Google
Great surprise and avery accessible attraction in Eidhoven. I loved to find out more about this important part of Engineering history.

Google
Very interesting museum for those interested in history. I never knew how large of an impact this company made to the technological progress in the 20th century. I easily spent about 2.5hrs here, reading every info bits and the audio guide is highly recommended. The artifacts are well preserved and the layout of the exhibits are clear, and follow a logical flow. I highly recommend this museum for history buffs, or for people who enjoy household appliances, there are a lot here from the previous decades. Note: there is a free medium size locker facility, behind the gift store for you to store your bags and coat. There is a cafe on the ground floor, and toilets near the lockers are clean.

Great museum for people who love technology and science behind it! I was fully invested, I liked it a lot. It took me 2,5 hours (I was exploring and reading literally everything).

A great museum in the center of Eindhoven! It's exciting to watch a 130 year technology revolution in your native language! On the other hand, the museum was smaller than I expected. I see the brilliance of historical processes in a better interactive way. But I still recommend it…

I didn’t expect a whole deal from this but was presently surprised, I had no idea the influence of this company- some really touching features. The cinema was nice to see the influence during the war. Cafe seemed reasonably priced- sadly no GF options. Also the free audio guide was a nice feature. A lot of interactive features

Google
Very nice museum with interesting history of Philips company. It’s not so big and can be viewed within one or one and half an hour.

Yelp
The museum tells the story of the Philips company from its founding in 1891 by Gerard and Frederik Philips through to the present day where it's known for medical equipment, consumer electronics and home appliances and yes, light bulbs. Lots to see and movies to watch, most of it in Dutch with English captions. So much history of this massive conglomerate company! There is of course a gift shop and I picked up a new fridge magnet. Yelp
This was the second time we visited the Philips Museum. In itself the museum provides a very nice view of the timeline of the company, going from the early factory to recent inventions. It seems to be more interactive than during the earlier visit. What made this visit really nice, however, was the Vintage Philips Weekend, where collectors had there Philips collections. This included the possibility to play old computer games. It was an hour well spent.
