then she seemed distracted. She apologized and then I informed me that two cooks quit that night and that they were a little behind. I then became hesitant about my order because I was worried about the outcome of my food she then reassured me that everything would taste the same. I went to go pick up my order and realized they charged me extra for green peppers and onions and I didn't recall that ever being the case. I got home cut a slice of the Stromboli and I knew I was in trouble. Instead of using the dough for a typical Stromboli they used their pizza dough. So instead of an Stromboli I got a inside out pizza. It was disgusting the green peppers and onions were over cooked and the inside of the Stromboli (inside out pizza) was really doughy. To top it off there was barely any chicken in it. I ended up throwing more than half of the food away and was highly disappointed. So from now on if I was ever to call again I would ask did anybody quit that night.

This the absolute worst place ever I tried to give more than one chance. They're buffalo wings are disgusting. I ordered buffalo chicken fingers once and only one had buffalo sauce on them. I had to drive my order back to the store. Their attitudes are so atrocious and unprofessional. Today 12/21 I ordered a cheeseburger via eat24.com. It took 2hrs and 15min to get my house. I'm only 5 min away. Then when the driver arrives he says oh your total is _____ I went off. I paid online already. I then at that point canceled my order. Do not order from them

Last Sunday I ordered breakfast from you guys at 11:40am...I called twice...just to be told the delivery guy had already left...finally calling a third time at 1:20 I spoke with a manager...I asked him what the issue was...all this dude could say was in a rude voice did I want it or not!!...hell no!!..on top of that.... false advertising!!!..your menu clearly states in the top right hand corner....if we are 30 minutes late....50% off...I mentioned this and was told...oh we don't honor that........you guys suck...never ordering from you ever...extremely disappointed!!!

Was just verbally assaulted for sitting in a chair out front to wait for my pizza that was given to someone else. Heavy set delivery driver screamed at me about sitting in one of three chairs in front of the store for almost a minute. Went inside to get my pizza and asked if he worked there and that he was screaming at me, the teller and the manager tried telling me he was joking. He was not. And my order was wrong. I wont be ordering here again.

The food has gotten progressively worse in the year and a half since I have been ordering takeout from them. The counter service is surly and refuse to get an order correct. I believe they must have had a change in management, because I used to really enjoy their food. Now, they just can't get an order right 1/1 times, not even a salad. DO NOT EAT AT PETE'S ON HAVERFORD.
