Second time staying here, we liked it very much the first time 2 years ago and happy to say we had a great time again! The location can't be beat. You can walk anywhere in town for wine tasting and food, and the Bouchon Bakery is literally next door. |The room is huge, extremely comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. It is charming and feels more like a home than a hotel room. The second night of our stay the town water had an e.coli finding/precaution and the owner promptly gave us a huge case of water bottles for us to use/brush teeth with and continued to check in with text and make sure we were doing ok and if we needed more water. Very appreciated!! |Had a wonderful stay and if we head back to Napa this will be the first place we book!

We stayed in room 1. It was lovely with a cozy bed and roomy bathroom. Yountville is a perfect location within wine country, and this is a perfect location within Yountville. I counted 54 steps from our front door to Bouchon Bakery's front door! Plenty of free parking too. The room had everything we needed and the fireplace was a nice touch. There is no daily cleaning service but they kept us stocked with everything we needed. It was easy to work with the hotel via text and I appreciate the extra accomodations they made for us due to a recent surgery. If you care about the TV, as others have commented, it's tiny and old! Price is exceptional for this area and we will definitely be back!

Called yesterday I was trying to book a room for the next weekend. I was asking a couple questions and the woman on the phone told me she did not have time for this and that I was wasting her time. I was just trying to research the best place to stay since this is my first time staying in Yountville. Now I know I should not be going there she was so rude. I asked to speak to the manager and she told me that she was the owner there and there was no one higher than her to speak to. Will be staying at hotel next door at Maison Fleurie.

Google
Absolutely wonderful! The room and location were perfect but what really made the experience was how welcoming the owners are. KT went out of her way to make sure we had a relaxing visit. We look forward to coming back!

I want to start off by saying the customer service here is completely unprofessional. I am not from here but was going to be traveling and thought this would be a great place to stay. The lady that works here is rude and unprofessional she deserves to get fired with how she treats people. I left due to feeling uncomfortable and her creating a hostile environment. So, good job on loosing a PAYING customer. I called to report her and she answered the phone and proceeded to call me names due to me speaking out about her poor behavior and refused to let me speak with a manager.

I cancelled this room 3 weeks ago and still got charged. Emailed, had no reply. I have rang numerous times and nobody answers.

Google
Would definitely stay here again, fantastic location. However, there were just a couple small elements that could be improved. Bathroom essentials (shampoo, body wash, etc), weren't refilled during our trip, though I'm sure they would have been had I asked. That said, I didn't want to call the owner at 11pm to ask for more body wash. Fireplace had a few issues, which the owner acknowledged when speaking with him. Room was still being cleaned when we arrived for check-in, so we had to wait a little bit before we could leave to go get food.

Google
Absolutely perfect experience. Location is the best in Napa Valley and Yountville. Imagine waking up to the smell of Bouchon Bakery every morning (fresh bread), and walking out the door to wonderful dining experiences a step from your room. Room was comfortable; bathroom, jacuzzi tub, and fireplace were nice. Real fireplace—top of it all. One of the most accommodating host anyone could ask for—especially for a new momma pumping and trying to bring milk back home.

Yelp
Petit Logis gave us more than we asked for. * We received clear, concise, warm and timely communications before our arrival * The room was ready earlier than check-in time * The room was even bigger and more lovely than it appeared on the website * The room was spotless * We received a very warm welcome from KT, who pampered us throughout our stay, and Jay, the owner, who built the hotel * We had a wonderful al fresco breakfast at the Bouchon Bakery, which is just steps away. * Bonus: We met a charming couple in the adjacent room, as they were enjoying their morning coffee on their patio.

Yelp
Loved this boutique hotel. It's in a perfect location in Yountville. (Right next to Bouchon bakery.) The rooms are large, and beautifully decorated, including a gas fireplace. We will definitely stay here again!

Yelp
A hidden gem in the middle of now glamorous Yountville. I almost hate to share it. Steps away from the Bouchon bakery and all of the great restaurants. And so reasonably priced for the location! If you are looking for resort or super fancy, perhaps not for you. Wonderful owner Jay and manager K.T. are so friendly and warm. We have stayed here multiple times and always the same level of friendliness and courtesy. The rooms are large with a nice big bathroom. New oak floors, country French design and murals, fireplaces and table. Check-in is laid back and easy. Room refresh provided daily if you need more towels or whatever. They will provide roll away beds for the kids. If you feel like Napa has become way too pricey, try the Petit Logis. You usually need reservations weeks/months in advance though.

Yelp
Exactly as advertised, quant rooms in a small inn. Just 5 rooms. Our group took up 3 of them. We all enjoyed the place and ability to hang out in the courtyard porches. Best location in Yountville. 20 feet to Bouchon (both bakery and bistro), la calenda, and a block walk to bottega, bistro jeanty, ad hoc, and others. Extremely reasonably priced for the location and quality of stay. Comfortable beds. Great shower and tub. Bring your Bluetooth speaker for some front porch listening. Highly recommend. Exceeded expectations from the dated website.

Yelp
Totally loved this place... Easy check in a note was taped to the office door indicating that our room was open and the key was in there... room was big and clean had a fireplace that is activated by switch (love it!) * hint find that switch BEFORE you go wine tasting huge bathroom... walking distance to EVERYTHING that matters... bouchon/bouchon bakery on one side hurley's on the other side pac blues/bottega across the street will totally return

Patty S.

Yelp
Perfect centrally located little place. The room is spacious, clean, cozy with s fire-place, tv hidden behind little cute shutters. The bathroom has a huge tub with jets and the shower has excellent water pressure and big. The room included a keurig coffee maker with various choices as well as various teas. The couch was very comfortable. It was perfect for me to sit and leisurely read with a blanket (extra available in the closet). The room included a fridge under the counter inside the bathroom and a table round table with chairs to fit and enjoy a cup of coffee and read, etc. Outside the room their was seating area that I can picture myself enjoying had it not been January (cold & raining). The house-keeper is super nice and sweet. This little place is next door to Buchon's bakery - so from time to time you will enjoy the aroma of fresh bread. I look forward to hopefully staying here in the future.

Yelp
Went here for to celebrate our anniversary 6.20.14 weekend and stayed two nights. We stayed in room #1 and arrived at midnight on Friday. Great little 5 room inn. Amenities are simple yet updated and clean. There's a small little tube tv in the wall, but you're not meant to stay inside and watch tv when you're in Napa! It had cable anyways. It's right next door to Bouchon and Bouchon Bakery. Can't beat that! You'll be first in line to get your baked goods. We booked our room fairly easy. Called and it was reserved. The place is affordable and you can't beat the location. Central in terms of all of Napa Valley and central in terms of the town of Yountville. You kind of hear the street noise since you're so close to the center, but that dies down early enough.

Jackie D.

Yelp
Super cute rooms. They're a little dated but quality is great. You're literally right behind Bouchon and can get your pastries for breakfast. Not to mention you're walking distance from French Laundry. Highly recommend staying here.

Tim H.

Yelp
This place is right in the heart of Yountville. A short walk to basically all the restaurants in town. I plan comeback next year! Oh and the owner mailed a necklace I forgot in the room at no charge!

Zildheam D.

Yelp
Petit Logis is a hidden gem...I hesitate to write this and let the world know! Our room was perfect, clean, cozy, huge and that Jacuzzi style bath tub: WOW. Best value in Yountville and next door to Bouchon bakery, I walked right into Bouchon at 730AM and had my way with them (no line). Maria takes pride in her work and our room was impeccable each day, this is now the only place I want to stay when in Napa. Making the reservation was easy and done over the phone.

Jason K.

Yelp
A great location, right in downtown Yountville. A beautiful, large room, large bathroom, and other nice amenities. We really appreciated the refrigerator in the bathroom, the convenience next to Bouchon and the bakery and where hot air balloons launch with Napa Aloft, the flip-switch fireplace, and general appearance of everything. The price is also pretty reasonable given the whole package. Our only couple of complaints were: 1. The A/C, which even with the fan set to high would still turn off and on throughout the night when the target temperature was reached. This resulted in wakeups throughout the night. 2. The bed, which others say is a queen bed, and it might be, but still could have easily been a king bed given all of the space available in the room. We really enjoyed everything else and would definitely stay there again.

Martha H.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I just spent the week at Petit Logis. It was wonderful! The room was lovely and quiet. We were close to amazing restaurants and wineries. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet time away from the madding crowd. I give it five stars!

Allison F.

Yelp
Perfect inn right in the center of Yountville. We loved being able to walk to restaurants and even a few wineries. The room was great as well and check-in was seamless. Thank you!

Scott W.

Yelp
Great little spot right in the heart of Yountville. Seated right in between Bouchon Bakery and La Calenda. It may not have all the trappings that some of the famous spas have in Yountville, but you can't beat the price or the location. We will definitely stay here again.

J C.

Yelp
I wanted to make an updated review to note that Petit Logis is still run by the same excellent folks. We scheduled a 10 year anniversary return visit to Petit Logis in March of this year. They were so kind to work with us to make sure we could get the same room that we had stayed in previously, and made further accommodations to fit our schedule. Then COVID and shelter in place orders arrived just before our stay. They refunded us even though we did not expect it (less than 10 days cancellation notice). We will definitely stay here again once this pandemic is over.

Yelp
I'm conflicted. I have been eyeing this gem for some time now, but never got lucky enough to get the dates I need them for. Voila! 3 years later on a whim I decided to stay a night in Napa after a day of tasting with friends. I called 1 day prior to my arrival, which was a Friday. Kerrie was easy and I was able to book a room with no questions asked. A very laid back and no frill experience over the phone. After hanging up I wanted to make sure of certain things such as (how late can I check in, and will anyone be there and how do I get in). I am aware it's only a 5 room inn, so I wanted to double check. I was told that the room would be unlocked and the key (not a key card) would just be on the desk. I arrived at the peak of the bustle at 7:30/8:00pm on a Saturday night. My GPS tells me I have arrived at my destination and I was shocked to see that there is no designated parking for the place. I pulled in next door at Hurley's restaurant parking lot, but it was full (very little parking lot). I hazard so I could place a call hoping I'd be directed to a parking lot...a man answers, named Jay? I believe... if he is the owner who represents this place on his website, he did not made me feel welcome. Instead he made me feel frazzled and stressed. I was a bit frustrated since I was not able to find parking and my GPS tells me I arrived. I see the place and I see a mini gate but there is just no way to double park and unload and leave your car there, it was very busy surprisingly. Jay answered but he was impatient with me and was combative and as I tried to explain to him where I was, (look bud, I'm not from here and if my GPS says I'm here and I see your place in front of me, I am here). Instead he kept asking me what street am I on and I kept telling him, "I am next to your place at Hurley's restaurant parking lot, is there a designated parking lot for your guests?" Instead, here's what he said, "I don't know how else I can make it easy for you, I don't know what you are talking about, I have 7 spaces available here". As the owner slash builder of the place and someone who is familiar with the area, he should have known that I was on the opposite side of their front entrance, it was confusing since the back area has a gate and it says "Petit Logis", so I am here! I even said there's a gate and he said, "I do not know what you are talking about". Which made my head spin cause he did not help find solution, instead kept on questioning me and making me feel like I am in the wrong place. Instead he just combatively continued to sound annoyed with me and then tells me, "okay if you found parking there just walk in". I was tired and over it, I just wanted to get in and relax. Really? We found parking at Hurley's Restaurant since someone left, we walk in from the "back" and to our room and saw that there is a mini parking lot on the opposite side. Go figure, thanks Jay... you could have made this call go smoothly by saying, "you might be at the opposite side, we have a designated lot on such and such street". We moved our car, the door was unlocked and the key was on the desk. Cute little place, the bathroom is half the size of the room, clean, but since the walls were somewhat a "themed" hacienda type, you can't tell if they are stains from people or just purposely done. Not my style since you can't really clean those types of walls. I appreciated the nice bathroom, big jacuzzi tub. 1) Sheets were rough 2) Jets did not work 3) Loved the Keurig coffee and natural tea and (half & half, sugar and more to chose from) 4) I was concerned that they just leave the rooms unlocked, can't trust anyone these days, someone could be waiting inside for you, or other guest could copy the room key and just rob you while you are gone 5) Lacking Host personality, no receipt via email, no receipt upon check out, no one was in the office to see face to face or check out 6) Very cozy and relaxing stay and nice patio to have your wine or tea and enjoy 7) Love the organic shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Smells good Overall, if my encounter with Jay did not go the way it did, I would have given this place 4 stars. Being in Marketing, your presentation and helpfulness is HUGE - for your reputation, and I was turned off by my encounter and his abrasive manner. Please update your yelp, it still says "bed & breakfast" and take care of your guests. Thank you.

Katie D.

Yelp
I would definitely recommend Petit Logis to travelers seeking well located and reasonably priced accommodations in Yountiville. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The fireplace and free internet access were nice bonuses. Petit Logis is situated downtown just behind Bouchon Bakery. You can walk to all the great restaurants and can smell the the Bakery from your room - it doesn't get much better than that! We'll be back for sure.

Monica R.

Yelp
Even though we arrived in the middle of the night everything about this inn was easy. Reservations made over the phone, key waiting in the room for us. Very nice bathroom, fireplace and location - you'll be paying roughly half of what you'd pay for any of the other hotels in the area, but you'll still be within walking distance of everything in Yountville. We LOVED our stay here - very enamored with both the inn and the town, and it doesn't hurt that Bouchon is just around the corner. lovely!

Christina S.

Yelp
Very cute little hotel. Great location. Very cozy. We stayed here for three nights and had a great time. There are only four or five little cottages so its is very cozy, its right on the main strip close to the restaurants and right next door to that snazzy little bakery that everyone in town goes to. The owner was easy to work with, the maid came daily, the rooms were tidy and comfy. TV, fireplace, small sitting table, comfy chair and a nice hot tub in the huge bathrooms. There is also patio furniture and semi private patio in front of each room. We will definitely be back.

Brian C.

Yelp
Perfect location. Nice patios that are well isolated from the roads. Great for enjoying some wine. Rooms have everything you need.

Matt T.

Yelp
This is the type of place I hesitate to write a review about because I want to keep it a secret and all to myself! Location, location, location. The hotel is tucked away right in the middle of town right next to Bouchon Bakery. You just can't beat that spot. There is a cast iron gate to the road which when you pass through makes you feel like you just emerged from a secret hideout. The rooms themselves are simple yet more than satisfactory. This is not a full service hotel by any means but it does feel very comfortable and private. I stayed with family in two of the five rooms in August and was shocked at how reasonably priced the rooms were. Stay here and spend the money you saved at the fabulous restaurants and wineries!

Yelp
This review is based strictly on my experience with their staff. Not sure if it was because this was peak season for them, but the receptionist who takes reservations over the phone was one of the most unfriendly, hostile, condescending women I have ever talked to. First off, I had called at the beginning of the day to inquire about availability. After a few hours of searching, I called them back with some revised dates to ask again, and she responds, "Didn't I already talk to you?" After politely explaining that we had changed our dates to include more options, she says, "Well we still don't have anything." After pressing, I did get some date options, and decided to tentatively book something after asking about the cancellation policy. Before I could get my credit card out, she asks, "So you may cancel?" in an incredibly condescending voice. I was honest and said that I needed to confirm dates and would let them know within a few days (the reservation was for 5 weeks later), and she makes up, "Oh there's a cancellation policy and fee regardless of when you cancel." I mentioned that she had said earlier that cancelling was fine within 10 days, and she replied, "No there's still a fee." I truly think she made this up on the spur of the moment when she sensed my hesitation. I thanked her and hung up. C'mon people, when you're in the HOSPITALITY business, it's your J-O-B to be nice over the phone, patient with people's questions, and work with them on scheduling. Big FAIL for this place - can't stand rude service people with poor attitudes (and I'm from NYC!).

Yelp
Yountville is a wonderful, amazing foodie town that can be exceedingly expensive. However, if you stay at Petit Logis you can have your "cake and eat it too." Quite simply, it is smack in the middle of everything in the town. Park your car and never return until it is time to leave. It is literally between Bouchon and Hurley's with five rooms that have little patios that face a garden like area instead of the street. We stayed with another couple and sat outside our rooms one day enjoying wine, cheese and chocolate with complete privacy although we were about 15 steps away from the wandering crowds. It is great to be able to walk to the wine tasting venues and restaurants without worrying about driving. The rooms are large compared to many B&B's and have everything that is necessary including a fireplace and jet tub. The price is absolutely a steal compared to the hotel/spa's only a few yards away. Unless you want to get pampered at a spa for $600 - stay here for a third or less of the price. We loved it and our stay in Yountville. Side note: Mr. Keller you are doing things right (no doubt you know it) as we enjoyed your bakery and Ad Hoc. To have the eating options in a town of this size cannot be duplicated anyone else.

Lauren W.

Yelp
We recently went to The French Laundry for dinner, and, as recommended by friends who had been there before, we decided to stay overnight in Yountville. This was the perfect place. The price is right at about $200 a night during the week (which is positively a steal for this area), and the rooms were lovely -- all have in-room fireplaces and oversized jacuzzi tubs. Plus, it was easy walking distance from the restaurant, and practically in the back yard of Bouchon Bakery, which made for a tasty breakfast the following morning. The only downside was that there was some construction going on across the street, but it didn't really bother us. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Lucy Z.

Yelp
great room - queen sized bed, TV, fireplace, etc. also, wine glasses were available in the room and there was a small fridge in the bathroom to store the day's food and wine purchases. bathroom had hot tub and standing shower. there is free wireless internet, but it was a little choppy. location - can't be better if you want to be near Yountville restaurants: literally steps away from Bouchon and Bouchon Bakery. One block away from Bistro Jeanty. And walking distance from French Laundry. If you're only looking for a nibble of cheese, it's two blocks from Ranch Market Too. the price per night is also very reasonable for the area.

Frank D.

Yelp
This place I can not say enough about! It's fantastically centered in the heart of Yountville! Right next to Petit Logis is the Rave....the #1 thing everyone talks about in Napa valley Bouchon Bakery! You can roll out of bed first thing in the morning and be guaranteed first in line, that's how close you are. Petit Logis is very different than what it's name implies...The room is very large and spacious, comfortable the bathroom which is paired with the room is very large with a very nice size Jacuzzi tube. All I have to say is it's not a Petit as the name implies. This place is great, surrounded by all the best restaurants in Yountville Bouchon, Bistro Jeanty, and The French Laundry to name a few. It's a place that I will defiantly stay at agin when I visit Napa.

Andy S.

Yelp
Cute little place tucked away in the middle of Yountville. Not as expensive or pretentious as neighboring hotels/inns -- but all the charm and warmth you need. Easy walking distance to Bistro Jeanty, French Laundry or Bouchon -- and close to several of the Lower Napa wineries. In general I prefer staying further north -- but if you're set on Yountville (or surrounding) this is a great choice.

Sabrina V.

Yelp
I have to say the customer service here was the worst experience I've ever had. I called Petit Logis on a Friday hoping to get a last minute deal on room. No one answered. About 10 minutes go by until I received a call back from a lady, who turned out to be incredibly rude to me. I asked if she had a room available and all she said was, "I can give it to you for $200." I told her I would call her back to discuss with my boyfriend. Eventually, we had no other option which lead us to take a chance with this place. The room was very cozy and the place was centrally located in the middle of Yountville. The morning we checked out was fine. However, later that evening we received a charge of $295 in total plus tax. The lady ended up charging us at the regular day rate of $250. We called the lady and asked why she charged us for the regular rate when she told us she would give it to us at a discount price. She ignored our concern and said she will not be refunding us the difference. I would advise everyone to be cautious of this place since the people there can't keep their word on pricing. All they care about is making money and the only way they can do that is by lying to you. Yountville is a nice place but please be cautious when staying there, especially at Petit Logis.

David R.

Yelp
Shhhh Don't tell anyone else! This is truly a wonderful place to stay no matter if you are in Yountville for business or pleasure (wait in Yountville it's always a pleasure). Clean wonderful rooms and of course right next to "Bouchon Bakery" (see previous drooling review). Downtown and with in walking distance of everything. Enjoy! And thank you "Petit Logis"!!!

Tami G.

Yelp
The keys were waiting for us in the room, we didn't have to hassle with any checkin or tutorial. Cute room with all the necessary amenities. Was much cheaper than some of the other hotels in the area and really was wonderful. Will definitely be returning next time we are in the area.

Luanne G.

Yelp
We loved Petit Logis! It was the perfect place to stay, as it was walking distance to everything...restaurants, wineries, golf. Bouchon Bakery was right next door! Just get there before they open in the morning if you don't want to wait forever. Petit Logis looks like a hidden retreat from all the hustle outside their gates. Quiet, comfortable rooms, wonderful tub, but I removed one star as the air circulation could be better. A little warm, but it was July. I would stay here again!

Eva R.

Yelp
Excellent location, very clean and comfortable and all that for a price half of hotels nearby. We stayed at Petit Logis for one night as we had a late dinner at Bouchon. Before dinner we wandered around Yountville and had drinks at a couple of places - all within a quarter mile radius of Petit Logis.

Vincent C.

Yelp
clean, reasonable price and right in the heart of yountville. That is all that needs to be said, enjoy your stay.

Nic S.

Yelp
This place was very comfortable. My wife and I stayed for the weekend and had a great time. Right next to Bouchon which is sweet (no pun intended) if you are into that. We also met the owner who is super cool and down to earth who we talked to for some time.

Shauna H.

Yelp
We stayed in Room 1, which was a beautiful room with a double jacuzzi tub in the bathroom and a fireplace in the bedroom. The queen-sized bed was very comfortable, and the room was very clean with nice features such as a small refrigerator and wine glasses. It was very quiet, which was impressive in light of the location right in the center of everything! The wireless Internet worked just fine. We loved our stay, and will definitely visit this place again.

Kitty B.

Yelp
We enjoyed our stay here, very comfy. Romantic fireplace, lovely bathroom, nice patio and we'll be back again.

M K.

Yelp
In reading the reviews I found it interesting that I had the same experience as one other traveler. The receptionist/reservation person was extremely rude to me too. They need to find a new one. They had one room left for the Friday and Saturday night stay we wanted, but she said we couldn't have it because they had 4 vacancies on Sunday night and she'd only give me the room if I helped fill their Sunday vacancy. What?!?! When I explained we were only going to be in Yountville for the weekend and couldn't stay Sunday, she rudely said we couldn't have the room. Needless to say, we're going to be staying at another hotel. It might be a nice place if you can just get past the challenge of booking a room.

matt m.

Yelp
Stayed in Aug 2009. The room was clean, good size and with a queen bed. The best restaurants in Yountville are close and within walking distance. The oweners were not around and I liked the fact that my name was left on the front door and the room was open. Never had to worry about checking in or out. I guess if I had a complaint it would be that the shower head is low. Now that's reaching. I would stay here again. Also the construction acorss the street is done. A new hotel and restaurant are now there.

Molly G.

Yelp
The BEST hidden gem in the valley. Steps away from any Yountville destination. Gorgeous rooms and impeccable service. Cozy and quaint.

Dawn I.

Yelp
Awesome little spot in the heart of it all. Private, quiet and clean you can not go wrong with PL. Steps from amazing restaurants this is the best hidden spot in Yountville!

Karen A.

Yelp
Great location, quiet surroundings. We have stayed here twice now in 2 different rooms. The beds are HORRIBLE! They are too small and very uncomfortable. My husband and I had to take turns sleeping on our sides. We both woke up sore, stiff and with headaches from a terrible attempt at sleeping through the night. The heat was either on or it was off. The auto feature was not working. The small 14 \ 16 inch TV is crammed into a cubby on the wall. Blankets are very thin. On these very cold nights you had to also cover up with the thin bedspread as well as the spare thin bedspread in the closet. There is a fireplace in the room, but again, off or on to control the minimal heat. Best thing is the location. But you have to try to sleep sooner or later and their rooms are not conducive for a decent night's sleep. After giving the place two tries, we will not be back. I am giving it 2 stars due to the location being desirable.
