Great location, clean and friendly hotel! Spacious room for my family of three. Location is everything. This hotel is centrally located to restaurants, historical sites and shopping. Rooms are clean with fast room service. ||Sadly, there was no iron. ||Breakfast was excellent! Perfect selection with great hours. Roof to restaurant is located at their sister hotel. Two minute walk. Make sure you get there a few minutes before seven, their first seating. This allows for best table selections. Food is delicious!

There was nothing luxury about our stay but it was perfect for our night in Athens. The room was comfortable and the staff friendly. The location was ideal. Surrounded by great bars and restaurants and an easy walk to the acropolis. The staff was very helpful, and the free coffee was delicious!

Amazingly kind and accommodating staff and a wonderful continental breakfast. A perfect location in the middle of all of the Athenian relics without being loud. If you want more fancy, feel free to pay hundreds more. Taxi cabs are always available out. Front couldn’t recommend this place more highly!

This hotel is good for its location, the basic but hearty breakfast. I stayed in a first floor room (101) next to reception, it was noisy once breakfast service started at 7am. When I first arrived, I was quoted the cost, which was significantly more than the current online rate. We booked in advance much earlier. I was able to negotiate a better deal at reception. I went to have a bath one night, and asked for a plug from reception, and told that baths were not allowed. There is a stunning view of the Acropolis from the small rooftop. Altogether this hotel is a good location for first time visitors to Athens, the breakfast is sufficient, it’s a decent 3 star hotel.

Stayed here in May and what a delight. Our room had a verandah overlooking the Acropolis and the daily breakfast was amazing. It is so close to restaurants and shops and you can take an easy walk to the Acropolis. It was a perfect way to start our stay in Athens would definitely stay again.

Absolutely Wonderful Stay at Philippos Hotel!||We had an amazing experience at the Philippos Hotel in Athens. The location is unbeatable—just a short 5-10 minute walk to the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum, and some of the best restaurants and shops in the city. It was the perfect base for exploring the historic heart of Athens.||The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always ready with a smile and great local recommendations. We were especially impressed with our room—it was much better than we expected based on the photos online! Spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, it exceeded our expectations in every way.||We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Athens. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the city!

Fantastic hospitality, friendly greeting and welcomed in like family. Allowed to leave bags in coat room 5 hours before our room was ready. Front desk worker Efi gave is recommendations on sites to see and assisted with car service. Breakfast was outstanding with a large selection of eats. We booked a top floor two bedroom suite with balcony overlooking the Parthenon.

The price is right and the location is perfect. We really enjoyed our experience there. The staff at the reception desk is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast is good. There’s no bar, but their sister hotel, The Herodian, is just around the corner and has an indoor bar and a rooftop bar.
