"In the North Region, we ventured out to Palm Beach Gardens and the PGA National Resort, which underwent a $100-million renovation in 2022. While we’re not golfers, the full redesign of the property’s rooms and suites as well as its 40,000-square-foot spa were calling our names. In our experience, a successful mother-daughter trip is one that includes making memories together as well as fitting in some alone time. The PGA National Resort allows for both. Together, you can get in a game of tennis at the Sports & Racquet Club or dine at Chef Jeremy Ford’s steakhouse, The Butcher’s Club. Apart, you have the option to swim laps in the club’s five-lane saltwater lap pool or appreciate a moment of silence while reading or walking around the resort. To get the best of both worlds, stay in one of the 21 Serena and Lily-designed cottages. Outfitted with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, the stylish, palatial retreats provide just the right amount of quality time mixed with individual privacy." - Travel + Leisure Editors

Highly recommended!! From arrival to departure, the staff made our stay truly exceptional. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely focused on making our experience seamless and enjoyable. A special mention goes to Nickie at The Butcher’s Club. She wasn’t just knowledgeable—she recognized the importance of our special occasion and went out of her way to make the evening feel personal and memorable. Her thoughtful service added a meaningful touch that elevated the entire dinner. At the front desk, Ricard made us feel welcome from the very beginning with a smooth and friendly check-in. Teresa handled our check-out just as professionally—kind, accommodating, and ensuring we left with a great final impression of the resort. Another highlight was how wonderfully the staff engaged with children—always kind, patient, and genuinely caring. It made a big difference and helped our whole family feel comfortable and at ease. The combination of warm hospitality and attention to detail made this stay stand out—we’d happily return.

We just got back from an unforgettable stay at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach, and I can confidently say it was one of the best family vacations we’ve ever had.||||We were there to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday and Father’s Day with three generations—my wife, our 3-year-old son, and both my parents—and every single detail was perfect from start to finish. A huge shoutout to one of my best friends, David Lederkramer, who works at the resort and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was seamless. From helping with our booking to checking in on us throughout the trip, David made sure we had true VIP treatment the entire time.||||The restaurants were phenomenal. We found ourselves returning to Honeybelle for nearly every meal—it’s that good. Incredible food, a warm vibe, and it’s conveniently located right by the pool, which made it a no-brainer for our family. Our dinner at Sushi by Bou was absolutely outrageous. Chef Jordan not only blew us away with his technical skills but also made the evening incredibly fun and interactive, especially with our 3-year-old son, who was totally captivated.||||That was honestly one of the biggest takeaways from this trip—yes, the hotel and amenities are world-class, but it’s the people and culture that truly set this resort apart. The staff made us feel like family. Special thanks to Renee and Elvira at Birdie’s, who had milkshakes waiting for our son every morning to start his day with a smile.||||From the beautiful rooms and world-class golf to the spa treatments (my wife raved about her massage!) and family-friendly vibe, everything exceeded expectations. It was four days of pure joy, relaxation, and connection. My kid had the time of his life—and we’re already talking about when we can go back.||||Thank you, PGA National, for making this such a special and memorable trip for our whole family.

Our stay at the hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch. Amed at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed and taken care of, he was friendly, professional, and truly made a difference in our experience. The amenities were fantastic, everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. Whether relaxing by the pool, enjoying the spa, or grabbing a bite on-site, every detail was just right. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

As a wedding photographer, I've enjoyed working at many venues, and PGA National Resort is one of the standouts. The grounds are immaculate—with stunning architecture, lush greenery, and beautiful natural light that makes every photo feel elevated and timeless. The staff is professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in ensuring each couple's seamless experience. From a photographer’s standpoint, they were accommodating and supportive, making it easy to move through the day without interruption. Whether it's a grand ballroom reception or a more intimate outdoor ceremony, this venue delivers elegance and ease. It is highly recommended for couples looking for a luxury wedding experience. I am looking forward to many more events, weddings, and conferences.

Google
Highly recommend staying here if you are in Palm Beach! The resort is big and is very family friendly. The location is perfect, close to the best restaurants. Spacious rooms with a balcony. Everything was kept very clean and service was friendly. The pool was beautiful with many chairs to sit in around the pool. Definitely staying here again next time we are in town.

Google
The location is truly superb, and the public areas are impeccably maintained.||Overall, I would rate the resort as a solid 4-star property, but it falls short of 5-star standards.||The rooms are adequately sized—comfortable, though not particularly spacious by U.S. standards. Some of the furnishings appear dated and would benefit from refurbishment. The bathroom was functional, but the shower had low water pressure, which affected its usability, not to mention some smells coming out from the WC. Additionally, the balcony chairs were not perfectly clean, which was disappointing for a property of this level.||The on-site restaurants are decent, though very expensive—understandable, perhaps, given the generally upscale area.||Service was inconsistent. On the first day, I requested housekeeping twice while I was out, but unfortunately, no one came, and the room remained unserviced.||The gym is large and well-equipped, but there are noticeable signs of wear and some issues with cleanliness that should be addressed.

Make sure you have money to spend coming here. Bring your own water you have to literally buy everything. Mini fridge in room no microwave. Coffee is not good. Unless you order special drinks. Steak house is amazing 👏 bed was not comfy for me I have back issues. Shower excellent water temp excellent. Pool is nice. I would like there to be an adult only section wjere kids are separate but that's just me. Pool service was not up to par for what we paid but I guess that's how it is. Took forever to get drinks from the bar. Other than that great experience Golf course absolutely beautiful guys had a great time.

I expected more, especially for the location and price. We won't be recommending this hotel to anyone, quite the opposite.||||1) Around 6am we started smelling sewage coming from the bathroom. It was coming from the shower drain. It lasted for several hours. ||||2) Room Service - in all my years of traveling, this was a first. When you order room service, it comes on a cart with plates, silverware and linens. Delivered in a brown bag? Seriously? For $60? Our breakfast came in to go containers with plastic utensils...and no plates, even paper, to eat on. At least it was tasty.||||3) The fridge had no freezer (there are usually small ones inside) It hardly cooled our beverages.||||4) The balcony - the door track and the floor were dirty and stained. The furniture was also dirty and stained.||||5) Shower - there should be a sign warning the mat needs to be used, slip and fall hazard.||||6) Renovation - decor was nice, yet the walls were horrible, gouged and dented in the room.||||7) Hall Carpet - who's decision was it to put salmon color carpet in a high traffic area...stained and worn.||||8) Check-in - not very welcoming, why is there nothing on the wall behind the counter, even a logo? The staff also did not appear to be in uniform and weren't very warm or helpful.||||This hotel should be 4 star +...but unless the level of care and service is addressed, it won't happen. The renovations are nice, yet they are missing the boat is so many areas.

Yelp
The resort was stunning, and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Everyone was incredibly kind and always ready to assist whenever I needed help. They even graciously extended my checkout time.

Yelp
I never imagined myself at a golf course resort, let alone enjoying one. But when two of my close friends decided to host their wedding at the PGA National Resort, I found myself there one weekend among a large group of some of my closest friends. The place is actually a vibe. Okay, the basement corridor where all our rooms were located felt a little outdated, but the rooms themselves were pretty nice. I especially liked the beds and the Miami-themed decor had me feeling like I was in a chic South Beach boutique hotel, which I was just recently at. Flamingo palm tree printed wallpaper and tasteful light fixtures made the place look so fun. On the resort there were multiple bars serving up great cocktails and every amenity under the sun, so I was living my best resort life. The outdoor wedding ceremony was a dream, with palm trees and the most beautiful sunset as the backdrop. The reception indoors was very swanky. I was a little worried about feeling claustrophobic spending an entire weekend on the premises. But between the beautiful surroundings, excellent service (shout out to the amazing concierge desk) and endless activities, I never once felt cooped up. I was giddy the whole time. The hangover breakfast we had at the ground floor restaurant really did the trick. So while I may not know how to golf, now I have experience staying on a golf course. Same thing, right?

Ashley P.

Yelp
Don't take your family here. Avoid avoid avoid . It's not kid friendly at all. As soon as they see a kid they chase you around and harass you to the point that you feel the need to leave to protect your kid from the harassment of old men. We took my kid on the golf course with us. He's two. And he is very well behaved. He sat in the cart until I let him stand behind us while we were putting. I was harassed... not once but three times by the marshals because three older men complained that I would dare take a child with me? I'm sorry... as a member of the golf course... I thought I could come out and play with my family? So long as they are not interfering, or disturbing anyone or slowing play? I'll post the photos of the men that complained. This place is so un kind to kids. If you have a family... run.

Yelp
My wife and I are currently staying in one of the "cottages" at PGA National Resort. While a pleasant setting overlooking water and tennis courts, the overall experience has been far from "Luxurious" as stated on the resort website. The single level attached wall home has a run down, dated feel. Fit and finish of updates are of low quality. The patio "Terrace", table and chairs had not been cleaned in quite some time. I have posted photographs of hair stuck to the back of bathroom door, vanity faucet spout with exposed hole, poor tub caulking and "Terrace" upon arrival. While Folgers coffee is acceptable, it is far from what is expected at a "luxury" resort. We travel quite often for work and pleasure. We understand and accept a few misses/lapses in maintenance and overall quality especially in larger properties but management at this resort has failed miserably.

Yelp
The golf course is very nice, especially The championship, however, the staff Sucks attitudes in the shop you can only Play a certain amount of times with the South fla golf pass because our members Don't like it that's all bs because no one Cares about your member they aren't playing Golf in the summer the course is empty but u Can't play here

Yelp
Last year we had to stay, and it did not go as expected a lot of hiccups. This year Ameer the manager comped our stay to make up for last years bad experience. He really took care of us and made it the best weekend ever!! The resort is beautiful and plenty to do you will never get bored !

Corey G.

Yelp
This hotel is amazing! It is luxurious, clean, great service and so relaxing! I don't even play golf and stayed here and had a great time. It is definitely not cheap but it's a great time. There's also a variety of different activities here as well. The food here is also amazing. If you're looking to stay in this area then this is your hotel. Oh and they also have pickle-ball.

Yelp
The Old Lady is showing her age. The building, doors, and fixtures were worn and dated. Nice bed, nice pillows, clean room. The bathroom was a little clunky and I hate Rain shower heads. Biggest gripe was the Bar. Nice folks, but the "Bartenders" seemed pretty clueless as far as mixology goes. Breakfast was good, though. Overall, overpriced but adequate.

Megan S.

Yelp
I was taken back by the glorious winter wonderland PGA has done with the decorations for the winter. Their pool is phenomenal and cabanas are to die for. The quintessential decorations of palm trees and greenery tricked me into thinking I was in an episode of White Lotus, minus the deaths and creepy call concierge. In fact Jarred at the front desk is so helpful and kind. I felt like I knew him for years. Our children loved running through the halls and eating all of the delicious chicken tenders and fries! They also had more delicious items on their menu for people with a fancier pallet. I highly recommend the diner there, Birdie. The staff was friendly, and their breakfast items are to die for. I cannot wait to visit this resort again and make many memories with my family.

Yelp
My wife and I had a spa day booked for New Year's Eve. Massage appointments were at 2 PM. Please note the time as this is important later. We arrived around noon with hopes of having a light lunch and enjoying the facilities first as we had plans after for the evening. As we checked in we were informed our appointments were at 3 PM which we questioned and were told that is what we booked. Luckily we had our phones and I produced an email that showed 2 PM reservations. Now mistakes happen, but here is where it went from bad to worse. The women at the Desk took my phone to some Manager behind closed doors who you would have thought would have come out by now. She said they were completely booked and couldn't do anything else and handed the phone back. She also DELETED the email confirmation on my phone to try and cover this up. Trust me, we have proof. Then we instructed the person checking us in that we could not do the 3 PM because of schedules. We then tried to find another day (not sure why), to which both the time, treatment and length of the massage were incorrect. We just cancelled everything at that point, so hard for us to review anything else, but why would you if this is how you are treated upon arrival. Please stay away. Being well travelled, the lack of customer care and deception was appalling. It felt like someone more important got slotted over us with no courtesy. Here's to taking your money elsewhere in 2024!

Anders G.

Yelp
The lowest level of service. There was no "manager "on duty. I always try to discuss and solve problemsbut this this time

Maya D.

Yelp
I wish there was an option to give the resort ZERO stars. My husband and I stayed at this resort for a week back in March. On the day we were checking out we dropped our bags off at the front desk at 10am. I arrived back at the hotel valet around 6pm to pick up our bags before our flight, while walking into the hotel glance over and see a woman standing in the valet area wearing my clothing and carrying all of my luggage. After an investigation was done, we come to find out the front desk had given this woman all 3 of my bags without having the correct bag claim ticket. After reaching out to the manager of the hotel multiple times to try to understand how this occurred, we have been left without any answers or even an apology. I have never been so disappointed and disgusted in the way a hotel is managed and operated.

Jefferson M.

Yelp
June 2024: Dropped in to the lobby bar at the PGA National Resort and for a $20 vodka soda here's what I got... decor and ambience like what I perceive a bad episode of Miami Vice would be... stupid, crappy music... unremarkable service with built-in gratuity already on the tab... my recommendation is go to a liquor store, buy a bottle, get some mixers, some fruit, download a couple of episodes of Miami Vice and you will have a far better experience!

Nicolas P.

Yelp
This "5 star hotel" has clueless and rude staff with no customer service or basic social skills. When the hotels fire alarm went off ALL NIGHT our first night staying here the front desk had no answers, or solutions for anyone. The manager could not care enough to show up either. Even worse yet, when the first fire alarm went off and everyone evacuated the building and waited outside, not a single staff or security member bothered to meet us outside or tell us over an intercom that there has been a false alarm, just guests wondering what was going on and waiting for the fire dept. I've had better stays at motel 6.

David S.

Yelp
Do not recommend. Me and my buddies dropped $360 there plus tips and got called in because of bad weather. No raincheck for the remaining holes. Almost half. Overrated. The Honda Classic should move to a better location. This place is living off their name and reputation. Will not return. Too many other options. Course is average but when you consider the cost - nah. Played at nicer places for less than half. Whatever. Lesson learned. Played IBIS a few days ago. Makes this place look like an abandoned public course.

Seema G.

Yelp
I'm using the facilities for their Gym & classes offered at the Gym. The Gym is spacious and well lit. Always sparkling clean & equipped with hand towels, water etc. Every single teacher whether its a dance class or Yoga is well trained & knowledgeable. I enjoy my classes. My hubby is the golfer, his rating for the PGA are different from mine.

Andrew C.

Yelp
PGA National Resort & Spa is a resort in Palm Beach Gardens that I have either lodged for a business event or played golf at one of their five championship 18-hole golf courses. The most popular course is "The Champion", which has hosted the many PGA tournaments and is currently best known as being the host of the PGA Tour's Honda Classic since 2007. The resort is fairly large with over 300 rooms, many restaurants & lounges, conference center, spa, health & racquet club and numerous tennis courts. We played Fazio course with friends and the course and greens were in good shape. The Champion course was being prepared for the upcoming Honda Classic. Overall, they have done a wonderful job maintaining the PGA Resort and I believe that one would very much enjoy the resort experience.

Jeff L.

Yelp
See what I mean about "couldn't care less" in my 4/11/24 review. PGA National GM canned response was addressed to "Ashley", not Jeff L. and I never received a call.

Bryan J.

Yelp
Resort is tired and needs a serious remodel. The rooms contain plastic furniture in the worst colors. Feels like Dean Martin ( in his prime ) might pop up in the outdated bar area. Can't speak to the golf courses yet but it's hard to believe they charge what they do for this much-in-need of a complete makeover resort. Very disappointing

Jennifer G.

Yelp
What a nightmare this place is! I can't believe any of these positive reviews unless it's strictly golf course. Your paying almost $600 a night for an outdated room that is stained and nasty and no ac and bathroom smells like sewage. We told the front desk our bathroom smelled like sewage and the front desk said "oh that's the first I've ever heard that!?" Which if you read reviews no it's not. And "offered"us to move everything we unpacked to move to another room by ourselves. How sweet of them. Offered zero assistance and the lady manager just evil smiled at us the whole time this was going on. So accommodating to let us move all our stuff to another room so we arent staying in a sewage filled smelling room. Next room was so hot and muggy. I asked for a fan they said they don't have fans but sent maintenance up. He was really nice and let us know our ac was indeed not working but they do have fans for the floors they could bring that up. After a couple hours I called back Down to ask about the fan and the girl at front desk very rudely told me once again THEY DO NOT HAVE FANS. I let her know maintenance said they would be bringing us one as she hung up on me. We did receive a fan. So not sure why they are so hostile at the front desk. No coffee maker(only instant coffee) no iron, no microwave! You have to rent that for $15 a day because your not already paying enough !! This place is a joke! You get more from red roof inn then this joke of a place! And I would rather sleep on the streets then red roof inn if that says anything. Don't waste your time or money on this gross outdated bed bug infested place! They ruined our anniversary! And seeing response from the owner they don't care because they know people will keep paying and being disappointed with no repercussions.

Thomas U.

Yelp
Young professional who relocated to the Dunbar Woods community for a job opportunity. Less than year living here and I couldn't be more disappointed. The HOA (POA) lacks leadership and more importantly ethics. my two very well-behaved daughters have been physically harassed by some senile residents of my community to the point where they are afraid to use very the amenities they are entitled to as paying residents. PGA POA has a problem with children and are too afraid of losing money to just outright ban all youth from their communities. Such a lack of ethical integrity and standards should be noted before anyone considers renting or purchasing within the PGA National boundaries. Let alone consider a reservation at the overrated resort and spa.

Tom M.

Yelp
Keep looking, you'll find a better place to stay! We stayed for a long weekend for New Years (2024). My wife picked this place over other hotels because of the large hot tub and the holiday brunch. The bubbles in the hot tub never worked (and no sign, so every new person set the timer), and the New Year's Day brunch was cancelled. The fire alarm went off three times in two days, which may not be their fault, but the second time it stayed on over an hour after the fire department gave the all clear. Good luck sleeping in on New Year's Day with the alarm going off outside your door. The third time it went off, they stopped the sound but the fire alarm lights still flashed. The room doors slammed shut, so every time the neighbors left their room, we were greeted by a slam. There just seemed like a lack of up keep in the rooms. The bathroom door didn't lock- and it looked like it had been broken for a long time (it was broken in the locked position, so they removed the plate in the doorframe). Even walking around the room the floor felt uneven, it went up slightly towards the door. The service at the restaurants was slow- they don't care because the tip is charged automatically. When we checked out, the lady at the desk never asked how the stay was (I was ready to speak my mind), so I guess I'll leave it in a review. I see I am not alone.

Chase B.

Yelp
Still undergoing some renovations in the parking lot area but the hotel , staff , food and golf were all fantastic. Such an awesome layout and hotel design. Didn't get a chance to try the steakhouse as it was closed but the other food options were all really good. Birdies diner sickest golf snack bar/bar/ restaurant ever . Played champion and fazio and they were in relatively great shape for this time of year. Champion course greens were epic. The Front desk guy , I believe Amir? , deserves a promotion. He went above and beyond to provide great service. My only complaint is that the coffee shop doesn't serve brewed coffee, only espresso drinks.

Maria P.

Yelp
I attended a conference recently at the resort and the experience was not what I expected. The staff is clueless and borderline rude. I blame a lack of training. The front desk did not know the hotel layout very well, my keys did not work, under construction in various parts of the property so there was noise, I saw the fire department a few times (not sure what that was about!), limited options for dining, the bar had no food and for some reason some of the seating in the bar was very low to the ground so if you have mobility issues or are tall it is awkward, the bellman who took us to our room refused to wear a mask, ants in my bathroom, no ice, and no room service. My colleague stayed down the street at a Marriott and had better accommodations.

Art D.

Yelp
Overall I had a great experience. I had a great room that was right off the driving range, so I could walk right out my room on the driving range and back to my room no issues. The room was a nice king suit and was very comfortable. I had breakfast every morning and it was prepared very well and tasty. Dinner was excellent. I had a ribeye steak that was mouth watering. As well as spent time at the bar in the lobby both evenings. I played the Champions one day the the Palmer the next. Both course were in great shape and provided one hell of a challenge. The service from the beginning to the end was outstanding. Every person I encountered that worked for the resort was professional and friendly. I would recommend and will visit again.

Rebecca H.

Yelp
Hotel is tired ... not a 5star. Rugs in rooms are dirty. No security .. kids were running up and down the hallway all night... not sure where the parents were? Today 4 or 5 young kids were jumping in the hot tub ‍ I ordered a Baileys on the ROCKS and it was $20! That is absurd! Beware restaurants and bars on property all have a 20% gratuity already on your bill. One last thing I was not impressed with ... 1 person who worked the entire pool area for drinks and food. That will be my last time staying here! Not a fan of this hotel

Lizzie S.

Yelp
Justin gave some of the best service I've ever seen, would recommend the pool bar 10/10 times as Justin and the rest of the pool service was immaculate. Would come back for just Justin any time

Estephany V.

Yelp
I have been here for work purposes for the golf tournament each year. I heard this year over 200,000 people attended this event. It pretty cool for those that enjoy this sport. There's many vip tents throughout which have tables, buffet, and bar. Not sure how much these people pay but alcohol and food are unlimited. Overall its a nice clean place and ewryone is alwaya ao friendly

Rebecca F.

Yelp
We recently stayed here with our two young kids. Jamie at the front desk was wonderful. We shared with her that it was our daughter's 4th birthday and she communicated that to the manager on duty, Nicole. Nicole found us at the pool and welcomed us to PGA and then told us she'd like to give us a complimentary cabana for our stay. The cabana was darling and a good escape from the sunshine and crowd. She came back later with a birthday cake, card and stuffed animal for our daughter. It was beyond gracious. The pool is fantastic for families. We ordered lunch and cocktails and Carlos was our poolside server. He is FANTASTIC. PGA, give this guy a raise! So professional, kind, and accommodating. Pool food and drinks were good - not amazing, but still tasty. We had dinner at The Butcher and Jolynn, the hostess welcomed us so warmly. She was a complete gem. Carlos funnily enough also works there at night and was our server. We were happy to see him. The food and ambiance were fantastic. We cannot wait to go again someday (without kids) to enjoy a lovely and delicious meal. This resort is great for golf, family time and to get away from the crowded beach areas. However, it's not particularly new or glamourous. The service completely blew us away though and we will absolutely be back.

SlapYo M.

Yelp
My wife and I enjoyed a day at the spa. We both had great massages and she also had a facial. Then we had lunch, visited the salt water pools and soaked in the Dead Sea for a couple hours, then grabbed a light dinner. It was absolutely gorgeous. What a treat. We'll be back

Zak H.

Yelp
So disappointed on the total and utter mismanagement of this hotel under renovation. You would have thought that they got demolished by a hurricane and had to throw together a quick plan on how to manage through construction. Terrible experience from short staffing, no follow up on requests/communication, cleanliness, lack of amenities, etc. Will never give them another dollar and would recommend to all to avoid this place at all costs.

T D.

Yelp
The resort itself is quite beautiful due to the recent remodel. Unfortunately one their front office staff--one particular person was exceedingly rude. She should of been fired on the spot. Sam, the manager, who took over for her, was kind and apologetic. The rest of the staff were very good. My Spa massage by Toby was fantastic. The Butcher's restaurant was excellent and the waiter Carlos was wonderful. As for the golf, the Palmer golf course seemed fine although we could only play three holes because it was very cold that day; not the resort's fault. The driving range was large and good as it was on real grass, but they should of had balls already set out. Overall it was a good experience although quite expensive. It is probably worth it for good golfers.

Geoffrey H.

Yelp
STAY AWAY!!!! If you belong to a private course or even frequent a nice local public course you will be deeply disappointed in a visit here. It is a complete RIP-OFF. All the facilities are in disrepair or under construction... including the golf courses. You will be happier and get a better value by staying at a Motel 6 and playing at a $40 Muni course. Golf shop, starters and assistants do not warn you of terrible conditions, horrendous slow play - they seemed embarrassed... after the fact. Restaurant and bar folks are nice and attentive however, why spend money flying to a "resort" just to stay and play at a dump for meals and drinks you can get anywhere. Management non-responsive.

Michael J.

Yelp
I'm simply sharing this so my fellow golf lovers avoid a disappointing experience. To begin with, nobody greeted us or took our clubs when we arrived (we had to take the clubs to the carts). The golf course itself (we played the Champions) was in very poor condition, and the course itself is quite the let down (very resort style). Lastly, the cottages you stay in are very outdated and old. In perspective, we played TPC Sawgrass the day before and their stay and play package was cheaper. The experience there was night and day, and one of the best courses and experience I've been a part of (I've played some great courses around the world). In conclusion, avoid paying the price here of approx $610 USD, it's not worth it.

Yelp
Great hotel! Beautiful grounds, awesome rooms, nice restaurants. Relaxing to sit by the palm trees or get a bite at one of the grills or cafes. I didn't personally play on the courses, but they looked like fun (I wish I golfed enough to appreciate it). Ask for Giselle at the desk. She was awesome and really did her best to accommodate us!

Yelp
Had an excellent stay at the PGA National Resort and Spa this past week. Check in with Kristina was great. She was so courteous, quick, informative on the property and area, and super friendly. My interactions with the Restaurant, Bar (Matthew), and Banquet teams was superb as well. All very gracious, friendly, helpful and accommodating. My Housekeeping Rep in particular, Vanessa, was so incredible. She was so helpful, friendly, accommodating, and just over the top pleasant. I read some of the previous reviews and again am surprised (but not really) by people's lack. I found this Resort to be filled with great people, in an excellent location, safe as any other Resort, beautiful grounds, comfortable rooms, plenty of amenities, all-in-all everything I would want or dream of. Thank you PGA National for a great stay and please thank all your staff I came in contact with! All very customer driven!

Yelp
What an uncomfortable horrible pedicure chair!!!! It's too high, doesn't slide, doesn't massage. My back was KILLING me as I tried to endure and wrap this up ASAP. Iryna was good with the actual nail service although not accommodating with this horrible set up...nothing for heels. Dry feet. The nails look nice at least - not her fault the chairs don't work & are horrible. Never have I been this uncomfortable in any spa or salon service. Awkward & my back and neck are killing. I needed a drink. It LOOKS like a great facility. Desperately in need of massage afterwards. Maybe that's the tactic. Not impressed.

Yelp
It appears run down and I wonder how clean it is as up keep is poor. They close down the pool bar starting at 4pm, and shuttered by 4:30pm yet they say pool area open till 6pm. No towel man, no service unless you want to wait 2hours. They get 18% tip so they don't care if you "do it yourself"! They have plants growing on their dirty roof, I've had to clean the bugs out of the pool myself. Geese pooped all over the island and we had to swim around it. Better get out by 4p, all employees ready to leave by 4pm. Not luxurious by any standards, had two treatment pedicure and massage. Now I'm sick, is it their lack of cleanliness or the geese?‍

Yelp
Two reasons to come here - for the golf or for business meeting/convention. We visited for a golf weekend. It is a huge facility large groups continually coming and going. The main lobby is huge with bar in middle and numerous restaurants off to the side. If you have ever been to the Doral resort in Miami (before it was upgraded by Trump), this is similar. 90's style decor is a little dated. Could use updating to bring current and get rid of buckled carpet in hallways, etc. We had a large room with 10' ceiling with a walk in closet, you don't see that often. Plenty of room. Don't get a room near the outdoor pool patio by lobby. On Friday night of our stay there was a party that lasted past midnight. People were literally yelling and screaming for hours like a pep rally. Could not get any sleep until 12:30 pm. 90 holes of golf. The Fazio is the best course to play other than without paying an up charge to play the Champion course.

Yelp
Visited the resort for National Sales Meetings with a crew of 250+. I have to say that the staff and the resort itself were fabulous. There was not one individual from grounds keeping to housekeeping to front desk or restaurant, that didn't greet you with genuine kindness. Really a group of top notch, hospitable people. The service from each department was spectacular, too. The resort is expertly kept and the grounds crew even cheered us on in our annual 5k. They respected our course along the PGA golf cart track and were very mindful of where they began their day along our path. I took some photos of the beautiful pool one morning and the gentlemen pruning the palm trees started a friendly conversation with me. My room was a double bed suite facing the PGA pond on the left side of the pool. It faced away from the sunrise but allowed a lovely morning glow to peek through the shear curtain as I prepared for the day. The soaps and lotions were hung on the walls in pump bottles but smelled lovely and were a notch above the typical hotel soap. Not a bad way to spend 4 nights away for a weekend of work. We didn't get to enjoy most of the resorts amenities but it was still nice to see the sunshine after many weeks of rain, at home.

Yelp
Will never go back here. Definitely a case of Not getting what u pay for. Played Fazio, Champ and Estate. Do not play Estate. It's just a course they sent golfers to lighten the load at the resort. There is No F&B and no warning greens we're not playable. Three ppl were the only staff there. It showed. $53 for six pack. Even bud light. Lol.

Yelp
Just checked out from a single night staycation at the Resort. Junior suite was nicely updated, but definitely lacking in some areas - Very poor water pressure, found a dirty q-tip on bathroom floor. Was disappointed that there was no room service and front desk was not very helpful. Options for grab & go food (esp. breakfast) are limited. I got a good rate on the room, but would have been more unhappy had I paid more. It was adequate, but definitely not the luxurious experience I had hoped for...

Yelp
I don't know how credible this review will be since I'm an ex employee so take my words with a grain of salt but this establishment is grossly overhyped and horrible. The managers and the staff were rude and snobbish. The gift shop had ridiculously overpriced merchandise, If you like golf and tiger woods (I question your judgment on that one ) then this place is right for you! Other than that you're better off going someplace else

Yelp
Here for an event so I didn't play the golf course this trip but have played it in the past. This will be for grounds and main hotel only 1st off Covid 19 had us with no place to get a drink or limited eating from the grab and carry Bar 91 or their "Pronto" fast food in lobby. Staff was limited as were patrons on property. Very well maintained lobby, conference rooms, plenty of parking though valet was not available during these times. Rooms were Ok bathrooms a bit dated while their AC system ran too much and the way they had draft aimed at the beds made me catch a cold. Biggest complaint is the WAY WAY WAY too soft bed which just about put me in traction. .. Also they put the Chair by the TV so yes you can look out at 1/2 the golf course but you can't look at the TV? .. Poor design. Was nice resort but would not be running back there anytime soon.

Yelp
Do yourself a favor and hope you don't need water at night. We called the front desk and Mark answered. We asked for water and he responds no. I ask is there anywhere we can find water and his response was do you have cup and a sink? All I wanted was a bottle of water but that seems to be out of Mark's capacity as "hotels don't have water bottles". Avoid at all costs!

Yelp
Absolutely appalled with the service we received here. We called to ask for water. Mark at the front desk told us to use the cups to drink sink water. We asked if we can get water bottles and he replied "do you want me to send someone to fan you?" I couldn't believe the disrespect especially for a basic ask like water. Better off staying at a motel.

Yelp
We absolutely love coming here! Recently, I had my daughter's sweet 16 spa day here. We had seven girls with massages, facials, pedicures, lunch by the pool and lots of relaxation. The group coordinator Kaitlyn, was amazing to work with. She helped me through every step of the way. I've actually recently just set up my cousin's 40th birthday here too! I've done several girls days out just for fun and always get great service and accommodating conditions. The pools of the world are amazing. But bring an old bathing suit because some of them can damage the coloring. Lunch by the pool is healthy and delicious. They recently renovated and it's absolutely beautiful inside and out. One of my pictures of the inside of the locker room, one of my pictures is outside by the pool, and one of my pictures is the inside reception are.

Yelp
Visited in a late July short business trip. Great property. Rooms show signs of age. Bathrooms in particular are ready for a redo. Found a stain on sheet, but no big deal - checked in early. Housekeeping took care of. Notwithstanding this one small hiccup, rest of room was clean. They seem to frequently offer packages in the summer time. Mine (for just $5 over the lowest rate) included (1) greens fee + had to pay $35 for cart, (2) breakfast buffet included downstairs, and (3) Free WiFi, and (4) Two drink tickets (they even allowed me to get McAllan!). However I did think it was odd that the 18% auto gratuity was added to drinks. I guess they must have had some problems with the touristas) Staff was courteous in all my interactions. This really is an A type- property. The pool (though I never went out there) was bustling and crowded on my one evening there. Restaurant - Iron & Wine - was very slow that evening. No matter - I have Yelp to help me find the local spots! (See here- https://www.yelp.com/biz/captain-charlies-reef-grill-juno-beach) Instead - I was there for golf, starting at 4:00 as soon as the day's work was done. Unfortunately they had a huge junior tournament. The only course available was the "Squire." It is the shorter of the courses. Not that my game needed any longer -- classic Florida golf. Lots of water, impeccable greens, sandy traps. Believe me, I utilized all those areas. Would pay $50-60 for Squire *including the cart. But obviously the "Classic" is their crown jewel. Tip: Self parking is Free! Though the valets were helpful, I'm not going to pay $20 will nilly! Cliffs: beautiful property; don't pay retail for the golf; courteous staff. Would return.
