Absolutely fantastic wine tasting experience. The walk was informative and gorgeous and a real treat to try the grapes. The wine tasting itself was plentiful, all the wines were excellent and the food was delicious. We felt like friends of Urban by the time we left, and we will definitely be back. Bonus points for a lovely vegetarian offering!

Jacob gave us an amazing wine tasting experience! He offered us a wonderful selection of different wines and explained each one with great knowledge and passion. What made it even more special is that he kindly did it after the winery had already closed. We’re so grateful for his generosity and the memorable moment he created for us. Thank you, Jacob!

The wine tasting was really good. The owner told the history of the winery and the production of different wines.

After reading all the glowing reviews, we were disappointed in this experience. We had booked it a couple months out, as we were only in the area for 1 day. We had reservations , but so did several other groups at the same time, so we felt like it missed a lot because of so many people in the group. We had less than 5 minutes of an introduction to the winery including quick look at the barrel rooms. Then, we did the tasting...14 people squished in their tasting room was tight. The wine was good, but the host seemed to be just going to through the motions and we didn't feel like we got much out of the tasting other than some sips of wine and a nice charcuterie board. Overall, we were disappointed and wish we had booked one of the many different wineries in the area

Great experience tasting an array of local wines and learning all about the history of the area and winery. Our host was lovely. The cheese and meat plate was delicious and generous. Definitely splurge for the bigger tasting!

What an amazing winery! We booked a tasting and tour of the winery from their website. Urban took us through the vineyard and even allowed us to try different grapes from the vine. It was a wonderful, in-depth look at the complexities of the wine making process- and the experience and craft is obvious when you taste the wine! Urban is funny and kind and we had a great experience. Bonus: we took 5 bottles of wine & 3 bottles of brandy home to the US via check-in luggage on Delta Airlines. The wine was boxed & packed by Urban on the spot and it made it home in pristine condition. Highly recommend!

Warning, the town of Slip has narrow streets and can be tight for a 7m camper. Recommend parking in the town square and walk the rest of the way. We had a great experience with Jacob sampling the wines.

Beautiful historic winery. Our server Jakob, was engaging, knowledgeable and personable. Delicious wines and selection of meats and cheeses. Would recommend!
