Pretty cool place, but not the cheapest. It costs €5 just to go upstairs, but the view makes up for it — you get a full panoramic view of Biarritz. The stairs are quite steep, so it's not ideal for anyone who struggles with regular steps. I'm almost 2 meters tall, and everything felt really low, so be careful when walking around — mind your head!

Beautiful spot. Great place to watch the sunset. Fantastic cafe bar here for drinks, spritz selection, coffee etc. As well as bites to eat. Spotted people having oysters and all sorts.

Timings change with season. Please check closing time if you intend to climb up the light house. Around 250 steps

I would say worth it, at its current price of 5 euro per person… nice views. 248 steps up I believe so a bit of excersise.

So relaxing watching the tides from above. There is no elevator going on top, it's around 284 steps up. 😍

This lighthouse is located on top of cliffs close to Biarritz. The area is secure, clean, organised and parking (if you're lucky to get a spot) is free. The views over the coast are amazing, we could see far across the Spanish border. This is definitely a good place for a break or a little stroll.

Good place to see the view and have some rest. Haven’t visited the Phare inside, because of the long waiting time.

The lighthouse is gorgeous and can be seen from most the area. Staggering height and over 200+ stairs if you’re ready for a workout. Personally, I was pleased admiring it from the ground this time… Great spot to enjoy views of the Bay of Biscay and billionaire real estate monuments along the coast. I’m told the cliffs are t expected t hold on for much longer before collapsing into the seas. 😇
