Pho 99

We took our parents out for dinner at Pho 99 on a Saturday evening. The restaurant is located in a busy part of Mississauga, tucked inside an equally busy plaza, so we were surprised to find it only about half full when we first walked in. That changed quickly—within minutes of being seated, the crowds started to roll in, and the steady stream of takeout orders kept the place bustling. We placed our order, and the food came out very quickly, within about 10–15 minutes. As you can see in the photos, the portions are incredibly generous—truly impressive compared to many places these days. Every dish was packed with flavor, and we enjoyed everything we tried. We all agreed that the rice dish is definitely our absolute favorite! The menu is also huge, offering a great variety of options, which makes it easy to want to come back and try more. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the portion sizes. Even with four of us dining, we only ended up ordering three entrées because we knew we wouldn’t be able to finish everything—and we still had leftovers to take home. Overall, Pho 99 was a wonderful find and exceeded our expectations in every way. This has officially become our new go-to Vietnamese spot whenever we’re in the Mississauga area. We can’t wait to return!

It was our first time visiting this Vietnamese restaurant, and we were not disappointed at all! It’s actually the first time I’ve been able to finish an entire bowl of pho — the broth was so flavorful and comforting. Even the kids kept asking for more! The Pad Thai was also incredibly authentic, yet light and refreshing at the same time. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. Kudos to the whole team for such a wonderful dining experience — we’ll definitely be back!

I found the vegan dish I ordered (Stir Fried Vegetables w/ Rice Noodles) to be cooked well, but generally lacking flavor. My parents felt similarly about the meat dishes they ordered. I do appreciate how large the portion sizes were.

Really good food... Lots of seating and decent ambience... Service was not very good but the food made up for the lack of service. The pork and shrimp fried rice as well as the beef with black beans are my absolute favorites.

Traditional Pho part of the community here for many years, I only started recently going about once a week post-fight training. For the price and portions you get, its unbeat. Nothing truly replenishes you and makes you full quite like pho and for $16! I guess the culture is more reserved because you are seated, and handed over a slip to write your order. There isn't any "service" per say, but thats okay, just go in knowing what to expect. I always get the #P4 with only beef balls x 3 (it comes with upto 3 different meats that you want to choose)... I never can finish the large, and regular is also a generous portion. I DON"T Recommend the brisket, its not medium-rare like they say, very chewy, and cooked like overcooked beef, not tasty, and more like a very chewy overcooked slab of beef that is "dry" even though its in your pho broth... but the beef balls == they rock. AND THE BROTH -- 10/10. Absolutley delicious and its got the bone broth so its really good for you for the electrolytes and minerals and such… I recommend: #P4: with Beef balls REGULAR (large is amazing and huge, but even after fasting all day, I can't finish it) Will be back again and again! Love this spot!

Very good, large portions! Love the taste of the broth and beef. Kind staff and quick service. The milkshakes are refreshing, real fruit taste. I’d recommend the strawberry.

Quick and fresh satay beef noodle pho with pineapple, tomato, cucumber, and more. Fresh chicken spring rolls, plus complimentary green tea to start. A spot I genuinely enjoy and keep coming back to.

Might be my new fave in Mississauga. The broth is delicious. The cuts of meat are good quality. I personally love how you can pick which meats you want in your pho.

My family and I regularly come here to eat as it is very reasonably priced with big portions. The grilled meat is flavourful and there is plenty of it too! Would highly recommend

The best soup on a sick day, service is fast and easy. I ordered for pick up/take out and it was ready within 15 mins! I love how many options of soup they have (chicken or beef broth, egg or vermicelli noodles) the options feel limitless! Anyways the size is huge I ate lunch and dinner out of this soup and the price for the portion is amazing! 10/10

Recently I tried Pho 99. The seatings were comfortable and spacious. Their menu also offered a range of dishes, including Thai cuisine, but we were in the mood for Vietnamese food. As you can see our order served a lot of soup, but I found my order of medium rare beef and tendon rice noodle soup to be quite oily. The tendon portion was a bit small, but they provided generous slices of beef and noodles. My hubby ordered the well-done brisket and triple rice noodle soup, which had plenty of beef but not as many noodles. Perhaps they didn't split the portions evenly. However, they provided generous portions of lime and bean sprouts on the side. Surprisingly, there were no bottled sauces on the table, and the dish they provided for sauce was quite small, especially the hot sauce (I love ). Overall, the soup broth was rich and flavorful, tasted pretty good, and the only issue was that the brisket was a bit dry and my soup was a bit oily.

This Vietnamese place has a huge menu, but the food is still pretty good. Portions are pretty big too. Durian milkshake was great: very fragrant, rich & smooth. The durian was more robust than average. Crab meat vermicelli soup with blood pudding, ground pork & shrimp unfortunately didn't have crab, but crab stick. Still, it was pretty good. Summer roll with grilled pork was good. The grilled pork was exceptionally fragrant.

The bo 7 mon is great. Portions may seem small but a little bit of each adds up for 7 different ways beef is prepared. Great food, friendly wait staff, and very good prices.

Stopped in on a chilly Fall day with my hubby and our baby daughter. The place was clean and service was quick. We were glad they had a high chair available for baby. I chose the chicken pho, hubby got beef and we asked for a side of noodles for baby which she absolutely loved. We also got an order of spring rolls to share. The pho was tasty, toppings were crisp and fresh and super satisfying. The rolls were crispy without being greasy and tasted delish. Would fir sure return again someday.

Always a go-to for my pho-fix in the neighbourhood. And quick service too! Shared a bowl with my dining companion, and some deep-fried spring rolls! She ordered shrimp fried rice, while I had some grilled chicken and (another) spring roll on vermicelli! Stuffed, sated and satisfied after another great meal here!

Dining out with elderly parents is often a repeat of the oldies top 5 hits. Wow...to my surprise, this place surprisingly made its chart debut! Situated at the east end of the Mississauga Marketplace development is Pho 99 Restaurant specializing in Vietnamese & Chinese cuisine. There are a few large tables for about 8 diners but we chose a booth for our lunch. The menu is vast. I don't have any recent memory of seeing a menu with close to a thousand items. After a good 10 minutes of hemming and hawing, the votes were in... #111 Mi Quang Mien Trung (Vietnamese Fat Egg Noodle Soup with Pork, Shrimp, Chicken & Black Sesame Chips), #209 Pho Tai Nam Bo Vien - large (Medium Rare Beef, Well-done Brisket & Beef Balls Rice Noodle Soup), #512A Com Cari Bo (Stir-fry Chicken Curry on Rice) and #809 Ga Rang Muoi (Deep Fried Chicken Wings with Spicy Salt). Service was great as was food presentation. The meal was okay but I thought the flavour in the meats as well as the soup was a little lacking. This won't stop me from returning to sample some of the other 987 items. You can get a 10% discount when paying by cash! With dining prices on the up and up, I like this choice.

Prior to the Pandemic, I have only visited the newly renovated location and change of management a few times. Ever since pandemic, we have checked out this location several times for a quick and easy take out. The location is spacious and obviously super empty due to the provincial lockdown to minimize the rise of COVID-19 cases. A family owned Vietnamese restaurant, the family is super friendly and very generous. They are always delighted to see your face (at least my eyes since I am wearing a mask). They have a hand sanitizing station at the front entrance as you walked in. Tables set up for delivery app pickups. A barrier at the cash area where they would take your order. Plenty of room for waiting. Washrooms are closed to the public. I accidentally unlocked a discount (master level, I must say) when I asked if they still take cash since most locations have been declining the tender. If you pay in cash, it will be 10% off. Avoid using delivery apps and order by phone or in-person as it is more beneficial for restaurants.

Pho 99 is a trusty viet place whenever I'm craving some viet food. I went with my partner on a Sunday evening and the place was pretty much empty so we got seated right away. I went with my usual rice dish with grilled chicken, pork chops and an egg loaf (what I usually call them) and my partner got the special pho. My rice dish was absolutely delicious! It never fails me and I would get it again for sure. The pork chop though was slightly dry and hard. My partner also enjoyed his pho dish as well.

I love coming to Mississauga for Pho!!! I've had to spend quite a few lunches in Mississauga over the last couple of months and man, when I can find a pho place nearby, I know I'm in for a treat. My usual pho spots are in the East end of GTA and compared to what I can get close to home, what I find here is WAYYYY over the top. I have made a decision to eat more vegetarian last year so I decided to give their vegetarian pho a try. The hubby had the house special (I think??) and said the broth was on the lighter side. My vegetarian pho was fantastic with tons of vegetable swimming in a very flavourful and slightly spicy and tangy broth. The soup had nice complexity and depth and I honestly don't miss eating meat when you have something so good that can be served as a vegetarian option. I loved that they had the pickled habanero condiment! The service is attentive and efficient. This makes my Mississuaga go to list for great lunches! Will be back. :)

Partner and I went to celebrated 6mo anniversary. Prior to going to this location I called asking two things: 1. Are you open, because they were under renovation last year 2. The Thai hotpot is it the same as before the Reno, which we were told over the phone it was. In a nut shell, we were deceived over the phone by the restaurant operators. On arrival I asked for a bigger table because we were doing hotpot. Then the gentleman took our verbal order and it was in motion. Another person followed up, it was the person I spoke on the phone. She said it would be the same and asked me how was it before??? And I said more protein than vegetables. I said so long as it isnt like the Heartland location. I later found it was going to be quite similar. Boo! So before the changed ownership the soup base was tom yum, it was served with crab and a large proportion of shrimp, muscles, a clams. The amount of protein exceeded the vegetable serving. Now, the muscles went from 10 piece to 4. The shrimp went from 10 pieces to four. The tiger shrimp went from 2 to 0. The crab halves with legs went from 2 pieces to 0. The squid went from 0 to 4 pieces. The meat went from.10 pieces to 8. The oyster went from 0 to 2. So if you do the math there was a reduction on protein and the soup base went to a sweet, lemon grass, lime soup. I appreciate the same girl following up with me and asking me how the meal was and I said nothing like before and showed a picture of what it used to be. She said she will talk to the owner, but if this is operated like heartland's location ... I am really doubtful. This was the one unique reason why I visited this location-Im not sure if I will return. I also came here for some crab in hotpot, and we didnt get that. Changed ownership and my favourite order is not there AND I was lied to over the phone (I hate when the restaurant operator lied to secure a customer). Its not a great start. If the owners are reading this, let me know your resolution because we feel lied to.

I was hungry after an evening of light bites and diamond browsing that I needed dinner. I did a quick search on my Yelp app and Pho 99 popped up. It was a six-minute drive from where I was, I had an hour to eat before it closed, and it was on my way home. Perfect! It's in the same plaza as Ocean's Market. I drove over to a corner of the plaza and parked. There is plenty of parking at 9 pm. I walked in. Immediately, two staff members welcomed me. He pointed to any of the two-seater booths. Yay! There were menus, an order form, and a pen handy on the table. I got hot tea in a pot and a cup immediately. I loved how prompt the service was. I would have tried an appetizer, but I wasn't that hungry. Instead, I ordered number 209 on the menu, which is medium rare beef, well-done lightly fat beef, and beef ball noodle soup. I went with a large, which goes for $9.50. Okay, so I was kind of hungry, but not hungry enough for an appetizer! I swear that it took no time for my bowl of pho to arrive at my table. I was impressed. I got a plate of bean sprouts, mint, and a lime wedge. The pho was yummy. The broth is decent, but I still feel that Pho Ngoc Yen has the best pho broth in Mississauga. For the quality and promptness, it's all good here. The lightly fat, well-done beef melted in my mouth. It was delicious! I loved the rare beef and the beef balls were generous. The pho was perfect. It was a hearty and much needed bowl of comfort food. I was done eating in thirty-five minutes. I paid at the counter with my credit card. This restaurant also accepts debit and cash. There is a sign clearly posted on front door of this restaurant that only paying customers can use the washroom. The women's washroom has two stalls. The washroom was clean. The hand-blowing machine requires spending a bit more time to dry your hands, but it's still effective. Staff here are attentive and friendly. I'd come back here again for more yummy food offerings. I saw this as a hot new business on Yelp so I had to give this place a try! So I have not been to this pho place in so long and with new owners/management I am guessing that the restaurant had a facelift. This is definitely a nice change and much needed. The place seems to be brighter and more welcoming, which is a big positive compared to the past. From what I remember, Pho 99 always had an extensive menu and no surprises...there was too many dishes to choose from so you will definitely find something you like/want! As for the service, like any other pho restaurant, it is quick! Once you order, the food almost magically appears in front of you. Now for the food...I got the bun bo hue and the hubs got the raw beef/brisket pho combination. He enjoyed his meal while I also really liked the broth of my dish. There was so much meat stuff in my noodle soup but the only down fall was the rice noodles. They were definitely overcooked but other than that everything was delicious. Even with a busy weekday night, the service was quick and the food satisfying. What can you ask for more?!

I love Vietnamese food, but I must admit - I'm boring in that I always order the same thing every time. I always default to the classic grilled chicken bun. It's a classic comfort food for me! As such, I ordered the same thing coming here the other day. My dad stuck to his typical small beef tendon/flank pho, but my mom decided to adventure into the unknown with an order of bo bun hue, but with beef tendon and pork hock rather than the classic toppings of pork blood jelly, etc. The area is large and spacious, and seats customers quite comfortably! My grilled chicken bun was the first to arrive. It was quite a large and substantial portion! It was topped with lots of lettuce, pickled carrots/daikon, cucumbers, and crushed peanuts, and the noodles made up over half of the large bowl. I also really appreciated that they offered a large amount of the tangy fish sauce dressing to accompany the dish; oftentimes, I find that the ratio is extremely off. Since there were a lot more noodles, the larger dressing amount helped ensure that every bite was packed with flavour! The chicken was good, but it was rather dry and overcooked. It actually resembled the soy sauce chicken, but was far more lean and chewy. The pho was nothing special, but my mom really loved the bo bun hue. You could see generous hunks of tendon, and there were many pieces of pork hock as well. The broth was slightly spicy, but quite fragrant. This spot really satisfied my cravings for Vietnamese food, but it is a bit on the pricey side. That said, the portions are decently large and worth it!

I wrote a negative review about this restaurant 2 days ago for my damaged order on Uber Eats for Pho 99 restaurant. After CAREFUL investigation, it has been concluded that Uber Eats was the one that damaged my order and NOT Pho 99. I apologize to the restaurant for my harsh review 2 days ago that I have already deleted. I'm very upset that Uber Eats is turning customers against Pho 99 restaurant by giving me inaccurate information about Pho 99 and causing me to act so angry to the restaurant that Pho 99 didn't deserve. This is not the experience that me and Pho 99 deserve to go through. I want everyone to ignore my negative review if you saw it earlier that I have already deleted. Please DO NOT listen to any other negative reviews about this restaurant because they are not true. MOST IMPORTANTLY, if you order food from Pho 99 on Uber Eats and your order arrives damaged, DO NOT blame Pho 99 because the restaurant will always do their VERY BEST packaging your food safely and carefully. BLAME UBER EATS if you receive a damaged item. I say this from my own experience. Uber Eats also contacted me and they apologized to me for their mistakes by blaming Pho 99, which is uncalled for. Uber Eats has taken responsibility by banning the delivery driver named Catherine who mishandled this order for her unprofessionalism. i hope other Uber Drivers will handle Pho 99s orders with proper care and take my review seriously as well Lastly, I want everyone to know that Pho 99 is an AMAZING place. I have eaten at Pho 99 for over 20 years and their food has always been extremely delicious. To the store owner and to the Vietnamese staff, i hope you can accept my sincerest apology since I had no idea how unprofessional Uber Eats has done by turning you and me against each other. I hope this positive review will make up for my negative review that i already deleted 2 days ago. Pho 99, you are NOT lazy. You are HARDWORKING, KIND, PROFESSIONAL and overall AMAZING. You guys are a wonderful restaurant and i really appreciate your excellent service. keep up the great work. Everybody, please come to Pho 99 restaurant. they are one of the BEST Vietnamese restaurants out there!! You will not regret it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Was craving fresh rolls today so figured why not! Ordered the shrimp fresh roll, fried spring rolls and a grilled chicken bun. Fresh rolls hit the spot and they are huge, filled with fresh mint, lettuce, vermicelli and shrimp. The dipping sauce wasn't my fav but it worked okay with the roll. The vermicelli Bun was really good too, I liked the chicken and again large portion. Spring roll was crunchy and just as big as the fresh rolls altho a little greasy once you bite into it. Again the dipping sauce wasn't my fav but it was okay. I split the meal in half so I'll be enjoying this again tomorrow. Everything tasted fresh and delicious! Can't wait to dine in again, post covid.

Must say did not have much exposure about the Vietnamese cuisine so ended up trying something I know as I was super hungry and did not read many reviews before coming here. Ended up getting the Thai curry chicken which was extremely tasty. Pad Thai was average and tried one Vietnamese dish called shrimp in mung bean cake - which I am not very impressed about. We did a take out but overall this seems a spacious place with ample of seating and parking available. Would try authentic Vietnamese dishes next time

Under new management yet again; I've been coming here for the past decade or so and this is the 5th or 6th re-opening I've seen at this place. It's always still pho though so I came and gave it a try. They had the same menu items as the shop before it, which makes me wonder why they bothered changing their name. Anyways, the food: my parents always eat a tomato sauce beef pho (XL, $12.50) that not every place has and they still had it this time around. My brother and I went for the more basic rare beef pho (XL, $11.50) because we like the normal pho broth. All in all, the flavour of both pho bowls was weaker than other places, but we took it as a good sign that they used less MSG. The broth was satisfactory, but the weaker flavour was definitely noticeable. The beef in the rare beef bowl was all very lean, there was enough beef, and surprisingly a good amount of noodles. One XL bowl of pho was enough for 2 adults with big appetites. My parents told me there was significantly less beef in their pho than normal but everything else was okay. We also had a spring roll (2 rolls, $5) and that, while it tasted good, was super oily. In the past they used to provide lettuce to wrap the spring rolls with, so I did that with the single lettuce leaf at the bottom of the plate. Huge mistake because that piece of lettuce was soaked in oil. I also noticed they put taro in it; not sure if it's because I haven't had viet spring rolls in a while, but it wasn't as mind-blowingly good as I remember it to be. But, the spring roll was crispy and light and piping hot when it came. All in all a solid place for pho. Restaurant is clean, renovation was nicely done, food is solid, with slightly weaker flavour but good portion size. Personally, I prefer stronger flavour in my pho so I'll be eating around to see if I can find myself a new favourite pho shop.

Finally found a place with dine in to get my pho fix LOL. Only a few people were sitting inside with most orders being for take out or for delivery by one of the many online services. Typical open style Vietnamese restaurant with booth and table seating. I took a booth and was greeted with jasmine tea. I ordered a large rare beef with tendon pho and a crispy spring roll as an appetizer. Got the beef on the side so it would be nice and rare the way I like. Side veggies included basil, saw tooth cilantro, and sprouts, all nice and fresh. Crispy spring roll was light and not oily in the least. Just what I was looking for, l would recommend.

Wanted to have some seafood in the Mississauga area for 6 months anniversary celebration. Gf had a good experience with pho 99 and share with me. I was skeptical having hot pot at a pho place, I normally only have pho at these places, lol. The hot pot we ordered was about $51, for $10 more, we could have AYCE hot pot. For value, I wasn't impressed. Then again, it's a value meal for 3 people not 2 people. I was impressed by the soup base, sweet and spicy, something different. Definitely, the hotpot itself need more seafood and meat, I would not order the hot pot again. The server did asked us how the hotpot experience was and genuinely took our feedback. Washroom was clean and severs were friendly. I would come back to the place but for pho. Overall, good experience.

Really shocked and grossed out by my latest experience here. This use to be my usual spot for pho when I go out with friends or family cause of the location. However, I went there a month ago...mid-July with my mom and a cousin. Shocked at how they are declining in service and food. My cousin and my mom both ordered pho but I went with a simple rice dish that included beef, egg, and slices of tomatoes and cucumber. A fish sauce bowl is provided so you can poured it over the beef. Anyways, a few bites into my meal, I was about to eat a tomato slice but luckily noticed that something was wrong. It was spoiled with chunks of fungus on it! I took it off my dish after taking some pics as proof and left it on a napkin at the edge of the table. My mom told the staff and apparently all they did was say, oh we will check the back to make sure nothing else is spoiled. One of the staff came to my table and just took my spoiled tomato away with out a word of apology. If anything she was muttering something in Viet. Which I can understand but she was saying it too softly. No apologies, bad attitude by server, order not taken off bill or even a discount. I totally lost my appetite. Like if they left tomatoes out so long that it grew fungus on it, what else isn't fresh? Yikes! To top it off, my mom and I ordered Cafe Sua Da (iced coffee and condensed milk) but got sick from it. Like how can you mess up ice coffee with condensed milk? Not likely I'll ever go back. Eat here at your own risk.

I have been coming pretty regularly to this restaurant for the past couple of years. It's very convenient as is very close to my In Laws. This is the place we go when we come to visit and we are in the mood for Pho. As other reviewers have stated, the plaza is large with plenty of parking spaces but depending of the time, it could get really busy. The inside of the restaurant is spacious and could easily accommodate a large party as they have the smaller tables on the outside with the larger tables in the middle. The place is clean enough and the washroom is adequate. I will call the service minimal. You won't be ignored but they won't go out of their way to be attentive either. They will take your order, bring your food fairly quick and then they will leave you alone until you go up the counter to pay. If you need anything in between, you will need to grab the attention of one of the servers. In all of my times coming to this place, the servers have not been rude to me however, I wouldn't call them friendly either. Similar to the service, the food is average too. Portions are decent and dishes are good. I ordered the Pho with rare beef, beef brisket and beef tendons and the broth was flavourful. It seems that the food won't disappoint you but it won't impress you either. However, we have ordered the Pad Thai before and have found them oily and salty. Overall, this place is good if you are not able to go to your favourite Pho place as it is a good substitute and you know what you are going to get.

I came here today because I saw it had been renovated, under new management, & had good reviews. The place looked really nice and a nice change from what it had looked like before. We were seated and attended to right away, and our food came out within minutes of ordering. I came with my sister and we ordered 1x Deep Fried Ground Pork Spring Roll (#13), 2x Medium Rare Beef Rice Noodle Soups (#203), & 1x Chicken Fried Rice (#538). I would not order the spring rolls ever again.. they were so greasy that I couldn't finish them. The outside wrapper was very crunchy but flaky so they fell apart easily. The filling inside was okay, but they seem to have added shredded Taro in it, which I've never had. It made it have a very starchy/potato taste and texture. Not a fan, personally. The beef soups were great. I honestly never have a bad pho, or taste any difference from any place I've ever been. I would come back just for this. The chicken fried rice was a bit bland. Didn't seem totally fried to me.. I would eat it again, but I wouldn't ever come here if I was craving chicken fried rice. Overall, I will come back if I just want Pho. But if I want to order extra items on top of that, I will drive a bit further to Golden Turtle (Mavis & Central Parkway) for their food.

Awful. Do not recommend. Only pro is that the staff are actually friendly I ordered the grilled chicken rice plate. It came with two pieces of grilled chicken, a bowl of rice and a side of some vegetables. The chicken tasted like it was cooked on a grill that hadn't been cleaned in awhile. The rice was dry and there just wasn't enough side vegetables to help clean my palette from the awful chicken. The fish sauce that they also gave as a side, was awful. I have also tried the pho from here which tasted like a heap of metal. Honestly, if you want to have some quality Vietnamese food, don't come here!!

Had the Beef and tendon pho (X large) and vermicelli with grilled chicken and spring rolls. Pho: size was very good (big), however, soup had too much MSG, too sweet, and too oily. Beef portions were good, but it wasnt rare enough so it over cooked too quickly in the soup Vermicelli: not too bad, it was just like other restaurants. I mean, you'd have to be horrible to mess this cold dish up. Overall, it was okay. Would I return? Probably not, unless I was dying for pho and nothing else is near.

We've been going to this location (among others) of Pho Mi 99 for probably 12-15 years (maybe even longer). The restaurant is in a very busy plaza at Hurontario and Eglinton. The parking lot is very big, but also usually quite busy. The restaurant itself is fairly large, with plenty of seating ranging from tables for two to large round tables that would seat 8-10. It's quite clean and nice and bright. We've tried many of the items on their extensive menu and haven't been disappointed. There are many rice dishes, vermicelli dishes, stir fries, noodle soups, congee, (the list goes on and on) to choose from. As well as lots of freshly made shakes, Vietnamese coffee, etc... Some of our favourites are... #113 - My Tho style noodle soup. It has glass noodles, assorted seafood, bbq pork and ground pork. #512 - Chicken curry with rice. It's not a very saucy curry and has lots of diced onions and sliced green onions. Not too spicy, but quite tasty. #414 - Vermicelli with spring roll, pork meatballs and shrimp on a sugarcane. Unlike some other Vietnamese restaurants, the shrimp on the sugarcane is a generous portion with plenty of shrimp. The meatballs are a little sweet, but very tasty and the spring rolls are the traditional Vietnamese kind made in a rice wrapper and with plenty of taro inside (delicious). The service is extremely fast and the servers are friendly, although not all of them speak a lot of English. When someone asks about Vietnamese restaurants in the Mississauga area, this is always one of the ones we recommend.

Always come here with my colleagues during lunch. Fast service, good portion, and yummy food! Would highly recommend to try if u are looking for good Vietnamese food.

We ordered the vermicelli, with chicken, food was excellent but the vermicelli was a little cold and service was slow. I would definitely go back and recommend to a friend just remind the server to make sure the noodles are hot :-)

Pho Mi 99 looks a little sketchy from the outside with all the curtains drawn down and the small storefront. I almost want to pass and go somewhere else. But my Friend made me... she has weakness to Pho as I am to sushi so we walked in. A busy dining room on a Sunday evening always a good sign. Service here is so fast... we got all our food in less than 5 minutes after we ordered!! Special Pho ($7) - broth is cleared but flavoured with a hint of herb - noodle is the dry varieties but was prepared properly Banh Cuon Lua ($5) - nice portion for the price - pork filling was a little bland but overall was quite good as not too many Vietnamese restaurant as that on their regular menu Fast service, decent food and affordable prices made Pho Mi 99 the place to go if you have a craving for Vietnamese food when you are in the area.

Found a sharp broken part of a dish in my pho!! and plaster in my chicken...what is going on in their kitchen??? Will never order again !

We recently ordered pad thai, fried rice and spring rolls from here. The food was delicious, no question about it. I did find their food to be overly greasy though. I want to order their pho next time, just to see if I ordered the wrong items.

This has got to be the most generous Pho place in the GTA. For the price that you pay to get an extra large pho is beyond amazing. The quality of the food is superb and the quantity is well worth the price. I don't live near the square one area and am far from Pho 99, but when I get a chance to be around the mall area it is a delight to stop at Pho 99. Always high quality delicious food for a great price. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and the staff is friendly.

I normally come here for the pho, but I decided to try something new. I ordered the Grilled Pork Chop and Fried Egg on Rice. It took a while for the food to come and it looked very appetizing at first. The pork chop didn't taste fresh and neither did the vegetables that came with the dish. The egg was good, but I'm sure no one can make a bad egg. My mom ordered a bowl of pho and normally it comes with a side of bean sprouts and extra vegetables. However, it didn't! My mom had to call the waiter over and tell him she was missing a separate plate of bean sprouts. As I was finishing my meal, I started to feel very queasy. Most of the time when I use the washroom here, there is absolutely no toilet paper. There is also no wifi here. On the other hand, they play rather good music, typically what you'd hear on the radio. I would not recommend this place whatsoever.

I visited here a few years back and remember being very happy with the food and service. My visit, last night, was a huge disappointment. I ordered the shrimp rolls and #003 and the meat balls and chicken pho #225, I believe. The pho came out quickly and was a good sized portion, but, it was very difficult to get any extra lime. For an XL portion I received just one slice the size of about a dime. When I asked for more, I was given 2, even smaller pieces. Also, although I appreciated that it came out fast, my noodles weren't thoroughly cooked yet, the chicken did not taste fresh and the meatballs were, unusually, hard. As I mentioned, I also ordered the shrimp rolls, but, my server, seemed, to forget about them. When my pho was finished I had to ask for them and when they came out they also didn't seem to be made freshly. Lastly, my teapot was empty halfway through the meal and even though, there was more staff than customers there I wasn't checked on, even once, and practically had to beg for the check. As an aside the chopsticks were served in a container upside down so that the eating portions were easily brushed by every dirty or clean hand reaching for them. I may go again as my first experience was pretty good, but, I might just cross them off my list. Life's too short.

I ordered an XL sized pho off UberEats and it was the biggest thing ever omg. The meats were tender and tendon and tripe were cooked just right. Packing was with care and condiments were all present as well as they listened to instructions written on app. Broth was ok, not too sweet nor too salty or anything weird. One minus is that sometimes the meat is too fatty which makes it chewy and hard to swallow.

The worst vermicelli, fresh spring rolls and rice dishes I've ever had at a pho place. Everything somehow tastes like dishwater and the cutlery is always dirty. So disappointing and waste of a good location. I kept wanting to give it another chance but it was just a waste of my money. You know it's bad when even the employees were making Kraft Dinner on a stove top at the cash register.

I believe this is actually one of the only pho places around my work. They've been dropping like flies but this one has stuck around. Like always, pho pilgrimage rules apply to my visit here this time. So, upon ordering, I noticed they don't have only shrimp fresh rolls so I got pork/shrimp rolls. I also had their "special 99" bowl. Basically the same as every other place. The first taste of the broth was quite nice. I tasted a bunch of basil already in it which was kinda nice. The broth was alright, but could have used a bit more back end flavour and less salt to compensate (or msg). The 2nd test was the rare beef. It was surprisingly still rare (which is how I like it) when I took it out. After a taste it was definitely one of the better beef slices I've had in a while. I would still like it ruby red rare though when they bring it out. I guess they rarely do that anymore? The rest of the ingredients were alright... The beef balls were kinda nothing special, the tendon was a cake of tendon (I'd rather have it in long chunks), and the brisket was not bad. The fresh rolls were kinda disappointing. On one hand, they put basil and noodles in it fresh and you could taste it. On the other hand... where the heck was the pork and the shrimp? Hiding? I think I found some behind a piece of basil? As far as close to my work goes, this place wins the battle so far.

I've been to quite a few Vietnamese restaurants and while they were ok, this one is really one of the better ones. They are very clean, efficient and fast. I've had their Pho with beef which was VERY tasty and the prices are cheap for the amount that you get. I've also had the Bun Bi and it was delicious as well. Great spring rolls too!

This is one of my favorite places to have Vietnamese beef noodle soup because it was a tradition growing up with my family. Now we come less often because we have moved to Mississauga west and there are closer ones. They have always been friendly and courteous and have never said no to a request. One of the only places that will switch the rice to veggies for me and not charge me. Everything tastes fresh and I love their avocado shakes (ask for low sugar). Try their vinegared hot peppers on the table, they pack a great kick! Lunch is busy so just walk in make eyes with the server and grab ask seat!

Based on the good comments my family and I decided to try this restaurant. Glad we did! Although we were new to the ordering process we enjoyed our food of choice. A bit bothered of the lack of customer service (I.e. no one checks on you while you eat so we had to wave to get someone's attention). The restaurant was clean and spacious. I highly recommend this restaurant to those visiting Toronto, Canada.

We all decided to give in to our craving for pho. One person did a quick internet search that brought us to Pho Mi 99. We arrived as the lunch rush was in full swing and were very happy to be seated immediately. Note that diners are expected to write down their own orders on the order form provided. Each of us ordered the pho combo with everything (#1?). Two fo us ordered "medium" portions and two ordered "large" portions. A tiny plate of sprouts, basil, lime and chilis arrived at our table. Given that all four of us ordered pho we weren't sure if this was meant for all of us to share or if three more plates would be arriving. Yup, it was meant for us to share. After a 15 minute wait our food arrived and the bowls were HUGE. What they consider a medium serving would be a large or extra large where I'm from. Whoa! The large portion could have easily fed 3 people! And no, none of us were able to finish our dishes. The noodles were slightly chewy and perfectly cooked, the broth was hot, rich and flavorful and the meat was abundant (more than I've ever received for a "medium" portion). Conversation was kept at a minimum as we happily slurped our noodles. This place is clean, crowded and filled with people that seemed really happy to be there. Portions are HUGE, the food is good and prices are very reasonable. What more could you ask for? Patrons seemed to range from office workers to housewives to construction workers. A good place for lunch. There is no way a person can leave here hungry.

Pho-nomenal! To die Pho! Pho Real! Cheap puns aside, this place was great. I am a simple man. I like what I like. I would typically order some variation of grilled pork chop and beef cubes on rice when dining at other Vietnamese places in the area. I ordered the same at Pho 99 when I dined for the first time a couple weeks ago. Never has the portion been as big or as tasty. The service was excellent and the décor was nice as well. Tucked away in the Mississauga Market plaza next to the Toys R' Us, this spot is easy to miss. Don't miss it.

Must try! One of the best vietnamese restaurants I've been to! Drove 40 minutes but it was worth it!!! The food here is delicious, great portions, love the drinks (tried avocado, lychee, and durian so far...they're all very flavorful and refreshing!). The service is quick and the staffs are friendly. Very clean place.

3.5/5! I LOOOOOOVE pho! It's a mad real craving and I don't always have it so when I do, I'm critical about everything. I went with an old friend to catch up and frankly, my rating is best more on her dish than mine. We went for lunch around noon and both order the Special 99 beef soup which comes as the broth with all types of beef (brisket, tendons, meatballs, strips, etc), tripe, and noodles. It was nice and warm, very filling and adding Sriracha really cleared up my sinuses (suffering from a cold at the moment lol). My friend ordered the exact same dish but had asked for no onions. I don't know if they interpreted that in a different way but they didn't give her onions (good) but they also didn't give her any of the meatballs or tripe. She still enjoyed it but felt a bit jipped. I took out the tendons from my bowl when it came but that's just preference. Also, I actually haven't tried pho anywhere other than pho mi 99 so next time I'll definitely expand my horizons. We both got medium sized bowls and all together with tax was $14.39 (a little under $8 each) which I think is pretty good considering the quality and quantity you get. Definitely recommend, I'll be trying their fish balls and shrimp bowl next time :)

When I travel to Toronto, I always make a point to come here. There food is very good. I like their entrees and appts. Calamari, wings, chow mein and their rice dishes. Their won ton is good too. Friendly staff and good food. Very reasonable too!!!
