Touring Philadelphia's Food Scene: 'Walk With T+L'

"At Pho75 I had a giant bowl of pho that I customized with lots of lime and jalapeño, and paired it with a sweet iced coffee made with condensed milk—an example of the bold, comforting flavors available in the city’s immigrant-owned spots." - Kelsey Fowler Kelsey Fowler Kelsey Fowler is a New York City-based journalist who specializes in covering travel, business, and news. Pho 75

Google
Pho was amazing, without a doubt one of the best places in the area. However, there is not an ounce of customer service & do not expect a refill. The prices are very reasonable, however it is a cash only spot. Overall not a place I would return to, but if you are strictly looking for good bowl of pho without focusing on the service it’s worth giving it a try!

Google
Cash only. The pho is outstanding, easily making this spot the gold standard for pho in the DMV area. You can order drip coffee with your pho, but there are no other side items on the menu—yet the pho alone is more than enough. Don’t expect much in terms of décor or service; they keep it simple and efficient. Once you order, the pho arrives quickly. Enjoy.

Google
Food was decent! Not the best pho I’ve ever had though (coming from a Vietnamese). The broth is a bit lackluster and tastes watered down. I’d prefer it to be more flavorful with beef bones and such but the broth is clear and not oily at all so that’s a plus.

Google
I was told by many online this is the best Pho in Northern Virginia. Even as a complete amateur to Pho, this was excellent. Decent portion even for a regular bowl, impeccable broth, and good cuts of meat. No fancy advertising or bells and whistles. You go in, order, then a bowl of Beef reincarnated into heaven. The only knock is that you should bring cash, aside from that it's worth a drive.

When you come here, you come for the flavor — and deep down, you already know you’ll have to sacrifice a bit of cleanliness. The sticky floor, sticky tables, sticky chairs… oh man. And if you’ve ever been to the restroom, you know exactly what I mean. But when it actually happens right in front of you, it’s still hard to accept. An elderly gentleman, probably in his seventies or eighties, was sitting next to me. After finishing his meal, he blew his nose into a tissue and tossed it into his bowl, then coughed a few times and spat into another napkin before wrapping it up and dropping it into his half-full soup bowl. I know he probably just didn’t want to trouble the staff to clean up after him — but still. My wife and kids had gone to the restroom at that moment, so when they came back, I had to pretend everything was fine and keep eating happily. On the way home, I told my wife we should never bring the kids here again. She asked why — she said the food was good, and everyone enjoyed it. Then I told her what I saw. That night, we all skipped dinner. Thanks, Pho 75.

Google
Great food for the cold weather. The broth was flavorful. Place was packed even an hour before closing. Cash only, so make sure you bring enough money to pay at the cash register after you eat. One of the bowls they brought out to my table of 4 was wrong and they insisted they were right, but we still took it anyways - still yummy, just not what the person who got it wanted (different meat toppings). The staff and the restaurant feel like very authentic Vietnamese.

Google
Solid place for pho lovers, esp. those who prefer clear, non-greasy broth 😉

Google
If you care a lot about service, you wouldn’t enjoy this place. But if you like pho for a good price, it would be worth it to come here. Like a lot of the other reviews, the staff is efficient at what they do but they don’t care for any pleasantries. The Pho came out quickly after we ordered even though the restaurant was packed on a weekday afternoon. After that, our waiter never checked in with us again. The pho itself tasted good and had big portions. Meat quality was decent as well. They do use good amount of MSG that I can taste. Be sure to bring cash for when you pay at the register! Otherwise you will have to use their ATM.

Yelp
This. Place. Is. Legit. We stopped by on a weekend and found a table quickly but the restaurant was packed! I ordered a small pho with brisket and tendon. It comes with a side of sprouts, limes, jalapeño, and basil. There are additional sauces and utensils at the table. The broth is so mind glowingly flavorful. The beef was plentiful, cut thick and very tender. I. Will. Be. Back.

Yelp
Smells terrible inside and the man who took our order hung up before I could give my name. Food was ok.

Yelp
I suppose I could just copy and paste my review of the Pho 75 in Rosslyn, but I won't. They are basically the same experience. Cash only (though there is an ATM inside). One difference between the Pho 75 in Falls Church and the one in Rosslyn is that here, there is plenty of parking. And too, the Falls Church Pho 75 is next to Banh Mi DC where you can pick up some mighty good eggrolls as a way to top off your pho afterwards. This location is always very busy. But even if the line to be seated is spilling out the door, the line moves quickly. Service is brisk and no-nonsense, though still polite. If the server remembers you, he will dispense with providing you with a menu and just take your order right there on the spot. I like that! I have a bit of preference for their fragrant and tasty chicken broth over the still very good beef broth, so I always order the #17 (pho ga). You can order the regular or large size. The difference between the sizes is barely noticeable. For $2 extra, you can order a cup of extra meat. At Pho 75, I always order the coffee with condensed milk. The standard practice is to take your coffee in the mug, stir it with the condensed milk at the bottom of the mug, then pour it over the ice in a another glass. But me, I drink the coffee with a spoon, taking a spoonful of the rich dark delicious coffee with a dab of the sweet condensed milk from the bottom of the mug. The contrast in the flavors is a delightful experience.

Yelp
Yum!! Stopped by when visiting Virginia with my friends today! I normally struggle at pho restaurants since I don't eat red meat, and was a little worried coming in only seeing one chicken option on the menu. I ordered the chicken pho with a vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. Both were delicious! The broth had a rich flavor with a distinct spiced, almost cinnamon-y aroma. There were also plenty of green onions throughout the broth, adding to the depth of flavor. A lot of times with chicken phos at restaurants I find that the chicken gets tough in the broth, but here the chicken was sliced thin and stayed deliciously tender. I doctored mine up with the hoisin and sriracha provided at the table, and the sliced jalapeños and limes that came with the pho. Delicious! And extremely affordable, the small was only a little over $10--although I did come in pretty hungry and probably could've had a large instead. The vietnamese coffee was sweet and strong too, and complemented the pho. The environment is cozy and welcoming, with more of a crowd coming in as we were leaving. It does seem like it can get pretty busy inside! One thing to note is that they are cash-only, but there are ATMs in store to use if needed. The service was super quick, no complaints from me--we were seated immediately, our orders were taken quickly, and the food also came out fast. This is definitely the best pho I've had on the east coast, and I would love to come back!
google avatar

Yelp
Everything is absolutely delicious!! Service is friendly and fast, with a super calm ambiance! Will definitely be back soon, this is now my official pho place!! Important to note: restaurant is cash only, but there is an ATM in the back.

Yelp
Pho 75 has been a staple in the community for well over a decade, and for good reason--it's simply the best pho spot around. I've been coming here since I was a wee little kid, and it's always been a must-go for family, friends, or anyone visiting the area who asks, "Where's the best pho?" Hands down, Pho 75 takes the crown. The flavors are consistently on point, with rich, deeply layered broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and high-quality meats that make every bowl an experience. But what really sets this place apart? Even my mom--a notoriously picky pho eater--will only eat from here, which says everything about the authenticity and quality of their food. If you're looking for the real deal when it comes to pho, look no further. Pho 75 never disappoints!
google avatar

Sonya P.

Yelp
Seated right away, fast and effective service, clean restaurant and table, check. The pho? I'm sorry but what I ate was a fresh bowl of noodles, meat and veggies, in water. The broth had no taste at all. Isn't pho all about the broth. For a restaurant that only serves pho, I was dissapointed. Maybe an off day.
google avatar

Yelp
Pho 75 Falls Church location is a staple of Northern Virginia. They are cash only (atm inside). It is right next to Banh Mi D.C. which is also a staple and a must try. On a weekend lunch rush, there is a line that goes out the door. They specialize in Pho only. You will not find any spring rolls or other dishes besides pho. The service is quick and the food comes out in a few minutes after you place the order. They are efficient in their system to get the lines moving. Due to inflation, the price of each bowl has gone up and I have been noticing that the portions are not as big as they used to be. Nevertheless, Pho 75 is a classic place for a quick bite. It could be challenging to go in and out of this parking lot as it is very busy. Don't forget to bring cash.
google avatar

Brian L.

Yelp
Once upon a time, many decades ago (yes, I'm that old), I have weird memories of this place being dark and noisy and over-crowded like a refugee mess-hall. I remember hating the pho outings back then. I just wanted McDonald's. Then, at some point, Pho 75 made a shift to a quieter environment with a cleaned-up reputation, as non-Vietnamese caught on to this soup actually being ridiculously good. Unfortunately, we can't avoid the phone-addicted main character syndrome that is rampant everywhere these days. People loudly conversing face-to-face is now replaced with the muffled and crackled smart phone speaker on full volume, so the boors can share their conversations and choice of YouTube videos with everyone else. If the soup is on point, still the best pho I've had anywhere in the US... but I'd give up modern times for those nostalgic days of humans talking with other humans again.
google avatar

Paul J.

Yelp
Pho 75 serves up the best pho in the DMV, no question about it. And the Falls Church location is no different than the others. Simple, hot, tasty pho with a side of Vietnamese coffee - that's my standard order. And Pho 75 brings it with the deep, meaty broth, generous noodles and slices of beef with the right amount of bright green onions and cilantro to balance it out. Drop in the jalapenos and bean sprouts and a few basil leaves, and it's the perfect meal. The best pho in the DMV? The line outside is proof that everyone else agrees. If you haven't tried Pho 75, you're missing out!
google avatar

Yelp
One of the best Pho places around. I have had the best Pho I have eaten here. I had to ding a star for inconsistent quality of the meat (one time it can be perfectly tender, the next can be chewy and fatty). Otherwise, very good Pho, fast service, if there is a line don't be turned away, it goes very quickly. The place is cash only, so remember to bring cash with you. They do have an ATM inside if you forget.
google avatar

Mike R.

Yelp
Very good Pho food. Obvious from its name that's what's primarily on the menu. Flank steak though, happy to recommend. There's is very tender and great portions too. The chicken pho of numerous types, is my usual go to. Lunch $12 to $15 is within reason. Quality is good for the price. The service is exemplary. Very hospitable and friendly staff. Have gone here several times, and will be back. Seating is fairly comfortable. I like how clean it is. If you're in the area, this should make you quite happy.
google avatar

Mic T.

Yelp
Warning : They only take cash but have an ATM inside. I like it, there's a distinct authentic beef bone flavor on the broth- i got #11 - since #10 rare steak is out. Not surprised - the place is full always on a weekend. Place is clean with fast and efficient service

Yelp
The pho here is very good and tasty, and so is the Vietnamese coffee. I had the Number 1 pho on the menu (Tai, Nam, Gau, Gan, Sach ... slices of eye-round steak, well-done flank, fat brisket, soft tendon, and beef tripe). I also had the Vietnamese coffee with sweetened condensed milk. Just for your information, they take cash only, which I think gives it a nice and unique charm. The only downside is that there were no electrical outlets at this location that I could see. Otherwise, all else was good. The staff were nice, the food was good, and prices were reasonable.

Sarah N.

Yelp
This place is extremely overrated. The pho was just ok, broth was lacking the depth of a truly long simmer, meats were not fresh and felt like they were boiled out. There was a long line at the door that moved pretty quickly. The host was snappy and rude... I'm Vietnamese and the way he treated us was not anywhere near normal in our culture let alone a casual dining establishment.
google avatar

Song Y.

Yelp
This is our favorite pho restaurant. It's cash only, super fast service, and soup quality/portions are awesome. Vast majority of customers are Vietnamese young and old. Inside is a typical casual atmosphere with lots of tables and chairs crowded together. They give a lot of meat with their soup, but if we want more, the extra portion is generous and very reasonably priced. The extra side meat photo I posted has more than normal b/c my wife put some of hers in there since she had too much in her regular portion bowl! I'm not complaining lol. We visit probably 2-3 times a month. Hits the spot every time! And you can walk next door for awesome bahn mi sandwiches for later!

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place since it's low-key famous. When you go and there are 95% Asian people in there you know it's good. We waited a little less than 10 minutes for a table for 2 on a holiday Monday. The line grew longer after we got in line. I was not expecting the quick turn around on the tables. This might be due to the facts they they basically only serve pho. (No appitizers such as spring or summer rolls, nothing else). There are a few dessert options. The Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk was delish! They bring it to you in a single brewer and you just pour it over a cup of ice. The pho broth was good, there really was no need to add anything. I normally ask for a chili oil but o don't even think they had it. The meats in the pho were actually good and not dry and did not seemed precooked with no flavor like most places. There was no real ambiance. Overall this was a good place to try. I would rather go somewhere less busy but just as good. Also, this was a 40 minute drive for me. I'm glad I tried and experienced it but I probably won't come specifically for it.
google avatar

Jeff T.

Yelp
Food always comes out hot and fast! Service is fast but you have to ask for refills of water if you're thirsty they won't come around to refill on their own. Plenty of seating here so it's usually fast in and out for the patrons.

Genevieve O.

Yelp
Have been going to this place for 20 years. Today I walked out without touching anything. I asked a question about the preparation of something I've ordered they same way for as long as I've been going there. The "waiter" was rude didn't answer my question walked away while I was talking, then shouted (insults probably) at me when I eventually walked out. I tried to ask the manager what his issue was and was ignored. So their food WAS great, and yeah I was used to the rushed atmosphere. I didn't get to taste the soup today because the behavior of the staff was disgusting and my appetite was zero.
google avatar

Emilia M.

Yelp
Been coming here for years. Always the same bowl, the same quality, and the same satisfaction. The meat is generous and made rare just like how they do it in Vietnam. The aroma of the broth is a dead giveaway that they know what they're doing. Noodles are your average pho noodles (I prefer them to be thicker and springier but that's my personal preference). My favorite Pho in the states still hails in California, but for my time here in the DMV, it's always Pho 75. You just can't beat the OGs!
google avatar

Javkhlan W.

Yelp
Best Pho in Falls Church. There's only Pho on the menu. You need a cash though. Another Pho 75 in Arlington.
google avatar

Phuc L.

Yelp
Food: I ordered pho with everything (dac biet). It came out hot. Service: This can definitely improve. I would say that a happy attitude doesn't cost much. Ambiance: The ceiling is old and dark. An upgrade would be nice to brighten the atmosphere. Recommendation: It's my first time here trying out the pho. I probably won't return but I would recommend everyone to try it out. Everyone have their own preference.
google avatar

Laura H.

Yelp
Customer service was one of the worse I've ever encountered from most of the workers there. The sever threw menus at everyone and had no patience with any customers, kept walking away when we were trying to order. He had a very aggressive attitude yelling "what do you want". Food was alright and cheap but the service makes me never want to visit again.
google avatar

Richard W.

Yelp
Five stars all day, every day. Nothing beats a great bowl of Pho on a day when you need a hug. Pho 75 has great Pho. The broth is fragrant and comforting, they have a huge selection of protein you can add and the accompanying plate of vegetables (bean sprouts, jalapeños and Thai basil) are fresh, never wilted, Pho 75 is always busy, weekends have lines out the door, everyone is welcome, there are always conversations in different languages, all cultures love great soup. Staff is efficient and professional, not the friendliest group but they manage to get everyone served. Pho 75 is cash only, leave the plastic in your wallet and pull out the green stuff. There is an ATM available, have no idea what the surcharge is.
google avatar

Sapna B.

Yelp
Would never eat here. I called today on a Friday around 11 am and wanted to ask some questions about gluten free options. The guy who answered didn't understand what I was asking and instead of getting someone to help me he was a jerk and told me to call back later. That kind of customer service is indicative of what I could expect if I ate there so will never even try them out.
google avatar

Jeff T.

Yelp
Cash only. Known as possibly the best pho in all of Northern Virginia, Pho75 certainly delivers if not at least comes pretty close. The broth is flavorful, the veggies are fresh, and if you ask... you can get raw meat for eye round. The service here is pretty fast. The atmosphere feels like you're transported far away to the east, casual and bustling.
google avatar

Parviz B.

Yelp
The pho here is as close to authentic Vietnamese street pho. Service is not that impressive but you don't go to these pho salons for service, you go to refresh your body with bone broth and get back out to continue life with more energy. I wish they would put a little lesser rock sugar in the pho but it's minimally important. I will visit this place as many time as I can and number 6 on the menu is my favorite.
google avatar

Sabrina K.

Yelp
Pho 75 a tried and true establishment here in Northern VA. One things for sure, you dont go here for the service. Typically the staff is short with their customers but it's worth it for the quality and authenticity of the pho. Unless it's an odd day their broth is some of the most flavorful I have had. Heads up that they only accept cash. It's a hole in the wall and the ambiance reflects such. The food comes out quickly (have only ever ordered pho here so can't speak on other food items prep time) and it is very affordable. I recommend this place to everyone who is looking for top notch pho!

Colleen C.

Yelp
This is a hole in the wall type of restaurant. Broth is so flavorful. It is the best pho in NOVA.
google avatar

Jon T.

Yelp
This place is no frills, providing what people want at such a fast pace. I went here earlier and immediately we were seated. My parents like to get food to go here most of the time but we stopped by here because another pho place we were planning to go to was closed for the night. The waiter did not bring any menus out, and it's probably because they know my parents who have been going here for many years or he can tell we just know what we want. Anyways, we order food to our waiter and it was such at a fast pace I was impressed that it happened so quick. I mean, people come here for the food. They eat, they come, and then they go. There's not much decor to look at either. Don't expect instagramable or unique pieces on the wall. The pho comes out and you can tell that the soup is hearty. It's such a rich broth that I ended up drinking the whole bowl. My rule of thumb; finish the soup if it's good. I don't like to add Sriracha or Hoisin sauce to this because it's good as it is. The meats I got were brisket and meatballs. I absolutely think these are the best meats but you can't go wrong with any other meats either. If there's two things I'd like to say first: 1. This place takes cash only. I'd recommend bringing cash. There's an ATM as well if you need to withdraw too. 2. The service is minimal, don't expect stellar service. I understand that might be a red flag for others but personally you get your food out so fast, it kinda evens out. Flag them down if you need something. Pho 75 is also in other Northern VA locations but this restaurant hits home to me. Please give it a try!
google avatar

Lili E.

Yelp
Never disappointed! Delicious beef noodles soup, the broth is so good! The price is right! Driving 15 miles to have a delicious bowl of Pho is well worth it! You should check it out for yourself, Pho 75 is the best!
google avatar

Val C.

Yelp
Tasty, quick, and affordable pho. I felt like the broth could have been more flavorful but with hoisin sauce and sriracha added it tasted great. Meat was tender and sliced well. Definitely hit the spot on a cold day!
google avatar

Emily C.

Yelp
When we got here, there was a long line that we thought would take a while, but it actually goes by so fast! This place definetely deserves all the hype it gets for its pho, it is some of the best pho i've had. They do not have any rice dishes, or at least i didn't see any on the menu, but you won't need it after trying the soup. It's also cash only (but they have an ATM inside)!
google avatar

Esther A.

Yelp
This place is an old reliable. It's not super clean and you may get the ick but the food is soooo good! It's high quality flavor snd noodles and broth and meat. It's just inexpensive Service is what you'll expect

Yelp
Such good value for pho!!! Bring cash. The flavor is light for pho, if you like that, which I do. Pho is only 10.50. Extra $1 if you want a large, which is a good deal if you ask me. My friend got the chicken noodle #12 and didn't like it, but I thought all my meats in #1 were cooked so well and it was a good variety. There were mainly thin meats and this thicker white translucent meat? Not sure what it was but it was chewy and delicious. Highly recommend for pho!! Must come. Service is fast and pho comes quickly after ordering. They also play nice peaceful calming instrumental music in the background for ambience.

Yelp
In a small and run down shopping center of Falls Church, sits a cash only pho place! Ample enough space for dining in - nothing fancy or extraordinary; had super quick service and pretty mediocre food. The amount of food is pretty proportional for an average consumer. Honestly, was extremely hungry and the broth was good! Meat and noodle quality were pretty average as well ~ Just a place for locals to grab some pho - would not travel for; overall 6/10.

Tanya N.

Yelp
the store charged too much without receipt. My table had 5 small bowls, 1 big bowl and 1 coffee. The cashier took me 92 dollars cash. I was surprised because It was too much. immediately I asked for the receipt. The cashier said no receipt. It is terrible. A small bowl is on menu only $11.5, big bowl $12.5. I will never come back to the store even though I like pho. the store is cheating to clients.
google avatar

Kev C.

Yelp
I wasn't planning on eating here because the main reason I drove to this plaza was for Banh Mi next door but I figured hey why not?! I ordered the #1 Small without tripe. It was decent at best. I was hoping they would have chili paste or sambal at the table but they did not. It is a CASH only operation and be sure to count your change! My total for a small bowl of pho and a water was $11.08 but the man at the register shorted me $5.00! They just serve pho here and I would not return here in the future. I am sure there are better restaurants in the area. No issues with the plain decor or prompt service.
google avatar

Annie C.

Yelp
I feel like over time, this restaurant doesn't hit the same as it used to. The portions feel smaller and the taste is not as great. It's still good enough to come back to when I'm nearby but not like what it was. Service is super quick, and you know this place is authentic.
google avatar

Nikky L.

Yelp
Found a caterpillar in my pho and the older, male waiter who seats people and takes orders tried to tell me it's part of the bean sprout. Those caterpillars are from fresh, leafy vegetables usually, not bean sprouts. I did put in the complimentary Vietnamese basil in my pho, which is where the bug came from. I brought this up to the waiter just so they know to maybe do an extra rinse of their vegetables. But trying to lie to me about what it was (he tried to pour the soup out of the spoon and just show me the bean sprout head, like I was mistaken), puts a bad taste in your mouth, no pun intended. Essentially, the waiter poured the soup out, hoping to hide the bug and gaslight me. Ambiance is a typical Vietnamese restaurant. My mom would have yelled and stood her ground, but I opted to just pay and leave since I was over it. Customer service here just reinforces negative stereotypes about Vietnamese restaurant customer service, which is a shame.

Yelp
I don't know why my previous earlier experiences with Pho 75 happened, but that was the only reason why I was so resistant in ever returning. It may have been because I was a pho newbie, and I just didn't know then?! I'm so glad that I gave this place another shot - we've ordered: +the Pho Chin - with well-done brisket - definitely a better option than the fatty brisket, these are definitely well done +the Pho Gau - with fat brisket; this is way too fatty, and I don't like that the fatty part has a yellow tint to them; it may pass for KBBQ when you're grilling them up, but because they're being cooked in the broth, it's just fat fat fat They are super generous with the proteins and scallions, but could be more so with the noodles. Regardless, even ordering a regular-sized bowl (they have a large-sized bowl, too), it's more than enough and super filling! Don't forget to ask for a bowl of ngọc béo, which is the beef fat that has been skimmed off from the cooking process; this comes with sliced ends of scallions, and adding it to your broth makes it more flavorful - TRUST! No need for hoisin sauce, but I do enjoy adding sriracha to spice it up. Service is super fast, efficient, but also accurate and friendly. +pho with great broth! +request the ngọc béo +fast and efficient service! +plenty of parking in shared plaza lot
google avatar

Yelp
One of my favorite local places to grab a bowl of pho. Theres not much on the menu except for pho, but its just tasty in every bite. The service is consistent. Be ready to order your bowl of pho with or without drinks. Not too long after, your bowl will be delivered to your table with a plate of condiments like bean sprouts, lime, jalapeños..you know! The place is always filled with lots of people so you know its good! Dont forget to bring cash or use the ATM machine !

Yelp
So far? This is the place that I have the best Pho in this area. Price is reasonable, pho tasted good, I don't taste nor having after taste of MSG in it which is a big plus for me. Service is fast, efficient. If you want a friendly, courteous service, this is not for you. They went straight to the point to ask what you want, they serve and that's it. Ambiance is super casual, ppl comes in, eat and out. Perfect for a lunch break or if you are in a hurry

Yelp
Long time customer and I forgot it is CASH ONLY because they under report. Tried to figure out how to get the cash for an $80 take out and they rudely kicked me out. With pho widely available in the area now will happily take my decades of business with them elsewhere.

Yelp
generally good Pho. The pricing needs to be updated, I paid $12.50 plus tax for a total of $15 for a large bowl of pho. Most people do not like to be surprised with pricing

Yelp
You know it's good when you can smell the food aroma outside and literally they only have pho on the menu lol. That's what they're known for and specialize in. My boyfriend and I both ordered a Combination Pho with all the meats and one with just Brisket and Tendon. We were seated quickly and received our food quickly. The broth was very tasty and not too oily or salty. We were so surprised that it was only $11 for a large bowl and they're pretty generous with the portions! Also, make sure to have cash since they only accept cash for payments. Definitely one of the best you'll find in the area.

Yelp
Good food here, though this spot is no frills for sure. First, very important to note that this is a cash only spot that doesn't accept credit cards, though they have an ATM available. Checked this spot out for the first time a couple months ago after living in the area for nearly 20 years. From the outside it's a bit run-down, and located next to a Vietnamese supermarket. Spot was pretty full with customers, but was seated quickly upon entering, and was recommended (as a first-timer who likes meat) #12 on the menu (brisket and steak pho). Also ordered a can of Sprite for $2. Food came out pretty quickly. The meal was solid. Tasty, with ample enough noodles, meat, and delicious broth. Honestly, not the cleanest place but not like it was dirty either. But really, really enjoyed the meal and will definitely be back in the future to check out other items on the menu. Including tax, the meal (large pho bowl and soda) came out to $14.26, which wasn't bad at all. I'll be back!
