I'm afraid this restaurant let me down. We were recommended here for the crepes. There were no crepes. Apparently the menu had been redone. :( The service was incredibly slow. It took us about 10 minutes before we even knew who our server was. It took another 10 for her to return after we ordered our coffees. We had to ask for water. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and added fried chicken for $6. My soft poached eggs were soft and medium. The fried chicken - a single piece - was overcooked and hard to cut with a knife. The crust was nicely flavored. The gravy was quite good. I was quite let down by the chicken, though, especially for the price. My wife had the west coast Benedict. The salmon was not as good as we've had at other places. The squash & potatoes were soft and mushy - definitely not crispy. Some seasoning was there but nothing that stood out. When our server came by for payment we didn't get a check. She just told us a total, and we paid. I usually look over the check for errors but couldn't here. The baking looked good, but we didn't order any. I, unfortunately, cannot recommend this location.

GLUTEN FREE BRUNCH YUMMY! I got a great lil Faux skillet (allergic to eggs as well) added chix and had some yummy homemade hot sauce! The hash brown were so fluffy ! Flavor, Service, atmosphere and price was all on point ! Their fresh squeezed OJ was YUM!

Came here with my family, really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and patient. This is the type of place I keep coming back to. Always great experience.

The regular cup of coffee was more expensive than I’ve seen at most restaurants but the mocha was priced just right and pretty delicious. The croissant at the beginning of the meal was absolutely amazing and so tasty perfectly cooked so delicious. The pastries that we took home with us at the end of our visit were pretty expensive but this is a small place. I’m not sure if it’s a chain or notso that could be the reason for the exacerbated price. The black beauty cake was the best so delicious.

It's always a treat to dine at Petite Provence. The food is absolutely amazing, I practicularly enjoy their take on eggs Benedict. Choosing to use croissants instead of classic English muffin makes this one of my all-time favorite versions of eggs Benedict with plenty of homemade hollindaise for every bite . The coffee is wonderful, Bloody Mary's are well balanced, and the staff are always super friendly as well.

One of our favorite local chains for date spots. My wife always gets the Monte Cristo no matter what. I’ve never been disappointed in anything I’ve tried. This time I had the chef’s omelette with potatoes and squash. Prices have increased, but that’s expected with the economy and how much it is to eat out in Portland anyway.

The place was nice, the server was great, the food... ... My wife and I both got the croissant Benedict and both were somehow completely flavorless. My wife got a cup of the French onion soup and it was pretty good and had flavor, but the rest of tasted like water. Even my son's eggs. No idea how. I wish we would've said something to our server but we just paid and left. So expensive ($70 for mom, dad and kiddo) and we didn't even finish half of our breakfast because it's gross to eat something that doesn't taste like anything.

I wanna clarify, our server was not good at all and deserved one Star. She seemed like an angry Southern grandmother serving grandkids she didn’t like. 🥴 However, there was another lady on the floor that continuously came by checking on us, refilling our coffee, refilling our water and asking how everything was going… She was amazing and deserved five stars. other than that, the menu was different than most breakfast places that we’ve gone so that was awesome. We love trying different things and the food was pretty good. The chocolate croissant had barely any chocolate so that was disappointing for the price and the Miriam Berry cheese croissant did not have the glaze topping that most French restaurants seem to have so that was a bit of a letdown as the flavor was not as good as it could have been. However, we will not let these few setbacks prevent us from trying this place once again in the spring so we could dine outside, which looks very inviting and perhaps pet-friendly. So I will update my review if I need to the next time I’m in the area.
