Phare des Mamelles is a restaurant where we enjoyed a delightful meal. The prices are a bit high, but they are understandable given the prime location. Sometimes it took a while to get their attention, but overall, they were pleasant and helpful. Getting to the restaurant is an adventure in itself. You can either walk up or take a shuttle bus provided by the restaurant. Once at the top, the panoramic view of the city is breathtaking and worth the journey. The food was well-prepared and delicious, with a variety of options to satisfy different tastes. The ambiance of the restaurant, combined with the view, makes it a special place for a meal. We came here because our guide told us it's a very nice place and a great way to spend an evening. We made reservations in advance and were told that you park at the bottom and take a shuttle to the top. It all worked out fine and they had a band playing which was fun and entertaining. The wine and food were good. We ordered the risotto and a fish dish. The fish was excellent and was accompanied by an onion salad, plantains and a sauce. They all went together really nicely. The risotto was pretty good as well. We enjoyed our time here and it's a nice place to come for a special occasion. I'd recommend getting there a little earlier to watch the sunset. Also, keep in mind that you're also paying for the view and the vibe!

Great at night, with the ambiance, lights, sunset and band! Ordered jumbo shrimps and tarte tatin, and bouye juice yums!

Beautiful atmosphere. The setting is so exotic. The lighthouse tour is a must do as it is so enlightening. Funfact the light from this light house beams to a radius of up to plus or minus 50km. Impressive... We visited at sunset and it can get quite windy and chilly so dress appropriately. The restaurant does offer some warm blankets as you dine. It is inclined towards more of an Arabic quisine l would say

Was told this is the fancy place in Dakar. It got a very nice scenery and overlooks ngor and the surrounding districts. It's just next to the monument and if you're lucky you'll get a nice sunset. Buses are available but a good walk is also nice. Please reserve before as it can get fully booked quickly. Can also get cold depending on the season but blankets are available. Food is nice. A bit expensive but the portions are generous. Card payment is allowed. Toilets are available and clean. Live music is available on specific days and there are theme nights. Nice place for a romantic moment or dinner between colleagues or friends. Parking is available below for clients. It's secure. The personnel are very courteous and helpful. The menu is quite varied. And as always nice sea food. You even have a buffet if I'm not wrong. Smoking is allowed and you can get tables inside or outside.

Amazing atmosphere and view. Well worth the trip! I also like how they do not allow people to drive up by themselves. The shuttle bus guarantees more safety on the route up and down. The restaurant and lounge gets really busy so booking a table in a good idea. The food is good and the waiters are friendly. Because of the large numbers, you might want to go grab a server before they miss you.

This restaurant is incredible! Such a beautiful view and a cool vibe. They had 2 vegetarian friendly dishes that looked good (an Asian meal with tofu or veggie risotto which I got a loved). Really good drinks and THE MUSIC. I knew they had live music, but I was not expecting a full on show. Highly recommend!
