The interior is very beautiful, not usually what I see at good pho restaurants. The food is amazing and delicious with great portions and reasonable prices. I wish I had stopped here sooner. Got the grilled chicken rice and egg roll, the #18 pho beef brisket flank and tripe. We also got grilled pork egg rolls but they were eaten very fast. Would recommend.

The service! The food! The atmosphere! 😍😍😍 This place is so cute! My roommate and I went for dinner, so it was even more charming at night! This place is such a vibe - it's so dreamy & has such a romantic aesthetic, as well as a vibe of wonderment & fancy like a scene out of Neverland from Peter Pan - making it a great place for couples, friends and family. As someone who's really into visual aesthetics, I enjoy a restaurant with really good food that also has a beautifully designed interior ☺ The service was insanely WOW! By chance, we just happened to go on a Friday night, but there was so much waitstaff, the entire process was just so smooooooth. I think in total, we had 5 different servers & bussers service us 😅 but that just made more of an impact on the overall experience. Lastly, the food was really great. The quality & freshness of ingredients really showed in the vibrant colors & presentation of their dishes. The food was rich & flavorful, but not heavy or greasy. Overall, definitely look forward to trying more of their menu. Another great place for me to acquire a better appreciation for Pho 🙏

Google
Delicious 🤌 consistent quality, fast service, and fair pricing. Hardly ever a wait. This is our go to Pho place (we live in the heights). Our neighbors also go here. We get pho, Banh Mi, and grilled pork spring rolls everytime

Google
Great place if you want some good quality food! Outstanding service, nice ambience and I was impressed at how quick we were seated and taken care of. The food was ready in a matter of seconds no joke. This place was really good because not only did the food taste good, the staff were amicable and made sure we felt welcomed and appreciated. It was my first time here and I got the vegetarian pho and spring rolls. Vermicelli which was good as well. They have a whole section in the menu with vegetarian options ! I loved my soup it was super tasty and delicious. Great flavor!! I recommend this place !! The restaurant was clean, the restrooms were clean and it was an overall great experience !!!

Pho Ben has become my favorite spot for pho. After trying their rice dishes I became addicted to come back to eat their food. #49 beef and rice is a very good meal. Also the Rice and chicken with salad and egg roll is my favorite.Salad is crispy fresh.Chicken taste great and the rice is yummy and fresh Highly recommend. All servers and bussers are the best. They walk the extra mile to provide you with an exceptional service. Tables are always clean and even though they get busy.,they always manage to find a clean table for you.always with a smile. They serve your food in real time. You dont wait extra time for your meal. They serve you fast and polite, always checking on you. These team really make sure you are satisfied with your visit to their restaurant.Pho is delicious Combination is the best highly recommend. Google
New fave spot for bánh mì! I keep coming back just for the amazing bánh mì and their delicious lemonade. The food comes out FAST, which I love, and the egg rolls are soooo good. I’ve done carry-out before, but this time when I dined in, the manager came over to check on us, such a nice personal touch! Great food, fast service, and definitely a place I’ll be returning to!

Google
This is one of the good spots for pho and wonton noodle soup!!! The broth for the wonton noodle soup was really good. The spring roll was good but the peanut sauce was a little bit too strong but still good. The Thai tea is pretty much almost the same to other pho places. The chili oil is NOT your ordinary chili oil. I think it's homemade. I would definitely come back here and try out their banh mi and spicy beef soup.

Google
The food selection was exactly what I expected and the prices were reasonable. Service was quick and the food arrived not long after we ordered. During our meal, several different staff members came by with questions in a short span of time. It gave the impression that we were being moved along a little faster than necessary. The food was very good, but I would have preferred a more relaxed pace.

Yelp
We wanted to check out a Vietnamese place closeby without having to commit all the way to Bellaire and saw this on google with pretty high reviews. When you walk in, you're confronted with a beautifully decorated dining room that was small enough to be cozy feeling but large enough to seat many people (our party was a group of 6!) We were quickly seated and they promptly took our order which we appreciated. Most of my table ordered pho which they all raved about it! The broth was rich and flavorful with the fresh herbs to pair. I got the Bo Kho and the beef was very tender but I do think the broth could've been a bit more rich with more in depth flavor. Overall, with a great price to match, I'll definitely be coming back!!

Yelp
Finished off a day of grinding for school with a bowl of pho from Pho Ben in the heights. This is one of their many locations, with the original being in sugarland. The inside of the restaurant was decorated soo nicely, it definitely seems welcoming. I got a small pho đặc biệt, which is the special so I get a little of everything. This includes eye of round steak, well done flank, fatty brisket, soft tendon, and white beef tripe. Even though I got a small, the bowl itself is still very big and they give you a very generous amount of meat. I personally prefer the rare beef over the well done beef so if I were to come again then I'd request rare beef only. The meat itself overall was pretty good though. The noodles were a bit undercooked but I was ok with it. I felt like the broth itself could've been a little more stronger in the beef flavor as well. I would say this is a pho bowl that gets the job done. I usually refrain from ordering pho at Vietnamese restaurants since my mom makes it at home, and nothing will top that.

Yelp
Ambiance: Very nice and modern in the inside. When you see the outside of the building you wouldn't think it was nice or big, but looks are deceiving. It has a very nice interior and can sit lots of people! Food 8/10: The food always slaps here! I usually get any of the Phos and the pork Banh Mi. The broths is light and tasty and when you mix all the fixings it's really good! Great when you're having an off or sick day! It's very filling and refreshing. The Bahn Mi always slaps, especially the pork one. I've gotten the beef and pate one before, but think the pork is by fair the best. It has a more savory taste that pairs excellent with the pho. I order here at least once a month and know that it's consistently good. Price wise, it's pretty reasonable and you definitely get more bang for your buck here! The wait time for take out orders is also incredibly fast, usually ready in 15 minutes!

Yelp
This is simply a go-to spot in town! It's got a great atmosphere, chic decor for a Pho spot and MUCH cheaper than most of your new "hip" pho spots in central Houston. I am a big advocate of their spring rolls because they use their banh mi meat and it is just out of this world! I haven't found many spots that serve a more unique menu of spring rolls. Their pho is delicious, it's got plenty of flavor and a great feel good dish after a busy week. I highly recommend this place, the people here are so welcoming!

Yelp
The food was fresh and the flavor was off the charts. When I'm back in Houston, Pho Ben will certainly be a top choice to revisit.

Yelp
Apparently I come here at least once a week. Food is so affordable and fresh and quickly made. The cafe sua de or the Vietnamese iced coffee is where it's at. It's so strong it causes tachycardia and you can split it over two days or over the course of a long day.

Yelp
I went to pho ben here in bellaire and it was FANTASTIC. I ordered Uber eats thinking it was bellaire but it was Shepard.. excited for the food it came and I'm so disappointed! Not sure if it's the same owner or separate but I won't go back to Shepard. I paid 4.95 for two sides for round steak.. and it was boiled! Not appetizing at all

Yelp
From a Vietnamese perspective... a rare combination of excellent food AND service. Greeted immediately and sat quickly for a big group during the busy lunch rush during the peak of the Lunar New Year. Restaurant is well decorated, with great displays explaining Vietnamese food and words. Food was delicious, constantly checked on multiple times. Well done.

Yelp
The Vermicelli bowl with chicken and eggroll was so bland. I couldn't finish it. The spring rolls were small and just ok. The service as below par, no one smiled or welcomed or tried to engage us. Basically, it was "have you finally decided what you want?". I almost walked out,,,,,,

Yelp
Friendly staff as soon as you walk in! I took a look at the menu and everything was decently price. My sandwich was only about $6. This restaurant is located in a plaza with a Kroger Grocery store. It's so cute inside HOWEVER I ordered my food to go. My order was ready in 10 minutes. Great Vietnamese flavors! Next time I'm in Texas, I'll be visiting this place again.
google avatar

Yelp
This place sucked. The service was TERRIBLE. My friend didn't even eat her food because the chicken was "squishy". They seated us at the front so we were easily forgotten because there is a wall dividing the front from the rest of the restaurant. I ordered an iced coffee and they gave me basically an iced chocolate milk. When I sent it back he told me I would still be charged for it. I had to go back and forth with him reminding him that I didn't even drink it. The cup was still full. He finally removed it "as a one time courtesy" We took up two tables but the waitress kept putting the food and drinks on one table for us to personally pass the food around to the next person. There are so many good pho places with good service and this is not one that I recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
Pho Ben has been my go-to spot for pho in the Heights. Located in the same plaza as Kroger, there are plenty of parking available which is hard to come by for restaurants in the Heights. The interior is modern and clean. While service may be minimal, it's compensated by the impressive speed. Food typically shows up no more than 5 minutes after ordering. Flavor is solid compared to other pho places in the loop (although there are definitely more authentic options in Chinatown/Vietnamese town). Price is reasonable given the portion and location. I recommend their pho and vermicelli.
google avatar

Celine L.

Yelp
Ordered a vermicelli bowl with lemongrass chicken and bo luc lac through Uber eats. The noodles were so soft and overcooked to the point they kept splitting whenever I tried to take a bite. To top it off, there were pieces of a shrimp shell inside the veggies that came with the *chicken* vermicelli bowl, so if you have food allergies, be careful...The beef was tough and lacked any type of sear or glaze it typically should have. It was overcooked and sweet. Not worth the price at all. Overall a disappointing experience.

Yelp
Freaking amazing food. Pho chin, bahn mi, YUMMY!! Service is super quick too! The interior is cute.

Yelp
The saying goes "if you want good Phở, you have to go to Chinatown." Well folks, I live 45 minutes away from Chinatown and I'm glad Pho Ben proved that expression wrong. The menu offers a wide variety of authentic Vietnamese food includes chả giò, gỏi cuốn, bánh mì, cơm dĩa, bún thịt nướng, mì, and phở with prices ranging from $5 - $12. The restaurant is located in the Heights with a modern feel and it's truly impressive that the prices are so reasonable.

Yelp
Good pho, affordable prices, and great ambience! I loved their original location in north Houston so I had high expectations for this. We were seated immediately. Lots of space & airy ambience. Pho is still priced decently here - $10.99 for a large bowl. They don't give much meat but the broth is good & worth it. Ca phê sữa đá was also good and strong. Pay at the front when you're done. Ample parking and easy location. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
I have been craving some pho for quite some time, and with a recent head cold it seemed like a perfect excuse to order some vegan pho while in the land of great Vietnamese food. Houston has quite a few options available when it comes to vegan variations on Vietnamese food. With my seafood and shellfish allergy, finding pho without fish sauce can be quite difficult. This business was fabulous at navigating the request and made a delicious bowl of vegan pho as well as tasty avocado shakes, and fresh veggie spring rolls filled with tofu and peanut sauce. Thanks all for the helpful reviews that made finding this spot easy peasy. Our order was carry out so I can't speak for the atmosphere, but it was an overall smooth ordering process and I would definitely return. Everyone else seemed to loved their dishes as well.

Yelp
Affordable, clean, fast service and good food. Glad there are multiple locations of this place because it's worth it.
google avatar

Clara H.

Yelp
Great Vietnamese cuisine spot - a definite place to try if you're in the area, having all the classic options in good portions, for a good price. The food comes out super fast, and it's delicious and leaves you full. I had their pork vermicelli bowl with a Vietnamese coffee. The coffee was sweet but not too overwhelming, and the bowl was flavorful. The ambiance is really nice and wait staff is very attentive. Would definitely come back for Viet cravings if I was nearby.

Yelp
3 stars for my experience. I've been to this location twice and I'll say that the food is fair. This is a good spot for a quick lunch or take out. The prices are reasonable & the portions are fairly decent. I decided to order some egg rolls as an appetizer & I thought it was just okay. It wasn't piping hot which I look for. Taste wise it was pretty basic in my opinion. I ordered two soups to try. I got the bun Bo hue & pho. The pho was okay, the broth was a little bland. It wasn't terrible but it needed some help in flavor. There were some inconsistencies on the meats, some were tender & some were chewy. The bun Bo hue was not bad, just wish it had more lemon grass flavor. The stinky paste they give you adds some more depth to the soup. Smells bad but tastes good. Overall, it was a fair experience. The portions are quite generous for a small. From what I got, they showed a lot of love on the protein. The service was quick & friendly. The decor is decent & it was spacious. Will I come back? I wouldn't go out of my way to come here but if I want a quick bite I'll definitely stop by.

Yelp
Really good pho. I had the #25. It was on point. The soft tendon was delicious. Also really enjoyed their spring rolls -- rolled very tight (hate a loose spring roll). We got take-out and everything was packaged really well. That being said, the place looks really cute and I'd love to eat in at some point. They don't have an online ordering system. You have to call or go in-person. Their website (phobennoodle.com) doesn't seem like it's regularly updated but I think their menu (found on their website) is consistent across their three locations although I'm not entirely sure.
google avatar

Yelp
This is one of my favs for sure for quick meals. I recommend ordering directly from the restaurant for take out and picking it up. So much faster than DoorDash. I love everything with number 10 chargrilled pork being my favorite. The fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce are also great. The feel of the restaurant is clean and always seasonally decorated. The floors can be a tad slick. The service is fast and friendly.

Marina L.

Yelp
Ordered take out from this place with door dash and upon arrival there was a bunch of human hair and cat hair inside the food. Everything spilled. So disgusting
google avatar

Yelp
Your go to pho hit. This place has good food, and outstanding service at a low price located in a strip centre with ample parking. All your comfort good favourites. What impresses the service servers who make sure everything is jus

Yelp
This place is amazing! It is a "modernized" pho restaurant, having a very "hipster" / aesthetically pleasing scenery to it. I absolutely love it. It is very relaxing and provides a very calm environment to dine-in at. The food is amazing. The pho, banh mi (sandwiches), and appetizers are delicious. I haven't had any other items since coming here, but the Pho Dac Biet (Specialty Pho- containing multiple meats) and Banh Mi Thit Nuong (BBQ Pork Sandwich) are phenomenal. The only "flaw" I'd say about this place is how I feel rushed to order. I've come here several times, and I often get asked what I want to order before the menu even hits the table. It's a small "pet-peeve," but I'm sure other customers may feel the same way given how consistent it is every time I come here. But all in all, I love this place. Absolutely my "go to" spot for Pho in Houston. Give them a try!
google avatar

Katherine M.

Yelp
The spring rolls were very good and exactly the flavor I was wanting! I love their wide selection of meats for their pho- you can pick whatever combination you desire, and I wanted a good beef pho, and they delivered. I'm a huge broth person, and their broth was on the sweeter side for my preference. Their service was super quick, and you have to stop by for the holidays because they literally decked all of the halls with holiday decorations.

Yelp
THIS IS NOT THE BEST PHO IN HOUSTON, it's the WORST PHO. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE, as a person who supports small businesses. I am very disappointed and angry as I writing my first 1 star review ever while I want to give it negative stars. Sorry Yelp. I am outraged at this place that has such great reviews to deliver me old food from the day prior. I get Sunday is slow but it doesn't mean your quality has to suck too. My recent encounter with the large pho order has left me thoroughly disappointed, and I feel compelled to share the details of my culinary letdown. Firstly, the temperature of the pho was far from what one would expect from a hot, comforting bowl. Instead, it arrived inexplicably cold, robbing me of the anticipated warmth and satisfaction. To make matters worse, the taste was a dead giveaway that something was awry in the kitchen. The flavors lacked the freshness and vibrancy that define a well-crafted bowl of pho. It felt as though the dish had been prepared the day before, losing its essence along the way and leaving me with a subpar dining experience. The noodles were old too, it was not cooked right before this order. JUST AWFUL. SPRING ROLLS ARE NOT FRESH. They were so hard as if they were in the fridge the night prior. SERIOUSLY, do not save costs by cutting corners like this. DO YOU WANT TO FEED YOUR LOVED ONES THIS? I believe that customers, myself included, deserve better. A dish as cherished as pho should not be subjected to such lapses in quality. I implore the restaurant to take a serious look at their food preparation and delivery processes. Serving cold, day-old pho is a disservice to both the cuisine and the patrons who look forward to a satisfying meal. Let this be a reminder of the importance of upholding culinary standards and ensuring that every dish, especially one as revered as pho, is presented with the care and attention it deserves. Do not blame the door dasher since I was tracking the order when she waited to pick it up and brought it to me 1052am in the heights on Sunday Morning. No traffic and it came on time.

Yelp
Pho Ben is my favorite pho and Vietnamese food in the heart of Houston Heights. All their food is super delicious, the service is fast, and the location has plenty of parking spots for all your friends and family when you visit. The pho broth is so delicious, and I love how well-seasoned it is. My top pick is #18 with chili oil, coconut juice, and Thai tea. The ambiance is cute and inviting. The restaurant is well decorated and can be a spot for a pho date.

Angel Y.

Yelp
very del and very nice I love this place would recommend it was sooooo goood like best pho I've every had 19191811910/10

Michelle F.

Yelp
Pho used to be better. The broth is just 5/10. The quality of meats/rice noodle is 7/10. Not sure it is worth the $17-18/bowl that I paid for. It's just OK this time. It was a togo on a tuesday night.
google avatar

Lily H.

Yelp
I was really impressed with Pho Ben! The decor of the restaurant is so cute! It's modern, open, and clean... which is a nice change from the old fashioned pho places. When we arrived, we got sat immediately... the staff was very quick with service and food came out within a few minutes. All their dishes were good... even their non pho dishes. I will definitely be back when visiting Houston!
google avatar

Victoria W.

Yelp
I visited Pho Ben after a night out and indulged in some comforting dishes. The Pho Tai at $9.99 was a good-sized portion, though a tad salty, it still hit the spot. The grilled pork spring rolls priced at $4.50 were a classic and, as always, tasted great. a perfect combo!
google avatar

Melodi D.

Yelp
Definitely my new go-to pho restaurant near the Heights/Montrose area. The ambiance of the place is super cute--has the feel of a trendy restaurant while still serving great food. The service was also super impressive; even coming in on a Friday night, we were seated immediately and our food came out quick. For the food, I ordered the vegetarian spring rolls and chicken pho (white meat) and loved both of them! I look forward to coming back and trying more menu items. Overall highly recommend!
google avatar

Katherine C.

Yelp
This place used to be my favorite, so it makes me sad to write this. The bun bo hue just gets more and more watery, then banh mi bread is now awful. Think squishy, white bread from the generic store, not French bread. Th service continues to be great, but I can't come back for the food anymore:(
google avatar

emily c.

Yelp
I get takeout here a lot since it's fast and the parking is pretty convenient. The food is not overfilling and enough for dinner. I don't really get the pho here even though a lot of people do. My husband said it was ok also. I find the broth a little too dark for my taste. The spring rolls here are good and not very expensive we usually get 2 orders. It's usually pretty busy here Sunday nights.
google avatar

Mariel T.

Yelp
Good value Vietnamese spot. We got the vermicelli with lemon grass pork, fresh spring rolls, and the pho with lean brisket and steak round. It was more than enough for two!
google avatar

Akhilesh B.

Yelp
With so many good Vietnamese restaurants in Houston, the competition is though and Pho Ben doesn't shy away from it. This place has good ambience, and served one of the really delicious food in town. Their vermicelli bowls and pho are my go to!
google avatar

John M.

Yelp
It's hard to find REALLY good pho outside of Bellaire, I have to admit. Even in Bellaire, so many places use powders or bouillon instead of putting in the long hours for a 18-24 hour simmer session for their beef bones (like how I make it at home...30 years and going strong on making pho at home). But back to Pho Ben. In the several I have tried in the Heights, Midtown, Downtown area, Pho Ben has it for me hands down. Great stock, flavored well with aromatics, noodles always cooked firmly and not soggy, and fresh bean sprouts and herbs. We also love the bun thit nuong there as well. Same principle...quality ingredients and produced, prepared well.
google avatar

Kristina N.

Yelp
Finally, a pho restaurant in the Heights! Pho Ben is a typical pho restaurant that serves mostly pho as well as other Vietnamese dishes. Such dishes include vermicelli, banh mi, rice, noodles, etc. They're generally busy but I don't usually have to wait long for a table and there's always carry out options as well. My go to orders: - #20 Pho Tai Nam Gau ($8.49 small) - 4/5 - meat and broth quality is not the best but decent for being 5 minutes from me - #73a Bun Bo Hue ($8.99 small) - 4/5 - it's rare to see BBH on menus outside Asian town area. Decently made, could be spicier - #1 Cha gio ($3.50 for two) - 4/5 Overall, I would come back, because I am always craving pho! It's located in the same plaza as Kroger so there are plenty of parking.
google avatar

Mari D.

Yelp
This is one of my closer Pho spots for when I do not want to go to the Bellaire area. The service is always quick and efficient. Pho is consistent, I've been here a few times and each time I dine in it mirrors my last visit. Although it is always busy you don't have to wait long. Food is good and if you're near by I would definitely check it out.
google avatar

Mitchell H.

Yelp
Tried something different and it was a treat! I'm not a huge ramen lover but, I needed something more soup like this night. I opted for spring rolls, and a bowl w/ some spice. Service is interesting; it's like the round robin, and everyone is checking on you. It's a cool concept to ensure no guest are overlooked.
google avatar

Rose M.

Yelp
Best pho I've ever had hands down! Staff was great I loved the inside super cute it was a nice vibe will be going here from now on.
google avatar

Nina V.

Yelp
If you're craving Vietnamese food, look no further!! There is a great variety of Vietnamese dishes offered, and the quality of the food is great. Also the prices are very reasonable!! The large pho dac biet was only $10, egg rolls/spring rolls were about $5-6. The pho had a really great taste to the broth and there was plenty of meat. Usually my pho dac biet's have beef balls, but this restaurant does not. I would say the egg rolls were a bit too soft for my taste so I'd pass on that next time. We ordered banh mi's to-go, which were not bad but not amazing either. They were cheap though, so I'd get it again if I needed a meal for the next day after I dine here for dinner or something. I'll be back!

Gerardo L.

Yelp
We love it here! It has been a staple of Vietnamese food for us! Service here is great, quick, and friendly. Everything on the menu is delicious and they play great music inside the restaurant. There is ample of parking and overall we love this restaurant!
google avatar

Jessica S.

Yelp
Service was super prompt on a weekend day as a walk in. Ambiance was super fun with great music playing in the background. Got the grilled beef ban mi which had a good amount of meat and viet mayo. The grilled chicken spring roll was on the smaller end but delicious nonetheless. The Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef vermicelli) was great too but I feel lacked more depth and spice than anticipated. Would definitely come back for the fried egg rolls I saw everyone else getting!
google avatar

Jacob D.

Yelp
I really like the modern aesthetic with the low lighting. Makes pho approachable for new comers. Service is quick; you'll probably have a bowl in Front of you within 10 mins after sitting. The soups are good, right balance of flavors here, and it comes out hot with all the fixings. The bang mi sandwiches could be better put together, the proportions could use a little bit more of the veg and little less bread to round it out.

Brenda H.

Yelp
worst pho in the world, no real chilli oil. Bring your own... the service was fast and kinda nice and the inside looks good.
google avatar

Alexis C.

Yelp
Everything I've ordered from here has been well priced and great in taste. I usually would Door Dash spring rolls and Banh Mi but decided to drop into the store one day for a bite...the restaurant is actually really nice! Definitely give this place a try!
google avatar

Lauren R.

Yelp
I really wanted good pho for my bday so we came here because the reviews were good! I was surprised with how large the inside was, and it was packed which was a good sign (Friday night). We only had to wait 5 min for a table though. The decor and ambiance inside is so cute and trendy, plus they have Christmas decor up which feels very festive. After we were seated we were helped with drinks and taking our order immediately. I've never had such fast service at a side down restaurant. I highly recommend reviewing the menu before you go. After we ordered the food came out in 5 min (reminder that it was nearly full with every table taken!). It was hot and fresh and just what I wanted! I got the chicken pho and the broth was very good. It also was only like $11-$12 for a large which I find good pricing since I just moved from Austin and it was hard to find good pho at that price. Will def come back. Everything about the experience was great!
