The ambiance of the place isn't really my aesthetic. Very modern and chic, which is fine, but not what I was expecting for a place known for their pizza. I also didn't understand the link with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, they were all over the place. Also, I don't know if it was incense or what, but the whole place smelled like perfume and at points was very strong. It was starting to make some of us nauseous and really took away from the experience.
On to the food, the Caprese, burrata and prosciutto, and meatball appetizers were all delicious! The burrata dish was definitely my favorite, but just wish it came with more tomatoes. For pizza, we ordered multiple of the Brusklyn, the margherita with the additional pepperoni, and the Alberto and Alejandro. I love thin crust pizza, and this was good, but to be honest it was too thin in my opinion. More of like a cracker then actual pizza. Nonetheless, the A&A was definitely my favorite. You must love truffle though because that is definitely the main flavor of the pie. However, the Brusklyn was definitely the next best thing. The stracciatella was very creamy and paired perfectly with the hot honey and pepperoni.
Overall, I would go back. The food was good, but definitely on the pricey side, especially for pizza. If it was warmer outside maybe sitting outside would've been the move , but overall I will return when back in Miami.
