The bouquet they made my mom for her birthday was INCREDIBLE. The delivery driver was considerate and checked in with my family to ensure a smooth delivery, as I sent them from out of state. Would 100% go to them again.

Doesn't respond to messages before booking, can't imagine dealing with an irresponsible company for a wedding.

The flowers I ordered for my grandmother for her birthday were delivered 6 days early. I sent an email to Petra Flowers to let them know about the error in delivery date, but have not heard anything back (it's been 8 days). Then on the date the flowers were supposed to be delivered, I received an automated message saying that the order had been canceled because they attempted delivery but the recipient was not there... very confusing. The flowers were pretty, but customer service was poor (e.g. wrong delivery date, no response to email).

Anniversary flowers ordered, I chose the Florist option of their selection. Fantastic vase bouquet that was stunning. Fabiano artisan chocolates to accompany this delivery for my wife, beyond happy. Thank you for a fantastic arrangement and prompt delivery.

Petra flowers recently went out of their way to help me out. I live in California but wanted to send flowers to my daughter who was going through sorority initiation at Michigan State. The phone communication was wonderful, they even sent me a picture text upon my request. I had to change delivery location last minute and it was never a problem. The flowers turned out gorgeous and my daughter loved them. Thank you so much for your superb service!

We had a family member who was on hospice and we wanted flowers to be delivered as soon as possible. The owner was SO helpful and so sympathetic, he was able to get them arranged and delivered within hours!

Florist Laura did a fabulous job with the flowers for Adrienne and Mitchell's wedding last Saturday. From the beginning, she met with the couple to make sure she understood their 'aesthetic' and kept to it throughout. She created gorgeous bouquets for the bride and bridesmaids, rose petals for the flower girls baskets and lovely greenery for the tables and cake. She also provided lovely tiny succulents that she placed around the lanterns as centerpieces w the greenery and it was stunning. Everything was fresh and colorful and rustic. All delivered on time. I would recommend Petra and Laura for any special event.

This florist is amazing, I live in WA state and was having flowers delivered to my daughter in law in East Lansing MI at MSU, at her office for her birthday. The address I provided was incorrect and every phone number I gave them just wasn't working out. They went above and beyond, kept me in the loop so I knew what was going on, getting back to me every time there was another issue (all caused by me, unfortunately). They ended up going out of there way and delivered them to an entirely different address once I had it and they never charged me for this service.....and the flower bouquet was absolutely gorgeous! I highly recommend them for you floral needs, incredible customer service which is very appreciated! Thank you Petra Flowers for doing such a great job!

I needed emergency flowers for a loved one's surprise surgery and Petra was very happy to assist and prepare a bouquet, which I had picked online from Teleflora, very quickly and even offered to delivery within two hours to me (I chose to run by the shop instead for pick up). Upon arrival, I was dismayed that the bouquest was extremely smaller than what was pictured and contained items that were not shown (although I understand some flowers are seasonal and that had to work with what they had in such short notice). I expressed my concern, and the woman, who I believe may be the owner, was so sweet and offered to change it up immediately at no extra cost. She seemed genuinely interested in making me happy, and that was enough for me. I decided to just stick with what she had made. When I brought the gift to the hospital, I unwrapped the box the vase was placed in and was very embarrassed because the vase was black. It looked like it had been made for a funeral or a goth girl's sixeenth birthday. Here I was trying to bring a cheerful bouquet to a woman who just woke up from a serious spinal surgery... and I felt like the Grim Reaper. I specifically told the florist what the flowers were for, and I feel like someone in that line of business would not pick a black vase for a "Get well soon" gift. Just kind of odd. Overall, I really enjoyed the staff and their eagerness to help, but was not happy with my product.

The staff here are so helpful and friendly. Every time I've needed to either send an arrangement to someone or put one together myself they have been so helpful. I also love their beautiful indoor plants; they are very well taken care-of unlike the ones you see at the grocery stores that are browning or yellowing.

The only way to describe the service that I received is one of a kind generosity. My boyfriend recently moved to Michigan, and I blindly chose Petra Flowers to deliver a plant to him for our anniversary. His schedule is absolutely crazy as he starts grad school, and his building doesn't have a front office or anywhere to tend to deliveries. After Petra struggled to come up with a delivery plan due to his schedule, a kind staff member jumped in her car and delivered the plant on the spot directly to him. He sent me a picture and it is beautiful! I am so grateful for the amazing customer service. I will definitely be using them for future deliveries. Thank you Petra!

Very dishonest. First, they emailed, saying the flowers had been delivered, when they had not. When I called, the woman said they were dissatisfied with the quality of the flowers available, and asked if it would be ok to substitute a different type. I said that was fine. They did then make an honest attempt to deliver the flowers, making a couple of visits to the recipient's house (while she was in the hospital). I gave them her phone number, to schedule the return. She never heard from them. I received a 2nd email, saying the delivery was successfully completed. It was not. She never received anything, and I'm out $60. I gave them 2 stars because they did at least try. However, I got nothing, so they really should refund my money of their own accord. Instead, I need to dispute the charge via Discover.

Absolutely loved my flower arrangement!! I wasn't home when the delivery guy tried delivering and when I called back they re-delivered instantly. Great customer service and very professional designers! Definitely recommend this shop over any others in the Lansing area!

What can I say but I love, love, love this place. My fiancee and I decided to push our wedding up...by five months! (immigration problems...don't ask ;) I pulled a wedding together in 36 hours and I couldn't have done it without Laura at Petra flowers. Even though it was New Year's week, she contacted vendors for my favorite flowers and designed a drop dead gorgeous bouquet and table flowers. Great communication and she put in so much effort which I greatly appreciated. Everything was fresh and beautiful and my little wedding wouldn't have been as lovely as it was without Petra (and Laura!).

After ordering mulitiple arrangements from Petra Flowers I have always been thrilled with the results. Since I am not great at planning this place is great at accomodating my last minute requests to design a spectacular arrangement for an anniversary or to deliver an arrangement to a sick relative in the hospital. Their flowers are of the highest quality and their designers have a terrific eye for detail. You cannot go wrong with a competitively priced arrangement from Petra.

I've used Petra Flowers three times now and every time they go above and beyond! The flowers are 10x more beautiful and hardy than those you buy online, and the workers are very pleasant. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Ordered Valentine's Day flowers for my wife through Teleflora and got stuck with this place. They tried to deliver at 7:30 PM while we were out to dinner. Guy had my phone number in his hand but chose instead to leave without leaving any notice. You DO NOT fail to make a Valentine's Day delivery! They called the next day and asked if anyone would be home to take delivery. I said yes but I won't be paying for them. They delivered a very poor imitation of what was pictured on Teleflora. Over and over they said someone would call me about making this up to me. They never did. There are plenty of good florists in the Lansing area. This one should die on the vine.

I heard this was a great place to order flowers. I ordered over the phone about 4 days ahead of time, giving about 8 examples of arrangements I liked. Spoke to the gal for about 20 minutes. Got a call that my credit card wouldn't go through, played phone tag with their answering system. They must have taken my numbers down wrong, because it finally went through giving them the same information but to a different person. Got to the memorial service; no flowers. Kept looking and waiting. Service started and I glanced in the hallway and there they were - came late and nothing like I asked for. I was very explicit about wanting something bright and happy so they could take them home and use them in their house; and I got the typical funeral flowers with glads sticking up the back - and not one of the glads were open! My company was represented by this arrangement and I am very unhappy with this business.

I decided to upgrade my rating from 2 stars to 3 after successfully receiving my refund, albeit a month and a half later than I would have liked. I spoke with the same gentleman on the phone who helped me with my cancellation before and he was still very courteous and apologetic, so I do appreciate the effort on the part of his customer service. Otherwise we will probably be sticking with local (to us) florists because it obviously makes the most sense!

My husband sent me flowers "just because." This arrangement is the most beautiful arrangement I have ever received. The flowers were fresh and perfectly arranged. I told my husband he can use Petra Flowers any time to send me flowers.

Got a delivery from Petra Flowers right in the middle of graduation time & Mother's Day--it was very nicely done, just a few comments.. I would have given 5 stars except the roses were a touch faded. The rest of the arrangement was lovely and fresh, the delivery guy was nice; the flowers weren't wrapped and the arrangement was slightly asymmetrical, but considering the calendar, well done--better than other places I've used. I will use them in the future.

Honestly this is our #1 place for flowers. My husband loves to surprise me and he will never use any other store !! Very friendly and always go above and beyond !!

I used this flower shop for Valentine's day and the prices were competitive. I had ordered a deluxe bouquet of roses for my girlfriend,which they delivered. The roses were beautiful and have no complaints with the flowers. However the setup I ordered and the setup that was delivered were not the same thing and the price difference was probably $30. I went into the store the following saturday and explained the situation, after some back and forth he offered me a refund or some additional flowers to make up the difference. In all I was very happy with the service and would use again.

I had ordered a bouquet on-line for same day delivery and was pleased at how promptly the order was filled and delivered. The recipient sent me a thank you and picture and I was disappointed that the vase was not even close to what i had ordered. I called to express concerns. The service I received was amazing! Not only did they photograph and send me vase options, they promptly redesigned and exchanged the bouquet. Now that is exceptional customer service!! I was a first-time customer and because of this service, I will be a returning one.

I ordered flowers around 8am, and they were quickly delivered to my sister by 2:00. The bouquet looked even better than the online photo!

I ordered an upgrade floral arrangement for a birthday celebration. I ordered the flowers on September 2nd to provide ample time, with the specific request to deliver the arrangement on September 11. They were delivered on September 4, a week before the requested delivery date and the birthday celebration. Additionally, I have looked on 5 sites for a emil address and could not find one. They certainly had the opportunity (if not the obligation) to provide one, but didn't. Didn't follow instructions and didn't make communications easy or reasonable. Won't use them again.
