Hotel Tres

"Who knew that Scandinavian design could look so terrific under the full-strength Mediterranean sun? The clean, modern decor of this 41-room Swedish-owned hotel in the Old Town of Palma de Mallorca stands up to major rays, thanks to dark-blond streamlined furniture, ponyskin-covered ottomans, mocha-limestone bathrooms, and a sublime rooftop terrace with teak decking, a plunge pool, chaise longues, and drop-dead views of Palma’s cathedral. Thoughtful details include heated towel holders, a tasty room-service menu, a superb breakfast buffet, a sauna, and a bar/lounge with books. The stylish multilingual staff are charming, and the location on a quiet pedestrian street is perfect."

I defy anyone to find a more central hotel in Palma. The rooftop area has a stunning view over the cathedral which is even better at night.|We checked in early which was great and the room overlooked the courtyard. It was a good size and had a moveable table over the bed which was a great idea. Plenty of space in the bathroom and great power showers. Lots and lots of storage space too and it was Immaculately clean. |What let this hotel down was the breakfast. It’s in a very small area so can get quite clogged. We had asked for gluten free bread but this never appeared. We took our own. Nice to dry the different smoothies but the juices were pre-made in plastic sachets!|And very challenging getting hot water for tea. |There is a pool on the rooftop which is no bigger than a bath and a few sunbeds.|There are so many restaurants within a minute walk that you don’t need to go far.|All in all excellent location and would highly recommend this for a central Palma stay.

Overall, this is a lovely hotel in a fabulous location and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. It’s a very historic building, gorgeous courtyard and the bonus of having a pool and terrace on the roof is brilliant. The room had everything we needed for our trip, it was clean, bed was comfy, room size good, bathroom and shower really good, nothing I could complain about. Could the room do with a little bit updating? Possibly. But, nothing that would stop me from returning. Staff were attentive and lovely, and the breakfast was delicious when we had it. I would definitely recommend and as I said would definitely return and most probably will next year.

This is a very nice hotel and it is located one minute from a wide selection of the best restaurants and bars. Also close to the sea and shopping.||||The hotel had very good service and a wonderful breakfast. The pool area looks better on photo than in real life and our room was a bit dark with only one window but this wasn’t a big thing for us. ||||We would really like to come back for another visit in the future.

Location wise this could not be better, with the cathedral, waterfront, numerous restaurants and high end shops literally just outside ||We had Room 305, in the rear part of the Hotel overlooking the courtyard, which has plenty of seating and a superb bar service ||The room itself was large, comfortable, clean and reflective of the Scandinavian influence. Plenty of storage and hanging space, a safe and good bathroom facilities. I can understand why those being open to the room (well, glass doors and curtains) might strike some as unusual, but certainly practical and. O concern for us||All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet choice exceptional, with juices, coffee, meats and cheeses, pastries, fruit and even a number of hot options ||At night the restaurant next door (not connected to the Hotel) could be noisy up to midnight, but then this is a city centre location with vibrant streets around it||Thank you to all at Hotel Trea for a lovely 6 night stay

I’m leaving this hotel extremely upset. They charged me $366 for 2 bags of laundry (the second one was barely halfway full!!) This is straight robbery. And the guy at the front desk never said for me not to do laundry due to the insane cost. I’m aware the rates were there but you don’t realize how much it adds up, plus I added items that did not have a cost next to it. If I worked there i’d be discouraging guest from that laundry service and telling them about other affordable options, but they just smile and say sure we have laundry. Not to mention- the laundry service burned holes in all of my underwear!! Just left such a bad taste in my mouth. Also, there’s a kid who works there who’s super rude and unfriendly with attitude. I told him he seemed stressed and he said it’s because he’s sick then he proceeded to cough and sneeze, not wash his hands, then hand me a water bottle. After this, I noticed he was working in the kitchen every morning continuing to sneeze and cough without covering his mouth or washing his hands after. Don’t have employees come to work just to get the guests sick and then they’re also in a bad mood because of it. That’s not how you operate in hospitality. By the way, i’ve never left a bad review for a hotel but I had to say something. The hotel is beautiful, in the perfect location, and most of the service was great, but unfortunately these few things ruined my overall experience at this hotel.

“What a lovely little gem of a hotel in the heart of Palma Old Town. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the air-conditioned rooms were a welcome relief during a Majorcan heatwave. Breakfast was very nice, with a good selection available. I only wish we had stayed longer!

The hotel is in a great location, very central and close to everything (attractions and sea). Breakfast was really nice with a lot of choice particularly for a sweet tooth like me! The room was disappointing, I would not think it’s from a 4* hotel, rather a 3*, as it was dark and tiny. So I would recommend to get a room that is at least one level up from the standard, as all the standard rooms overlook a very tiny and narrow and dark patio. They have a nice little sauna on the terrace which has a great view on the cathedral. Staff was very kind and helpful.

A hidden gem of a hotel hidden away in the bustling streets of Palma. We stayed two nights.||The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Would definitely stay again.
