Phen's Restaurant Bar & Coffee

During our 12 night holiday, we ended up eating dinner here 4 times. The food was simply so fresh and delicious that we kept coming back. You can sit right on the beach and enjoy the breeze from the sea. Service was swift and prompt and prices were really cheap, especially taking the quality of the food into consideration. HIGHLY recommended!

Food: Reasonably priced and generous portions Service: Exceptional Atmosphere: Great spot for sunset, but the monsoon rain came a little too soon. They did not treat me a solo traveller (in transit) any lesser. Attentive and jovial all the time. Usually restaurants tend to ignore solo traveller, giving them bad spots and forgetting them altogether. Had Pad Thai Prawns, a mojito and a banana pancake for 490 THB. Food tastes a reasonable 4 for a semi Thai like me.

Looks modern when you enter. They lead you to the beach where the tables are situated. The menu has so many items to choose from. I didn't try the Thai food as I've been here long enough. The hamburger I had was ok, nothing exciting. Ambience is awesome and a great sunset view awaits...

Nice place on the beach but can eat inside with open sides as well that was perfect. Liked the Thai food, just the BBQ chicken was a bit bland and sauce not very nice The service was good and pricing reasonable, would recommend and will come again. Thank you.

Some vegetarian/vegan options but they seem able to cater so def try speaking with them to check what they can do even if it's not in the menu

Lovely spot for a bite to eat and some drinks by the beach before we flew home, could easily of spent more time there, friendly staff, nice spot

Brilliant restaurant - we ate here based on reading about it in the Lonely Planet Phuket guide book and it didn’t disappoint. The Thai local dishes were very spicy, and the whole grilled fish was absolutely amazing, so tasty in the Thai red sauce. The staff were friendly and the restaurant is in a great location right on the beach. Unfortunately I don’t think we will have time to come back, but we had a really good meal here and I would recommend this restaurant. The menu was very extensive with plenty of options.

Don’t understand why people think the food here is good. The food was very mid, edible, bad presentation and not very delicious (you should go visit Phuket town and try the food there). And there’s little to NO service provided. There were so many staffs hanging around not doing anything around the kitchen area. We waived and said “excuse me” to 3 different staffs (all in purple uniforms) who walked past but all of them chose not to look at us. Simply ignorant!! In the end a guy who was wearing black t shirt came to take our order and he was nice and polite. And we waited for 30 mins for food which was longer than expected to dine at 8:30pm. Also waited longer than 5 mins when asked for the bill, in the end we had to walk to the front desk counter to check and pay. Horrific service.
