This is an ABSOLUTE must when in Battambang. The phare “campus” is packed with great energy and the show just keeps delivering. Get into the tent around 18:45-18:50 and get some education on phare and why and how it all started, and why there’s a giant Guinness sign in the campus. And please leave a donation at the end. Tips: Drinks from the cafe can be brought into the show, and since it will be warm it is nice to hydrate a little. Many hotels sell tickets/vouchers, saves you from cash payments and just add to the hotel bill They sell shirts, drawing, paintings and lots more that help support the cause Tips = donation And to all volunteers, thank you!

This was a wonderful acrobatic circus experience put on by students of the arts academy. Our family greatly enjoyed the skill displayed, the paintings and drawings, and found some nice gifts in their shop also.

Had a great time seeing the students perform in the big top. The campus is beautiful and I loved seeing the exhibit before the show and learning about the programs the students are involved in. The students are so professional and the 'Rouge' so was incredibly moving. This is a must do evening if you are visiting Battambang!

Phare, the Cambodia circus. Great show, friendly staff. All the students there are really talented. Each month have their own schedule show. FYI: no plastic allowed in the place.

Great performance by the students of Phare circus. Even though their moves/stunts are not always perfect but their effort and determination are admirable. You can also book for a school tour in the day and come see the show in the evening at 7pm. It’s a great way to support these kids so that they can have good education and learn a skills which they can make a living.

Watched both siem reap circus(by professional graduates) and batambong circus(by undergraduate). Batambang Circus; performers make mistakes on stage, but the audience love the entertainment. Performers will make the show comical and very candid about it. Love it! The instruments are made of pipes, Slippers, pot and pans. So creative! If you want a PERFECT performance, don't go. Bare in mind performers are taught with limited resources and from difficult situations. Support the circus school which provide Free education and a livelihood skills to the community.

My partner and I had an incredible time visiting the school and watching the show. I was brought to tears by how moved I was by each and every single one of the student’s performances. We watched Rouge on 3/11 at 7PM - so so powerful. The price is more than justified, and if you have a problem with it as a tourist - no one is forcing you to go. It is wild to me to see poor ratings, as this was by far one of the most meaningful things I have had the honor to witness and experience in my life. Art changes lives, and you can feel it from the stage. Watching them learn and grow on the stage truly was so special. Something to think about: the price AND tourists paying more than locals is absolutely reasonable. If you can afford to fly your a** to Cambodia from another country, you can afford to pay the price for this ticket.

Superb performance by those young students. Not only their skills are amazing, so is their enthusiasm and camaraderie. Don’t hesitate if you find it a bit expensive, the show is well worth it and it gives the youth a place to belong and a future.
