Phi phi Viewpoint 1

Wow — this climb is no joke, but it’s 100% worth it. The views at the top are unreal and easily one of the best things we did on the Phi Phi Islands. There’s even a restaurant up there that’s a great spot to grab lunch and take a break (we were rushing to catch our ferry, otherwise we would’ve stayed longer). As someone who actually enjoys hiking, I loved having something challenging to do instead of just hanging on the beach the whole time. Quick warning though: the hike down is just as tough as the hike up… your knees and thighs will definitely feel it 😂 Highly recommend making the time for this one.

Good to go this track with stairway, have to take some time and once you reach entrance of viewpoint 1 there is 50 thb fee in cash only. No alcohol inside but can leave with the guy at the entrance and when you come back down can still get it back. To go to viewpoint 2 you just continue your way up to that place from viewpoint 1 for like 10/15 mins depends on how strong you are , this viewpoint 1 is ok but not so impressive —- see my 2nd review in viewpoint 2 location 💪🏼

You need to climb some steep stairs what can be a bit tiring especially in the heat but it is totally worth it. Especially that after Viewpoint 1, Viewpoint 2 is awaiting you with even better views. It is a private property. Entrance fee to Viewpoints 1 & 2 is 50baht per person. You enter a nicely and thoughtfully arranged garden with beautiful plants, funny “sculptures/forms” of 🍉 🍎 🍌 🍓 . Great place to take photos. But it is just the beginning, follow the route to Viewpoint 2 (it’s a road, a bit steep with a few stairs at the end) Views on Viewpoint 2 are breathtaking!

Absolutely stunning. Worth every minute of climbing and sweating. You can stay as long as you'd like. There are other viewpoints to experience as well so keep that in mind. BE PREPARED because there are a lot of steps and even for a person such as myself that is in fairly great shape, it can be a bit tiring with the combination of the heat. I'd recommend going early morning and watching the sun bless the island with an awakening! The views are absolutely stunning. Simply breathtaking. There's no need to rush through there is a lot to see.

Oh Wow. Went.her for the day from Krabi via speedboat. Was definitely worth the trek up to the top.on a super hot day. Jad to pay 50thb to go for a walk but definately worth it. The first view point showed a reasonable view and an area.to stop and take a few snaps. The trek to the second point t was a bit tiring in the heat but once at the top the extra views were amazing.

The climb wasn’t particularly difficult, but with the temperatures, you do start to sweat. You don’t need to be especially athletic for it, but you should have a certain level of basic fitness and carry a bit of water. Every drop of sweat is definitely worth it for the view.

It’s not that easy to reach the top. Require lots of water and patience. Consider taking closed shoes for your own comfort. The view at the top worths every bit of effort. Entrance fee 50 bht per person.
