Philippos Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Philippos Hotel in Athens. The location is excellent, just steps from the Acropolis and within walking distance of major historical sites, which made exploring the city incredibly easy. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the rooms are very comfortable. We stayed in two single rooms, and both were well organized and quiet. The bathrooms were spotless, and everything felt carefully maintained. The service was outstanding from start to finish. The staff was consistently warm, welcoming, and helpful, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety and high-quality options. One of the highlights is the rooftop, which offers beautiful views of the Parthenon — absolutely stunning, especially in the early morning or evening. Overall, this felt like five-star service at a very reasonable price. We were truly and pleasantly surprised, and very happy with our choice. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

We spent a beautiful week here. Hotel looks elegant and fancy, with the nicest personel we've ever met. Our room was clean, with an amazing view on Acropolis. The breakfasts were delicious and fresh, with new delicacies every time. A huge plus was also the ability to make hot drinks throughout the day, it was great to have a coffee during the day. We will definitely visit this place again ❤️

Our stay here was excellent, very close walking distance to all the main old Athens attractions, Hotel is simple but very clean and well maintained, same with our rooms, small, simple design but comfortable and clean, best part of this hotel is staff, everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful, they even left my wife a little birthday surprise, since our stay was around that time. Breakfast is limited in options but everything we tried was fresh and delicious. About the only thing that is not up to par is WiFi, speeds constantly fluctuate but on average 2-3mbps which is inadequate to stream or work.

Perfect hotel, perfect location, perfect staff. You don’t need more in Athens. Hotel is modern outside and inside common areas, very clean, breakfast is good, personnel extremely friendly. Location the best. You don’t need to overpay for any other hotel. This is a high-quality 3-star hotel. Yes rooms are smallish and bathroom too, but they’re clean and have everything you need. And then you just walk out and you’re on your way to sightseeing. I would totally stay there again. It’s also quiet, in a small street, but again, very close to everything. It really made our stay!

Loved the hotel. The staff was polite and very helpful, especially Ilias, who was at the reception. The location is perfect if you would like to explore the key touristic areas of Athens by foot. The view of Acropolis from the hotel's rooftop is 😍.

We loved our stay at Phillipos Hotel in Athens. The staff provided great information and some of the best recommendations for the area. The location could not have been better, just a short walk to Thomas Tavern, Django Gelato, The Laundry Room, and many more amazing spots. Our room had a beautiful view of the Parthenon, which made every morning and evening feel extra special. The breakfast was excellent, fresh, and well prepared, and the service throughout our stay was top notch. One night we had a noise issue from the room next door. My husband called down to the front desk and within minutes it was taken care of. The staff handled it quickly and professionally. Phillipos Hotel is comfortable, clean, and perfectly located. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Athens.

Incredible location to explore the acropolis, plaka and the lower portion of Athens. It was a short walk from the Metro station, easy to find. Incredible customer service with coffee and breakfast upon arrival (early check-in). Incredibly knowledgeable and helpful front desk staff. One gentleman gave the most amazing recommendations for restaurants (Thomas 1971) and we dined there for dinner 3 nights out of 4 we stayed in Athens. Incredible views of the Parthenon/Acropolis from our room on the 6th floor and from the rooftop terrace. Note: • For light travelers, there is a super easy to use laundromat 1 block away.

Great location and service. Good breakfast with lots of variety. Room a little small but with clean, comfortable bed, clean bathroom and easy to use safe in room,what more do you need. Helpful and friendly staff. I really enjoyed my time here.
