Incredible location to explore the acropolis, plaka and the lower portion of Athens. It was a short walk from the Metro station, easy to find. Incredible customer service with coffee and breakfast upon arrival (early check-in). Incredibly knowledgeable and helpful front desk staff. One gentleman gave the most amazing recommendations for restaurants (Thomas 1971) and we dined there for dinner 3 nights out of 4 we stayed in Athens. Incredible views of the Parthenon/Acropolis from our room on the 6th floor and from the rooftop terrace. Note: • For light travelers, there is a super easy to use laundromat 1 block away.

We loved our stay at Phillipos Hotel in Athens. The staff provided great information and some of the best recommendations for the area. The location could not have been better, just a short walk to Thomas Tavern, Django Gelato, The Laundry Room, and many more amazing spots. Our room had a beautiful view of the Parthenon, which made every morning and evening feel extra special. The breakfast was excellent, fresh, and well prepared, and the service throughout our stay was top notch. One night we had a noise issue from the room next door. My husband called down to the front desk and within minutes it was taken care of. The staff handled it quickly and professionally. Phillipos Hotel is comfortable, clean, and perfectly located. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Athens.

Great location and service. Good breakfast with lots of variety. Room a little small but with clean, comfortable bed, clean bathroom and easy to use safe in room, what more do you need. Helpful and friendly staff. I really enjoyed my time here.

Amazing stay from start to finish. Perfect location right next to the Acropolis and close to metro lines that take you anywhere you need. Incredible view, great service, and extremely professional staff. Special thanks to Ilias for his outstanding professionalism and for the great guidance about what to do (and avoid) around the city. Best value for money you could hope for. And thank you again for the birthday cake — a really thoughtful touch. Highly recommend

Philippos Hotel is an excellent place to stay while visiting Athens. It is located right around the corner from the New Acropolis Museum and dozens of great restaurants. A lot of interesting sights and venues are within 20 minutes walking distance, making it extremely convenient. More importantly, I was very impressed by and grateful for the hospitality of the hotel staff. They were all very kind, patient, friendly and helpful, and assisted my wife and I without hesitation in exploring the city, booking a tour for us and making suggestions for various questions we had about Athens. They are all consummate professionals and I had a very pleasant stay here. Strongly recommend.

Three nights solo occupancy via British airways holidays and all was well.|Good position for the Accropolis and within five minutes of a metro station. Lots going on in the area including lots of food options. |Small room but had everything I needed including fridge/safe/TV and air-conditioning etc. Small bathroom with lots of hot water and a balcony with two chairs but not much view.

I loved everything about this hotel. It is centrally located, very clean, and attractive. Breakfast was outstanding as were the breakfast staff. |Spyros, Ilias, and Christo at reception deserve special mention as they were unfailingly welcoming and helpful no matter how busy they were. |Ilias is admirably patient (voucher v ticket misunderstanding on my part). Sorry about the phone call, Ilias!|I would not consider staying anywhere but The Philippos in Athens.|This hotel made my stay all the more enjoyable and memorable.

I booked a room here last minute in May when our travel plans changed. We stayed in the Acropolis Micro Room with Terrace and while the room was small there was still plenty of space for our suitcases and the terrace was amazing! Direct view of the Parthenon and all. It was nice and quiet at night and my partner was very pleased with how well the AC worked. Would also recommend making a stop up to the roof deck at night. The front desk staff were absolutely lovely and so helpful in assisting us with dinner reservations and recommendations. The included breakfast was a nice start to the day. My partner is still eating yogurt with honey daily after getting hooked on it from the buffet 😅
