The good: the owner, John, is an interesting and helpful guy (perhaps a tad too intense, but it's a matter of taste) and the view is indeed excellent. The staff - meaning, the only other guy there - was also nice.
The bad: unfortunately, pretty much everything else. It might once have been great, but the place itself is now tragic, as if it hasn't been maintained for a decade. The paint is chipped and falling everywhere and the pool is in disrepair, with a ton of tiles cracked or missing. There are broken chairs around it, and a 3 meter fall right next to it with no railing (or railing below the knee in some parts). A corner of the roofbox was falling down. The area behind the hotel, when you open the bathroom windows, was pretty much full of trash.
The room, although clean, was pretty outdated and cheaply furnished. Lightning is poor and the TV didn't work. The bathroom seemed to have been redone recently, but still the toilet seat was cracked and worn and one of the shower handles was broken.
Breakfast was acceptable. They're supposed to serve dinner as well, but we were told the cook was on holidays.
All of this would perhaps have been acceptable in a place in the < 100€ range. As it is, for the 250€ paid, it absolutely is not. Save yourself the disappointment and book somewhere else until the place is renovated.
