The Bacon Mozza burger was juicy and the fries simple spicy. The melted mozzarella with maple flavoured bacon was mouth watering…perfect for the bacon lover! Meal pricing was reasonable. We arrived at 1:30, just when the lunch hour was ending, the seating inside was full with one table to spare. By 2pm the restaurant was empty and only 2 tables inside being occupied. Sydney was a speedy, pleasant server and was very welcoming. We will be returning again!

Friendly staff, went out of their way to fit us in for supper. Place was packed with NHL playoffs, but they made us a spot on the deck with heaters and outdoor TV. Took great care of our kids and their thirsty appetites! Great service. And great food. Pizza was delicious!

The first night we were there, the service was wonderful. The food (quesadillas) was ok with more onion than chicken. The second time we went there, it took an hour for nachos and a burger. The nachos had very little beef, which was an extra cost of $6. We asked for extra cheese and to layer the cheese. They then charged us for having the cheese layered instead of on the top, which never happened to us at any other restaurants we ordered nachos from. The fries were good, and the burger was alright with lots of bacon and a premade patty. The service that day was slow, and the waitress never came back to check on us only to bring us the bill before asking if we wanted anything else. We did like the fact they have a dog friendly patio.

We loved it. Lots of gripes here about the cost, but for a pizzeria in the middle of a national park, far from a city, it's delicious and a decent value. The pizza was hot and the toppings were very fresh. The crust is a little thicker than normal and the tomato sauce was very tangy and tasty. Ice cold beers and friendly, snappy service. A must-visit in Waskesui!

We came in with a huge group and Pete's accommodated us, served some killer food (level 5 heat Volcano pizza destroyed several of us) and had such a fun atmosphere. Legendary Waskesiu spot!

The atmosphere was good. The place was good. The washroom was clean. The food was good, but I think that we had very high expectations. We ordered the Hawaiian pizza. It was good, but I was expecting, I don't know something much better. And I think the prices are a little bit high, but for being in a touristic place I think is fair. We might go back to try something different, maybe a burger next time.

Dog friendly patio! 3 visits, with each visit getting the exact same wonderful service. Great snack food, very delicious main courses. Fair prices Open late for night life fun All in all...my go to regular spot while we were here...for good reason. Pub style menu with lots of options ...and all the meals were extremely tasty. Thank you for making our trip a memorable one folks.

All was really well, from the food to the friendly waitresses. Unfortunately there were some staff (couldn’t tell who) out in the back behind the patio smoking weed and coughing the entire time we were there. Freedom to smoke but very unprofessional and we had our young child with us.

Yelp
First off I have to say we were quite pleased with the taste of the pizza. Prices are insane. We were checking out of hotel and I enjoy cold pizza in the morning so I took a big happy bite and a long piece of hair cooked into the cheese pulled out of my mouth and was stuck under the Italian sausage. We own a pizza place ourselves and we wear hairnets and other devices to protect from this. I went from really liking this pizza to almost being sick. You guys need to do better in your kitchen it's not ok to have hair in your food. Enforce hairnets in food prep. Just gross.

Yelp
The food and atmosphere are good. The service was terrible. We ordered a pepp/mush pizza to share and requested that onions be on half instead of mushrooms (so essentially half was pepp/mush and half was pepp/onion). The mushrooms were forgotten completely so we mentioned but said no thanks to a side of mushrooms being brought out (pizza would have been cold by then). The bill: $32.60 for the pizza, an add on charge of $1.95, and another add on charge of $3.95. Our waitress kept the bill on her tray while she entered the total in the machine, handed the machine to my husband, then put the bill on the table. He glanced at the total to make sure it matched then paid. By doing this the waitess pretty much kept the bill out of our sight and I didn't notice the upcharges until I looked at it afterwards. We questioned the waitress about the charges, she said it's an old system so it's "entered automatically". I replied that she hadn't told us about a charge to substitute vegetables (understandable if there's a charge to substitute a veg for a meat) and again asked to know why there were two add-on fees. She took the bill and walked away. Another server came out and said she'd call her manager down, but they'd refund the bill, recharge without the add ons. We said okay and sat back to wait. Our original waitress came out, slammed $4.50 in change on the table, and walked away without a word. So, not only were there unexplained add ons on our bill, how our server handled it was terrible. The complaint isn't over $5.95 in over charges...it's about terrible communication, a bad attitude, and mismanagement of a problem that could have very easily been dealt with quickly and politely. We won't be back and yes, I've called the manager.

Yelp
Good pizza, obscene prices. See attached menu for prices. PS: A take-home container (1L) of pizza sauce costs $25.00.

Yelp
Located in a log cabin. Wooden tables and a bar counter. A large outdoor patio. TVs inside. Burger was good and Greek salad excellent for a park in the middle of nowhere. Prices are higher in the park. Staff super friendly. Order arrived quick. They have pizzas and salads. Great spot. Large windows. Busy.

Yelp
We stopped in for pick-up, and the pizza was hot, fresh and generous with the toppings. Sure, it's more expensive than pizza in the city but you have to take into account the fact that it's a seasonal restaurant in a national park; I expect to pay more (at another business, my son's ice cream was $7).

Yelp
This restaurant is nicely located right across the lake and on the main road which makes it great for people watching. If you're like me and don't want a side of ashtray with your food, stay inside. The patio IS NOT smoke-free. Summer is short so I don't want to be sitting inside; I'd rather spend my money at a business that doesn't put its workers or customers in the line of bad habits. The food is ok but over-priced for what you're getting. Typical summer prices to make up for being closed in the winter. The staff is ok but so busy that it's hard to get great service. For the prices you pay, you're better off spending a little more and getting quality food and customer service at Pietro's a few blocks up.

Yelp
Very friendly and warm environment. Ok pizza and drinks a bit weak but we had a great time sitting outside for dinner.

Yelp
I could not believe their high prices....! Increased costs in a small resort town is one thing, but $25 for a 10" pizza is crazy, especially when it's nothing special.

Damon S.

Yelp
Greatest pizza in Waskesiu!! Had a great time there! Great for family's! The best pizza I have had in a long time!

Marcia S.

Yelp
Be prepared to feel taken. Ordered two small gluten free pizzas and one ginger ale. $65

Kiri K.

Yelp
Good pizza, tried the big kahuna and the spicy volcano. Food was good and service was quick and prices are higher than the Saskatoon rates, but that's what you expect at a sleepy resort town. Good place to unwind after a full day on the lake.

David A.

Yelp
I understand that they want to flip tables but I really am not impressed that they were trying to rush us out. Wanted to stay and watch the football game and felt like that wasn't an option. The server wasn't very friendly until she wanted a tip. Now the food. The chicken was luke warm at best and the lettuce was wilted and old. The one small slice of tomato looked like it was a day old. There isn't many choices around here so they can get away with poor food quality and typical Canadian service standards I guess. The food was expensive for what you got.

Lee A.

Yelp
I had the best Caesar Salad that I can remember today at Pete's! House made dressing and perfectly distributed and perfect crunch artisan garlic bread. This place is like being in a foodie cabin with your friends and family . I have kids and we order pizza from all the chains and nothing compares to Pete's. My kids love it here, and the genuine and friendly staff that cater to you as soon as you walk in rock! A rare seasonal gem in the sea of cookie cutter restaurants. They also offer to make you a pile of frozen pizza to get your fix through winter too!

Yelp
Food is worse than fast food at a very slow pace! Could have rectified the problem by coming out and offering us something while we Waited over an hour for burgers and chicken fingers with a three year old! 45 mins in they told us the kitchen equipment was not working. Not cool. Side of gravy was 3.50!

Dan Y.

Yelp
Waited for approximately an hour for our food. Wasn't told there was a delay due to kitchen equipment not working until after 45 minutes. Had we been told this up front, we could have had the opportunity to go somewhere else. Missed out on other activities waiting for food. And no discount for the inconvenience. Once the food arrived, it was mediocre at best. Burger too salty, over spiced. And $3.50 for a small container of gravy???! Wow. Won't be going back.
