Google
Really friendly service, comfy seating, and for the main event- absolutely delicious food! I was expecting good poutine, but this was a step above; the beef gravy is outstanding with lots of flavor. We also had a peach salad, and the dressing with the Burrata was delicious. We picked two desserts- a Golden Grahams/smores bar that was better than any damn smore I’ve ever had, and a peanut butter bar that tasted like A wonderful peanut butter/Fluff treat. So yummy. We will return.

Google
Charming casual dining, brick walls and huge warehouse windows, pink velvet seating! And great decor, love that wallpaper, fresh flowers in pretty little glass bottles, great service, great music, good food and drinks. A gem.

Google
A beautiful and pleasant place with a modern design. Perfect for a girly get-together. Everything is in pink pastel colors. The service was disappointing, the cashier smiled with difficulty and it seemed like he didn't like his job. The food was a delicious sandwich, but the French fries were terribly overcooked.

Google
Best poutine in the area for sure. Yummy gravy over crispy fries. Both the ginger soda and lemon and lavender soda were really good. We tried their dessert as well, really like the tart and lemon bars. Lemon bars were a bit over sweet though. Pretty decor inside and very friendly staff. Can be a little crowded on Saturdays. Have both the options to either take out or dine in.

Google
The cutest hidden gem I've visited in a very long time! The atmosphere here is superb and the food is outstanding! My party and I were absolutely blown away by the flavors and very well executed food! It was tasty and craveable! The food is flavorful poutine perfection!

Google
Having a European background, this place definitely make me feel like I was in France or Belgium. It feels posh but really, it's warm and welcoming. The food is exactly the same as their food truck offers, except you have more choice. The poutine itself is definitely comfort food, and the fries would make any Belgian proud. The twist with the cheese curds on top is one this Belgian is taking home!

Google
Absolutely AMAZING place!!! Not only is the decor super cute, the people working there are very inviting and friendly. The food was so good (I’ve gone to Canada recently and Petit Poutine’s food was far better than several of the places I ordered poutine from, hats off to them!!). We did the poutine float and tried the lentil curry, the hamburger, and the pulled pork, and each one of them so was delicious. The lentil curry had an authentic curry taste and was very savory. The hamburger with the lettuce provided an extra crunch that was very pleasant. The pulled pork was so darn good that I would order a tub of it just for myself. The Brussel sprouts have ruined Brussel sprouts for me as I can never turn them into something so delicious and flavorful. And if you have a chance, their drinks are delicious. I tried the lavender one they had and it was very smooth but light. My fiancé ordered the ginger and if you like the taste of REAL ginger, then you’ll love it! Thank you guys so much for the amazing meal!!!

Google
Found this place on a whim absolutely stunning experience! I honestly don't know which one I like better the food or the decor are both exceeded my expectations! Lavender soda and fried green tomatoes are my highest recommendation!!! They even give you cotten candy on your way out - what a dream!!!

Yelp
Petit Poutinerie holds the honor of being the only restaurant I'll order a soda at. They make their flavored syrups in-house, mixed with tonic water and served to-order. The drinks are light, refreshing, and a wonderful balance for the hearty portions of poutine. The poutine is incredibly flavorsome and fresh. The fries are crispy and cooked through, both not too crunchy and not too mushy while standing up perfectly to the fresh, creamy cheese curds and delicious gravy. My first time I ordered the butter chicken poutine special, and was floored by the innovative approach to one of my favorite foods. Their traditional gravy is not by any means "boring" or "basic" just because it's traditional; every bite bursts with savory gravy and fresh time. The restaurant is frequently busy, but it's not a hardship to enjoy the ambiance while waiting to order at the counter. In addition to great food, Petit Poutinerie sells funny t-shirts that I have to restrain myself from buying every time. Maybe one day I'll cave and get myself a "hell of a thyme" shirt... I'll certainly have plenty of opportunity to, as we're going to keep on coming back!

Yelp
Great gluten free options! First impression: decor and atmosphere is fantastic and beautiful! Cozy little restaurant with seating for small and larger groups. You order at the counter and the bring the food to the table. When I went, Wednesday evening, the service was friendly and fast. The food: soooo tasty! Almost everything on the menu is gluten free and clearly marked (thank you!!). I ordered the bacon poutine and really enjoyed it. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food and we will be coming back! Parking: plenty of free parking in the lot right I front of the restaurant.

Yelp
First-time here and as a former Rochester native, it did not disappoint. Loved the chicken cutlet sandwich and added a side of barbecue sauce to kick it up a notch.
google avatar

Yelp
I had to pop in and out for a quicky but I'll definitely be back! The atmosphere was chill, and the person at the counter was very nice. And, of course, the poutine was piping hot.

Yelp
This is such a cute place. It's a very casual atmosphere. The workers were friendly and helpful. You order at the counter and then your food is brought out. I LOVE the original poutine. I also tried a salad this time and it was very good. My husband had mini burgers. They needed a little bit more jam or flavoring. His side of fries also needed a bit of gravy. We will go again and try different things.

Yelp
Petit Poutinerie really does not need my review, because, IYKYK, but I'll give it just because, unbelievably, I have heard there are actually people in Rochester who have never been here!! The lovely folks behind this fries/cheese-curd/gravy decadence have been in the game a LLLLOOOONNNNGGG time. Proprietress Liz started this business as a food truck, strategically placed in front of Lux lounge many a weekend night, building clientele and passively addicting Rochesterians to high-quality, fresh-cut fries with local cheese curds, two gravy options and a variety of special toppings. This is where I first came into contact with poutine, which I had never heard of before encountering the truck. Fast forward to a year or so ago, and now there's a proper brick-and-mortar location where you can not only get your fix, but you can also unbutton your hard pants and chow down in comfort without anyone knowing (but really with everyone knowing) you are expanding as you stuff down those last gravy-soaked fries! The menu at the restaurant has also been expanded to include salads, sandwiches, a few desserts, a bar, and some daily specials, and it is all delicious!! My go-to is the vegan and GF poutine and a salad - a great balance of crisp veggies in a bright citrusy dressing which, to me, perfectly compliments the richness of the poutine. The hubby loves their chicken sandwich and the cheeseburger poutine, and though we haven't been there for brunch yet, that's next on our list! Last thing I'll note is that the interior design is fantastic - the pink and green color scheme, with custom wall tiles, velvety upholstery, flower-themed wallpaper and glass-globe flower sconces, plus the modern lighting fixtures, is all so well appointed, it's a feast for your eyes as well as your stomach. Whether you stop in for a drink, a snack, dessert, a meal, a girls night, a date, a party - this is the place to be!

Yelp
The ambiance is light and fun and their staff are all great! I do have to say that I was originally not a fan of poutine until I had the poutine at this restaurant! Wow, it was sooo good. I will definitely be coming back
google avatar

Eli R.

Yelp
I had the Buffalo tofu sandwich and the vegan poutine! The Buffalo Tofu was bangin'! On the poutine the fries and gravy were delicious! The vegan curds were different. I wouldn't go as far as saying they were bad, but I'd definitely say they were different. The service was extremely fast and friendly! Naomi is a rockstar! The atmosphere was fun and unique.

Yelp
I'm very happy Petit Poutinerie has a brick and mortar now! The interior is beautifully decorated and they have a lot of inside and outside seating. I got the traditional beef gravy poutine and it was the same quality as the food truck. The gravy was great and they gave a lot of fries, but I have the same complaint as with the food truck, the ratio of fries to cheese curds is still off. I wish there were more curds more evenly spread out throughout, because I ended up with a bunch of gravy-heavy fries at the end. That being said, they still have great quality poutine and a lot of fun non-traditional flavors.

Yelp
Well, well I FINALLY got to visit the brick and mortar space from the group behind Le Petit Poutine. If you live in the city you've either had tried the poutine at LUX during a late night visit or Brighton's Farmers Market, Food Truck Rodeo at the public market or when they roll down to Parcel 5 or if someone hired them to roll up to your party. You get the drift.... I arrived on a Thursday a little bit after they opened. Why I say that.. read on dear reader, read on. The inside is visually stunning from a interior design point of view. The shades of pink and green and the lux use of a lovely shade of pink velvet for the banquets really makes this place feel special. Than the probably custom made chandeliers and more make this not just sexy but inviting. When you go downstairs two ways to see the menu a QRCode or they have the menu off to the left side. Basically you order, get a number sit down and they bring it to you. I would suggest as my girl Karen S. said add the tip to your purchase as staff is really hustling to get you your stuff. Now when I came in it was just me, I'm also assuming they had online orders going as well cause some people came in later to pick up. No I did not get the shareable poutine I'm saving that for a group visit, it was just me and I figured I needed to slightly refrain from being a glutton! I ordered the meatloaf sandwich, it was toasted Pullman bread with caramelized onions, cheese. It was scrumptious I'd eat the meatloaf on its own, this is not a tiny sandwich and I did not finish it. My husband ate it when I got home and he was like "this is delicious" I got the seasoned fries, basically the fries we know and love prior to being slathered with gravy, cheese and etc. Now this is my gripe...the fries were all broken up I maybe had about 5 honest long fries the rest were like they had been cut down or over fried? Now I like fresh hot fries these were not hot fries at all, it was odd. Some of it was hot the rest lukewarm? I was kind of perplexed cause I did not come in when they were slammed I showed up I'm guessing around 11:15-11:30 am.. I'll have to come back and try them again and I did not wanna be that person to say "excuse me could I have hot fries" considering it was a fairly large bowl it was over $4.00. I understand things cost money and inflation and paying staff. But it would have been nice to have hotter fries. The sandwich was hot and tasty, but dropped the ball on there mainstay the fries. I got a lemon lavender soda and it was quite refreshing and I could have had another one. It was slightly acidic and sparkling. They also have beer and wine too. Service is pleasant and helpful Will I be back, y'a damn skippy. 4 stars outta 5 cause of the fries and also be aware you are paying for quality food. Plenty of parking as there is a shared lot.

Yelp
My husband I came tonight after we couldn't decide on what to cook at home for dinner. When we came in, it was very busy, no free tables. We were told it would be about a 10-15 minute wait and I don't even think we waited a full 10 minutes and we were seated. The place is super cute, with a modern posh boutique feel, just with with fries, gravy, and cheese curds. I wanted to try the poutine flight, you could pick three poutine items on the menu, which I thought was a good idea to get a feel for the different choices. My husband wanted the Bacon Cheeseburger Poutine. Our food came out quickly, everything was hot and fresh. For my flight choices, I got the traditional, curry lentil, and breakfast. All were EXCELLENT! The breakfast poutine had a fired egg on top with beef and bacon gravy. It was everything you could ever want in a breakfast (or breakfast for lunch and dinner). The curry lentil was flavorful and delicious. The traditional was amazing - loved the gravy with fresh thyme! My husband was more than pleased with his Bacon Cheeseburger Poutine, he said he would order it again. All in all, our experience was a good one, and we will be back again! If you like poutine, definitely check this place out!!

Yelp
The décor is so cute and chic. They have a wide selection of poutine. My favorites are original, breakfast and pull pork. We were here last eeek for the Oct Rochester Walk. Their fried cheese curds is crunchy and pair well with the sauce.
google avatar

Yelp
Nice cute place to have brunch. We got pulled pork and breakfast poutine. Their butter tart was awesome. I would come back to try their sandwiches next time. The glasses were dusty on the edge.
google avatar

Yelp
This shop is so cute! Loved the pink ambiance. The food is delicious, whether you prefer sweet or savory you will find something for you. I tried the poutine flight, so many different types to pick from. All the staff was attentive and food came out quickly. Loved it!
google avatar

Courtney M.

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful place! Loved the food, the ambiance and the service. I had the regular poutine with beef gravy and gobbled it up. Delicious! The owner was there and was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful and very happy decor.
google avatar

Olivia B.

Yelp
Had a great experience here! The interior is adorable!! You order at the front register, are given a number, and then take a seat. We got a cider and the poutine flight ($22) We tried the classic, breakfast, and pulled pork poutine. They were all delicious! The food came out quickly and all of the staff was very friendly. I definitely want to come back and try some of their other poutine options.

Annie S.

Yelp
Went for trivia night and ended up loving it. It was cheap and there were gluten and vegan options which was neat since I didn't expect dairy free cheese curds. It's also super cute inside and fun merch if you want. Limited seating tho especially on trivia night so may be best to get reservation next time

Yelp
Let me start by saying I love le petite poutine's food truck. I've never had an issue with them. Since we love them so much, we decided to check out the poutinerie. Staff was very friendly, décor was cute, seats were comfy. The issue I had with my food was it was soooo over salted. Maybe it was a fluke. I'm not sure. We ordered the Brussel sprouts and each got a poutine. My husband and I left slightly dissatisfied. The poutine was on the cold side and over salted. Maybe your visit will be different than ours. ‍
google avatar

Mike M.

Yelp
Wow! I've been enjoying poutine from the food truck for years, so I was excited to go to the restaurant. Not sure what I though it would look like, but I didn't think it would be a gorgeous French bistro with luscious accents like funky light fixtures and very comfortable pink plush seating. Lizzy took wonderful care of us, and was gracious when I asked the same questions everyone must make when they come for the first time. I had the breakfast poutine, with over hard egg and bacon on top of the fries, curds and gravy. Yummy. I can't wait to come back with my family. And Fiz soda!
google avatar

Tammra S.

Yelp
Cute spot. Took my 14 year old son here for his birthday. He's a poutine fanatic. He and I each had the traditional. My husband had the cheeseburger. Everything was so good. Plenty of parking. Limited sit down space inside. I am sure it can get packed when busy. Liked the variety of options of poutine, and was tempted to try the Thanksgiving special, but really wanted the traditional on our first trip. Staff are attentive and so nice. Always makes a significant difference when staff are friendly. We will be back.
google avatar

Quincey H.

Yelp
Not a huge poutine fan generally but this was still good! I got the bacon poutine and my boyfriend got the vegan poutine. The restaurant is very cute! Pink velvet and flower decorations across the restaurant
google avatar

Aimee F.

Yelp
Loved the petit poutinerie! I do love their fries (and they even have vegan poutine) but the last time I went, I got the buffalo tofu sandwich (the host recommended it) and o wow it was great! so crunchy and the bread tasted like salty bread. I would definitely get this again! the atmosphere is great (love the way it is decorated) and the service is fast (you order at the counter and they bring it to you). The drink we got was also good and I hope in the future they will have more alcoholic cocktails (right now they only have one). Overall, love it here!!
google avatar

Savannah B.

Yelp
I was very excited to try out the new brick & mortar after going to the food truck for so many years! It's located inside the old Glen Edith Coffee on Elton Street. I loved the interior. It was so pretty and a nice upgrade from the previous look. I think it would be a cute spot for pictures. I had the Bacon cheeseburger poutine which is ground beef, bacon, cheese sauce, tomato, and lettuce. It was okay, but not worth the $14 price tag. I am excited to go back and try some of the other non-poutine menu items they have added in the future.
google avatar

Grace R.

Yelp
You order at the front and pay ahead of time, and wait for your food at a table. The service is very good and quick, and the poutine was delicious! They are priced around $9-14, and they also serve other entrees, desserts and drinks (+/- alcoholic).
google avatar

Rachel G.

Yelp
Love this place! It's adorable-that's the best way I can describe it.I do t know what I was expecting to see but it wasn't this. From the plush pillowed bench seating to the painted brick wall floral mural to the diner like counter area, this space is so thoughtfully detailed and would be a sweet locale for a date night or a friend night out. The vibe is posh and cozy at the same time. And petit poutine ( you probably have seen one of their food trucks out an about) does this culinary treat very well, either traditional/vegan or a more off beat style (breakfast, cheeseburger, etc) you can't go wrong. Nice little selection of beer/wine/soda. Service is great-you order at the counter and your food is brought to you, along with a nice bottle of water. Staff regularly checked in on us to make sure all was well. Convenient private lot or on street parking. So maybe start your night out here (they close a little early so plan accordingly!)
google avatar

Karen S.

Yelp
I think a few people have done reviews under the business's food truck name-Le Petit Poutine but this is the newer brick and mortar spot at the corner of Elton and Atlantic. I need to start this review by emphasizing that you order at the counter, but I encourage you to add a tip to your credit card at that time or give the staff cash when you leave. I did not realize that the staff would be taking care of us like we were at a full-service restaurant and I want to make others aware. You order at the counter but they bring you your food, check on you and bus your table when you're done. I was glad I added a tip when I paid for my food because the staff works hard and are so nice and friendly! Like really the friendliest! I'm really digging this place! I've loved their food truck for years. The restaurant is very chic and clean inside. The pink decor is super cute. My cousin and I shared a flight of poutine ($22), which you can only get for dine-in and a meatloaf melt ($14). All 3 poutines were phenomenal, of course. We had bacon, sloppy Joe, and Pulled pork. The sloppy Joe was so fun, but they were all chef's kiss. I was most surprised by the meatloaf melt! The bread was nice and thick and crisp and the caramelized onions were a nice touch. Now for the piece de resistance! The BUTTER TART! Get the butter tart!!! It's a mini pie of brown sugar and butter and perhaps a little maple syrup? Just get it! They had 3 other desserts that looked amazing as well.

Roxanne C.

Yelp
Love the atmosphere and the poutine. I also enjoy their sandwiches and desserts. The bar area is cute. Several vegetarian options including the poutine.

Marilynne L.

Yelp
Know what I love about Petit Poutinery? Everything! Staff are always great. Seasonal menu changes are exciting . Salads are creative and colorful. Today's Butternut Squash soup among the best this vegetarian ever had. And the location is right next door! Thank you! Marilynne Studio 34 Creative Arts Center

Yelp
I saw that Chicken French poutine was a weekly special and I knew I had to go this week. It was FANTASTIC! Some of the best French sauce I have ever had. (I think there was cilantro in it, I did not approve lol, so I picked it out.) I was really wishing I had it all to myself instead of sharing with my fam. Sloppy Joe poutine was delicious too, as was pulled pork. We love fried green tomato sandwiches and we weren't disappointed. Super crunchy thick crust, delicious sauce, and our first time trying coconut bacon - it gave it a nice flavor! We got it to go, but would like to go back and eat inside the super cute restaurant.
google avatar

Merissa M.

Yelp
This is an unbelievable jem for Rochester's food scene. Poutine is so delightful and they just crushed the gravy. Their specials are so fun too. Service was above and beyond! Wait staff that had come on during our meal stopped by the table to make sure we were doing well. Ambiance is low key and no pressure to rush out and a really cool vibe.
google avatar

Jeff S.

Yelp
Great brunch choice, especially if you want a fresh spin on the classics! Only place where the fries are crispy all the way to the end! (Even covered in gravy!) Cool vibe & décor. Friendly staff took care of the family with small kids next to us without missing a beat .
google avatar

David S.

Yelp
The poutine is the best in town. Best I've ever had anywhere, even Canada. The interior is like a cafe in a Wes Anderson movie. Great vegetarian and vegan options. Some food that isn't poutine, with the same great execution. Draft beer and draft wine. I felt charmed but mildly uncomfortable during the meal, and definitely full yet a little unsatisfied after. But that's poutine for you, light on protein and veggies. The desserts are fantastic. The entire thing is fantastic. A place to bring a date or a client one-on-one. Quiet, refined, well-lit, hipness 6 out of 5.
google avatar

Cally W.

Yelp
This sweet little place was fabulous! I've always been a fan of their food truck and their new restaurant did not disappoint. Everything my friend and I split was delicious. Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Tiffany P.

Yelp
Such a cute place. I was sad the coffee shop left BUT they upgraded the place nicely. Food was OK. I had the bacon cheeseburger poutine and lemon lavender soda. I wasn't a fan of the food truck, because of the container being hard to eat from and toppings, well, being on top and not distributed throughout. Unfortunately, this wasn't improved on. It was also SUPER SALTY, which all my friends agreed on. BUT the broccoli "meat" was AMAZING on my friend's nachos and I kept stealing nachos instead of eating my poutine. The soda was very good too! I also split a cottage cheese sammie and that was the perfect end to the mediocre meal. Despite the issues, I would be fine with going back. Maybe once or twice a year kinda thing.
google avatar

Makayla H.

Yelp
I've eaten both from their food truck and from their restaurant. Their restaurant is beautiful and everything is so well thought out. We did to-go, so I can't speak to the service. Their poutine is great. I've also had one of their salads, it was delicious but not as big and filling compared to the poutine of course.

Jackie D.

Yelp
Such a beautiful interior and the best food, desserts!!! The staff is very attentive and accommodating.
google avatar

Michael T.

Yelp
This is a wonderful spot. Simple menu but a good variety of poutine. I enjoyed theme curry lentils and no regrets. The place is small and hidden in a new/converted plaza. They have limited bear and wine selections but had the one I wanted. Overall glad I stopped by and would consider another visit. Prices were a bit high than what I would expect. This may be more of the signs of the times.
google avatar

B T.

Yelp
The sit down version of their food truck keeps all the deliciousness with the convenience of a place to sit. Plenty of parking and now I finally have a consistent place to show up at to satisfy my poutine needs. I also tried their bologna sandwich. It was delicious.

Michael L.

Yelp
It just was u satisfying. The menu was unimaginative, and prices did not match the quality of food
google avatar

Kathleen C.

Yelp
Yummy, but very salty. No wait time, which was awesome for a food truck. Portion was very large; I shared it with my mom and we couldn't finish it all.
google avatar

Jess D.

Yelp
Food was amazing, atmosphere was fantastic, the pumpkin bars were the best thing I've ever had, and staff was SO friendly especially to my 4 year old daughter. Highly highly recommend!!! Will definitely be back

Seth E.

Yelp
I was in town with my son for hockey and found Petit Poutinerie online. It's hard to find poutine where we live, so we stop anytime we are somewhere that offers it. This one is by far the best we've had! I'm having a hard time deciding if the food (which again is amazing and incomparable to anywhere else we've been) was better, or the service. We ended up sitting at the bar and talked with one of the owners, Ronnie. She was terrific. My son told her this was one his favorite foods and she gave him a tour of the kitchen and showed him how everything was made (including the fry cutter... which he loved). If you are in town. Stop in. You will NOT regret it!
google avatar

Chris T.

Yelp
The location is beautiful inside with a great esthetic. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. And the food is fantastic. Just the right amount of serving sizes and the flavors are out of this world.

Caroline M.

Yelp
lemon lavendar soda is a 10/10 - light but powerful in the best way??? - first time trying both poutine and fried cheese curds ( i'm from TX) but oh MY GOD - am lactose intolerant :) I don't have a single regret

Emily A.

Yelp
Obsessed. Everything we had was incredible and fast!!! So glad they made a sit-down. Perfect place for brunch

Mary S.

Yelp
Everyone knows these girls make great fries and Gravy so it was no surprise to me that the French onion soup and chicken cutlet sandwich were a 10/10. What did surprise me however was the chic, clean, and comfortable bathroom. I could have hung out in there the whole time staring at the beautiful walls and fresh cut flowers. I can't wait to go back!
