The Kulen waterfalls are located in the Phnom Kulen National Park, a couple of hours out of Siem Reap. Phnom Kulen is a sacred place for Cambodians and the waterfall is its star attraction. There are two levels of the waterfall, both accessible by following a trail, which is reasonably easy to walk and with steps in certain sections, especially to get to the second, taller waterfall. This waterfall was still quite impressive in November, after the rainy season had more or less abated. It was possible to get into the water to be drenched by the spray from the thundering waterfall. The lush greenery around this location with the running water and boulders made it an extra special visit.
