I honestly don’t understand why this café has such a high rating , it almost feels like Vietnamese customers are overly generous with their reviews. On paper, the concept sounds appealing: a relaxed garden café tucked away in a corner near a luxury hotel. In reality, the experience falls short.
Parking is inconvenient both during the day and at night because the alley leading to the café is quite narrow. During the daytime, especially on weekends, the place becomes extremely crowded. The romantic garden atmosphere quickly disappears, replaced by customers glued to their phones, which really breaks the illusion. Even in the evening, when things are a bit calmer, seating is limited due to the trees surrounding the space. As a result, customers end up sitting very close to each other, something that can be uncomfortable if you value personal space.
The menu is very basic, and the drinks are completely average. Since the café also maintains the greenery, there’s often a noticeable fertilizer smell in the air. There was also a cat wandering around while we were there, but its hygiene didn’t seem particularly good, which didn’t help the overall impression.
The one real positive was the staff. The young employees were genuinely enthusiastic and attentive. Even though the café doesn’t seem to offer much formal training, their personal passion and willingness to engage with customers and meet requests helped salvage the experience somewhat.
Overall, the visit was deeply disappointing. The gap between the café’s promise and the reality made the experience far less enjoyable than expected.
