Excellent food, great wine selection, great ambience. Why are all the waiters always in such a rush? Noone knows. Plenty of options Gluten-free, because everything is kitchen cooked, not industrial. OMG on that egg soup appetizer, so good. Highly recommended. If you use The Fork app, just make sure they calculate right in the check. Don't be shy to say if they misinterpret the discount... Happens, and they will correct. Hint hint.

Phenomenal food. Truly a French culinary experience. Best part... not flooded with tourists.

Google
Great Ambiance. It was close to where we were staying and the hotel folks highly recommended it on the first day when we checked in and was wondering where to eat. Menus are very french but the flavor is strong. The look may not be anything you want to write home about, but the taste definitely will. Service was ok but attentive. While we were there, we notice a lot of "regulars". Knew what they want and the food didn't take long. Overall, this one won't leave you disappointed.

One of the best restaurants we went to in Paris. The service was phenomenal. All staff spoke English well and were very enthusiastic. The food was great as well. I had the lamb which was tender. I then had the chocolate suflet for dessert which was great as well. The wait for food was about 45 minutes but it is well worth the wait.

Google
Interesting meal, but would expext more. Friendly place, with nice food. Probably a nice place to experiment the degustation menu (I did not), and seemed to have interesting variations of fish dishes (which some friends appreciated). I had a meat dish, which was competent, but mostly easy to forget. I will probably return to check if the other dishes were indeed better. You can expect around 40€ with drinks, which makes me start to expect more than being a nice place to go....

Simple yet elegant setting. Friendly (both French and English spoken) staff and owner. Amazing taste yet great value for dinner. Great for family and lovers! Will do lunch next time. A must try dining spot in Paris! Hats off to the team!

Extensive wine menu paired with delicious original food. Cozy and reasonably priced for the location. If you are unsure of your wine selection Phillipe can set you straight. Great ending to our trip. merci bien.

Google
Shoulder of lamb without accompaniment (except for a few soya beans and bread which served as an accompaniment). Noisy canteen atmosphere with tables that almost touch each other. Unorganized waiters: dish served while the aperitif was just served and not finished. Cleaning crumbs after dessert instead of before dessert. A Chocolate soufflé to be ordered imperatively at the beginning of the meal but which seems out of the micro wave and which resembles a vulgar fluffy Chocolate. A wine list at inconsistent prices with the level of dishes. Widely disappointed. For this price there is better around the fields.

Yelp
Found this restaurant on Tripadvisor and saw the great reviews from other travelers that have visited Paris. I am pleasantly surprise to find a discount offer for making your reservation through Tripadvisor/The Fork and finding a dinner reservation available for a Saturday evening. The only catch to the 30% discount is that you have to dine at a specific time and must order everything a-la-carte. Since we are tourists and wanted to make sure that we get to the restaurant on time, we arrived a few minutes before they opened. Instead of greeting us with a smile and telling us to wait, the waiter simply walked up to the door and closed the curtain. We were still standing in the street in front of the street a few minutes after our reservation. Finally, a French couple walked in and was served right away. Hmm... Before I continue complaining about the mediocre service I received from this restaurant, I have to say that their food was outstanding. I personally ordered the Foie Gra, Scallop Risotto and Chocolate Souffle and also sampled the dishes of my traveling partners. The only dish that I wish was better was their Beef. We ordered Medium for the Beef and got something that was closer to raw. Continuing with my vent for the service. Seems like Saturday is a busy night for the restaurant because it filled up pretty quickly after we sat down, but this is no excuse for the waiter to keep rushing our meal and literally taking the plates from our table when we are still a fork in the mouth. Wouldn't say it is "Bad" service, but definitely not the type of service I am expecting from a restaurant with this type of price tag on its menu.

Yelp
People rave about how awesome this place is in Yelp reviews... I think it's okay but not a MUST on the list. Service- 5/5 Absolutely wonderful waiter. Friendly, mild mannered, and genuine. Definitely deserves every bit of a big tip. Ambience- 3/5 I ate outside (as one should in Europe!!), but I would recommend eating inside. The sidewalk outside is not flat, and they do their best to accommodate for the incline, but it's kind of strangely angled for seats. The part I dislike is that 5 different people came around trying to sell us flowers or ask us for money during dinner. I would recommend dining inside if you prefer a little more solitude. Food- I'm kind of torn here! Amuse bouche- 5/5 Cream of chicken with Italian cheese on top. I never thought I would enjoy pureed chicken, but hey.. I did! Beef- 3/5 Server recommended this. I think 26 Euros? It's a very hard cut of meat, even when cooked medium. (Normally I go MR, but the last restaurant ended us giving us a raw steak, so I thought I'd ask for a medium to see what happens.) Served with frites and Béarnaise sauce, this plate came with some onion jam as well. The meat itself was quite flavorless and very tough to cut. Lamb - 4/5 My buddy got the lamb, and it was very tender! Much nicer to eat. It came with potatoes that were flavorless. They come with a ball of butter on top, but the potatoes don't evenly coat when you do it that way! No seasoning on them either. :( Chocolate soufflé- they did an excellent job on the soufflé! Cooked very well and actually not terribly sweet, which can be a good or a bad thing depending on what you like! It really drives me nuts when my ice cream is already melted before it even gets to me. C'mon guys, can't you just leave it in the freezer until the rest of the dish goes out? It was a pile of soup :( I think this place has good food, not great. Based on the price tag and value for my meal satisfaction, I don't think it's really worth going back to.

Yelp
Upon walking in we walked past a huge shank of charcuterie of some sort - this excited my friends and I. Amuse bouche- we were served some sort of olive croissant rolls and they were pleasantly amazing. Starters - I had the crab meat and Granny Smith apples. It was perfect for a hot evening. The apples added a cool summer crunch. Dinner- lamb (well done -pregnant). The lamb was seasoned well and was delightfully delicious. Service - Jamie was our server and he was the absolute BEST server in all of our 7 days in Paris. He even knew we Americans liked ice so he kept glasses full for our convenience. Ice is an apparent luxury in Europe. Phillipe made great suggestions. He is very entertaining and comical. We enjoyed his hospitality. Dessert- the sorbet is perfection. I regret sharing with my husband and not ordering my own. Instead I ordered the Rhubarb crumble which paled in comparison to the Sorbet.

Yelp
I think this place is closed, at least when we tried to go there it looked closed down and homeless sleeping in the doorways. Last time I was in Paris it was great, so if so it is kind of sad.

Yelp
First I have to say that this a beautiful place, elegant and sophisticated! We purchased from groupon our coupon. Unlike other restaurants this one didn't offer online reservation booking so booked by phone. That said something came up and we missed our reservations! When we did get in they were polite and took great care of us. The food was good, some items better then others! All in all we were and are happy with our experience! Would definitely go back when we re

Yelp
After a long day of walking around Versailles, dinner at this restaurant was a welcome reprieve. The food was divine, from the amuse bouche to the delectable souffle. Service was alright considering we were probably one of the most under dressed and we were tourists. But it's ok, once a foodie, always a foodie wherever I go!

Yelp
I've spent a lot of time in the Alma-Montaigne neighborhood over the past 10 years. I've walked past this restaurant many times without going in. Tonight, I decided to try it, and what a pleasant surprise I received. The food was outstanding -- on an absolute basis, not just for the neighborhood. I had three courses: My appetizer was steamed oysters with Langoustine and ginger. My main course was Sole Meuniere with Mashed Potatoes. My dessert was Omelet Norvegienne (like Baked Alaska, but much better). The Steamed Oysters were delicate, innovative and delicious; this was a dish easily ruined if not cooked perfectly. The sole was beautiful, and perfectly cooked. The Omelette Norvegienne was beautifully presented and cooked just right. In short, each dish was a winner, and the combination was also a winner. The Sauvignon Blanc I had with the food was perfectly complementary -- it brought out the best in the food. I would also like to compliment the restaurant on the way I was received and the quality of service. Often, single diners are shunted off to the odd table on the wrong side of the bar, and we hardly get attention. I was seated at a prominent table and the service was warm as well as exemplary. I will return.

Yelp
This was an evening of gastronomic joy. Our Palates were teased in to surprise with each course. One of the best meals we have eaten anywhere in the world and the absolute best in the many times we have been in Paris!!!

Yelp
Was a great experience. One of the best Sole's I ever had and paired with an amazing Pouilly Fuisse. Impeccable service. Would absolutely recommend.

Yelp
Amazing meal last night and great service. Highly recommend for a great French restaurant experience.

Yelp
Philippe warmly greeted us at the door and his attention and staff service continued the entire evening. Dinner was delicious including the foie gras, langostino, roasted pig, and cod with fig compote. The pear tarte and chocolate soufflé were magnificent! English menus and waiters made the experience easy for us who do not speak French. What a wonderful way to begin our journey in Paris!

Mark D.

Yelp
The finest meal we've had in Paris from start to finish. I started with cod and pickled endive. Fantastic. I had lamb with winter vegetables. Very very good. My son had the duck, he was impressed. The chocolate soufflé was deemed, " the greatest thing I ever eaten.

Patrick S.

Yelp
A fantastic place with great service, fresh food, and well executed French staples. The aged local ham was a treat, as well as the lamb and fish of the day and chocolat souffIe would revoked this place and if we were here for more than just a few days we would come back.

Mike M.

Yelp
The place I wanted to go to had an hour wait... So we walked here. It was OK. Not great. A little pricey. Everything on the menu sounded good, and everything was a little disappointing. Not terrible, but no reason to come here. There are so many better places.

Robert D.

Yelp
Overall this place is ok, service was fine and the interior setting was fine as well. However, the food is just average in my mind. I would have expected a bit more, my starter was the foie gras which was good but way too much food and for main course I had the chicken which was a bit dry unfortunately even though the flavor was nice

Yelp
My friend and I went to this restaurant at the recommendation of a wine shop owner in the area. It was very cozy. A charcuterie and cheese platter was sitting in the middle of the entrance to the seating area, promising good things. We are modest eaters and drinkers, and had a late lunch, and I believe the restaurateur scaled back his expectations when we turned down a starter. We ordered the duck breast with celery and olives. My friend ordered a glass of wine and left it to the restaurateur to choose. She commented that it was excellent. The duck arrived medium rare as requested. It was a little tough, sadly, and the fat was not as crisped as I expected. And and I am not sure the olives enhanced the dish although the celeriac was very nice. My friend was pleased with the service and attitude of the restaurant but I am only giving it three stars because of the underdone duck fat and tough breast.

Yelp
A very nice dining experience with excellent staff, who also speak English very well. As for the food, it is very good and expertly prepared with lots of flavor. The macaron dessert is to die for!

Yelp
Great ambiance in the style of "Hotel Budapest" with very classy waiters running everywhere and prices very good for the neighborhood. Too bad the plates were just ok compared to this standing: tuna steack "aller retour" a bit too cooked and served only with mashed potatoes, and daurade with no exceptional taste or sauce... the dishes were missing something to me, at least on this day.
