This is undoubtedly one of the main attractions in Biarritz. The entrance fee of 5 euros should be acceptable as a touristic place. There is no lift so you have to climb up to the top by stairs. It took roughly 10 min for me. The view from the top was fantastic. If the weather is fine, it’s worth giving it a try.

Iconic Phare of Biarritz This is a landmark building overlooking the sea. It is really beautiful both by nigh and by day. My pictures are from the beach of Anglet. Non photoshopped, so these are some of the real colours. Just amazing.

Pretty cool place, but not the cheapest. It costs €5 just to go upstairs, but the view makes up for it — you get a full panoramic view of Biarritz. The stairs are quite steep, so it's not ideal for anyone who struggles with regular steps. I'm almost 2 meters tall, and everything felt really low, so be careful when walking around — mind your head!

Beautiful spot. Great place to watch the sunset. Fantastic cafe bar here for drinks, spritz selection, coffee etc. As well as bites to eat. Spotted people having oysters and all sorts.

Timings change with season. Please check closing time if you intend to climb up the light house. Around 250 steps

So relaxing watching the tides from above. There is no elevator going on top, it's around 284 steps up. 😍

The lighthouse is gorgeous and can be seen from most the area. Staggering height and over 200+ stairs if you’re ready for a workout. Personally, I was pleased admiring it from the ground this time… Great spot to enjoy views of the Bay of Biscay and billionaire real estate monuments along the coast. I’m told the cliffs are t expected t hold on for much longer before collapsing into the seas. 😇
