The setting is stunning and very serene and inviting. The gardens of this hotel are really lovely and made to look like a mini jungle, which is a cool , shady relief. Extremely peaceful and relaxing- sometimes to the point that you wish there were a few more people around, just to create a bit of life and atmosphere. ||||The staff are very kind ,and breakfast, with its warm croissants, and tasty omelettes ,good ,although the coffee is a bit watery and needs to be stronger. ||||The hotel appears to be staffed by various youngsters, all very kind, but they don’t speak much English, so it can be difficult to communicate if you want something in particular, or messages do not always get communicated to the appropriate person. For example, we wanted to do a different tour of the temples to the standard ones and despite an exhaustive chat to explain this, our driver seemed surprised on each occasion although he too was extremely accommodating. However,it unsettled us sufficiently to end up organising our own drives to the temple in a tuk- tuk, which actually turned out faster and cheaper. ||||Overall, a good hotel, providing you are happy to follow their suggested routes for temple trips.More||Date of stay: December 2019

We spent 5 day at this hotel and felt very comfortable. |The owner and the Tuk Tuk driver were very helpful and interesting people. |The room was ok, aircon worked well, hot water good, Breakfast sitting on the veranda was great for watching the interesting passing traffic. Ok breakfast food also. ||While it may not technically have all the advertised features it was fantastic value for money and good location.

I liked this place a lot. The staff is helpful to the customers. The hotel has a great decor. The room itself could have been a bit more cosy as it was really simple in design but it's not an issue at all. The green plants, tantalizingly blue swimming pool and the animals cage created an unforgettable experience. The food was also good.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. Clean, spacious room, nice balcony overlooking the pool, the pool was nice and refreshing after a day at the temples. Close to the market and excellent restaurants. The staff was extremely helpful with coordinating our tuk tuk driver for the three days we went to the temples. The only downside was we felt a bit like staff was trying to direct us toward tours we weren't interested in. The free breakfast was excellent, but the dinner we had was overpriced for the quality of the meal. We booked massages at the spa and while they were relaxing, they were not as good as other massages we had on this trip and were slightly overpriced. Overall, we were quite happy with the accommodation and would stay here again.

The hotel is located a convenient and short walk into town. Rooms are adequately equipped and breakfast is also adequate for the price point. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Roth was an especially knowledgeable host and guide, taking us several days for excursions to the temples as well as the floating village. He was also helpful in making dinner reservations and securing tickets for other sites. We so enjoyed our time in Siem Reap that we recommended his guide services to friends and family that made trips to Siem Reap later in the year. Highly recommend Roth as a driver and tour guide.

The hotel is situated in a really beautiful garden with lush green plants and even some pets. The rooms are big and clean but a little bit dark and our bed was quite old. The staff is friendly. However, we were not picked up from the airport as promised and we sometimes had the impression that they pushed their own trips (to the temples etc) a little bit too strongly. Anyway, the hotel is a bit like a green oasis in loud, dusty Siem Reap.

I stayed here for 4 nights and I must admit that I really enjoyed my stay here. First of all it is because of the location of this hotel. 5 min ride to Angkor Wat area. The owner is gem, very friendly, nice and very accommodating. His staff were very helpful and best part he allow me to park my bike inside hotel lobby to ensure safety. I felt like I am at home during my stay here. Apart from facilities and owner, I must also mention about Mr Lors, tuk tuk rider. He is nice and never say cannot or ask for extra fees despite we ask him to bring us out on wee hours. Very reliable rider. I would definately suggest this place to my friends

The Petit Villa is a lovely haven of tranquillity among the bustle of Siem Reap. The jungle vibe is super relaxing. The staff are brilliant and can't do enough to help. I also highly recommend the spa and massage therapist - she was amazing. The breakfast is not the best so if you have time it may be worth venturing outside. Plus most rooms don't come with a mosquito net so it's worth bringing your own or asking for your room to be sprayed nightly. Overall it's a really charming little boutique with great staff, which I'd definitely recommend. Thanks, Petit Villa!
