My favorite place to get pho. The broth is spiced perfectly.

We’ve tried many pho spots around DFW, and this one is hands down our favorite. The food quality is excellent, and our server, Kelly, was amazing—friendly and attentive. The space is large with plenty of seating, and everything is very clean. Highly recommend! We’re already back for our second visit!

I've been coming to Big Bowl for a while now and it is my go-to place for pho. The staff are friendly, the service is excellent, and the food is absolutely top notch. More often than not, our food comes out quickly. I often get the Lean Brisket Pho (P8, if I recall), my wife gets the P10, and my daughter gets the plain fried rice. I also highly recommend the C7 and the Bahn Mi (both pork and chicken) are the best I've had. Their tea is delicious and consistent as well. I've tried other places in the area and, while they're good, Big Bowl beats them out, at least for me. I've brought friends here because I believe they will enjoy it as much as I do. It's the staff and consistency of the food that keep me coming back.

Google
Order the large combination pho bowl. The broth was ok; it did not have the depth of flavor and a little sweet from sugar. The meat was tough, and the noodles were ok. The service was fast and did not come back after delivering the food. This is normal for most asian places. Since the food was

This place was so good,I had the pho and it’s well seasoned, the meat was well done, 5 stars 100%

Google
My favorite phở restaurant north of 820. I've been a regular here for years, and it's always good to see the owner. I recommend the phở, try the different meats to see what your favorite is. The broth changes depending on the day, but it's never disappointing. The Bahn Mi is good, but the Best Appetizer is either the shrimp spring roll, or the crab rangoon. The caphe suadua is good, and you really should try the limeade tea.

Google
his place completely shattered any preconceived notions I had about strip mall restaurants. We were craving some pho—one of my friends had never tried it before—so we went all in and ordered over $160 worth of food. We got rangoons, spring rolls, kids meals, five different pho dishes, and two Vietnamese coffees. We ordered everything to-go, and while it did take a little while to prepare, it was obvious they were putting care into every order. The gentleman at the counter was super friendly and kept us entertained the whole time. Great people here. When we got back to the house, everything in the order was spot-on. The broth was still piping hot, and every single item was delicious. Even the kids’ meals were massive—easily enough to feed two adults—so that’s a great way to stretch your dollar if you’re looking to save a bit. Highly recommend this spot. We’ll definitely be back!

Google
Decent place to get a bowl of pho. Prices are slightly higher than the ones in Haltom but its to be expected. Flavor wise it was OK, noodles were cooked well with a nice firm chewy texture

Google
Very friendly since my family and I arrived. Very attentive to what my family asked for my kids are very picky eaters but this time they loved anything I had them try. Amazing pho! The best I’ve tasted so far and great prices. My wife and I are new in this side of town and been looking for a good PHO place and I can honestly said we’ve found it! Highly highly recommend!! Most definitely coming back!

Yelp
Place is clean, service is fast, and food is delicious. Today's broth was on point again. Combination pho was slurped all the way down to the bottom of the bowl. I need to remind myself I don't want tripe or their meatballs until I decide to try it again. This is where my boyfriend, now husband, first took me on a date and I finished the bowl then. Consistency is the best way to win me over so I don't have trust issues. Always get a banh mi thit nuong even if you're full. Take it home and eat it later.

Yelp
Ok so I'm a little bit sad that I got this food to go...I have never ordered pho to go before cuz I rest like to doctors my bowl up so I felt like I missed out on the endless possibilities of condiments.... lol when I walked in everyone was super friendly. I ordered a mixed meat bowl with extra tendon every thing was super fresh and a good portion for it to be to go.... I had to find a bowl big enough to fix it in and as you can see it barely fix! The best thing hands down though were the fresh spring rolls with the meat can't remember if it was beef or pork but I do remember there were delicious!!!

Yelp
Went there with the boys since they needed hangover food. We got there right when they opened. We were greeted and sat down immediately. The restaurant had a lot of tables but was still very spacious. The staff was very friendly. Everyone ordered pho but I opted for Bo Kho with noodles and it did not disappoint. Food was great and service was fast.

Yelp
Amazing spot. Having been to Vietnam myself, this place comes very close if not better than some of the pho I've had there. Also their banh mi's are so fresh and flavorful. They also give BIG portions.

Yelp
The food was delicious I had grilled pork spring roll, crab ragoons, charbroiled pork chop rice plate. It was so delicious and I will be back and the service was great and fast and it was very pleasant being there Thankyou

Yelp
I absolutely love this place! My parents found it a while back when they first opened and we have been getting Pho from there since then. I'm a big fan of the Combination Pho, it's always hot and fresh! Their spring rolls are some of my favorite as well. The service here is fantastic! They're always so nice every time we come in and they make sure you're taken care of. I enjoy the smaller location and that it's not overly crowded on days I go, although I wish more people knew how great this place is! 10/10

Ally A.

Yelp
This place is my regular place for me and my spouse we always go to. The staff here is amazing and so sweet. The atmosphere is so homey and cozy. I am in love with all their food items, we typically stick to Pho and the noodles for as often as I come I have a lot of respect for the consistency that they serve. It's always top tier and would HIGHLY recommend if you're looking for some traditional tastiness.

Yelp
I am disappointed in myself... that I didn't try Pho Big Bowl sooner! Delicious Pho and Banh Mis at a reasonable price. The restaurant is in a quaint strip mall, but don't let the location fool you - they are cooking up something delicious here. As I read through reviews of Pho places the biggest sticking point is always the flavor of the broth. In my opinion the broth is very flavorful, but if you feel as though there is something missing, there are various accoutrements to spruce of the Pho - even MSG. As it gets towards winter, I would recommend everyone in the area try pho big bowl to warm up!

Yelp
Overall, good if you're craving simply noodle soups and no other options around, bad for authentic broth. Reviewing from a frequent pho/BBH eater. We tried this place because it looked authentic, and has a branch in Carrollton. We typically go to My Lan or Richardson/Garland. Broth (2/10): Recommend BBH over pho, although neither were authentic nor piping hot. Not homemade bone broth, tasted like canned broth. The pho broth tasted bland yet salty, lacked bone flavor, and has a long aftertaste- it has MSG so that's not why it lacked flavor. BBH's broth tasted as BBH should, got lemongrass and shrimp paste seasoning. Noodles (5/10): Pho's noodle was good. BBH came with thin hard noodles not thick as most BBH are. Big portion for both. Meats (8/10): While everything else was mediocre, the meat options stood out. Meatball is unique, brisket and tendon are just right. Veggies (3/10): Not much option for that here. They charge for extra side items like limes (0.20 each) among other things. Sparse green onions in pho. No cabbage/lemongrass for BBH. Service 2/10 but we don't need much. Chilly inside. We had both size large (not very big), $13 each.

Yelp
Delicious traditional Vietnamese food for a great price. Our go to takeout place for their spring rolls, chargrilled pork, egg rolls, and pho. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I'm very picky when it comes to pho. Beef pho was Very very very yummy, EXCELLENT BROTH. I got the brisket beef pho. Not sure who on here said it tasted like canned broth, def not true. Worth the 45 mins drive! Great English speaking staff. Asked for a lot of jalapeños and bean sprouts and they didn't charge like someone else said on here. Have tried maybe 12-13 pho places (Richardson, Plano, Allen) and this is by far the best one yet!

Yelp
I have lived in Watauga for 23 years and finally decided to try this restaurant. Unfortunately the appearance of the food was not good, I ordered chicken fried rice and the meat was Gray, and unfortunately it gave me diarrhea for 2 days and made me sick to my stomach. I do not recommend and would not go back any place that makes me ill is definitely not worth another shot.

Yelp
Pho Big Bowl's pho consistently impresses with a rich broth, fresh ingredients, and perfect noodle-meat balance. Charlie's warm greeting adds a personal touch, making each visit memorable. My family tries every pho restaurant when we travel, but Pho Big Bowl is still the best we've had. The broth is rich and perfectly seasoned, the noodles are never overcooked, and the fresh ingredients make each bowl stand out. Charlie, the owner, always takes a moment to say hello, adding a personal touch that makes every visit feel special. If you're looking for a consistently amazing bowl of pho, Pho Big Bowl is the place to go.

Yelp
It's been years since I've been here for a bowl of pho. My daughter and I were craving it so we decided to make the drive. It smelled so good as soon as we walked in. A really nice man greeted us and sat us at a booth. The decor is simple and everything looked very clean and the waiter was very helpful and attentive. The first thing I noticed is the price increase. I was last here pre Covid so I expected it but was a little surprised that a large bowl of pho was $13.even from a picture posted a year ago that is quite a jump. Prices aside I was excited to eat. We ordered the large beef pho with steak, brisket, and tendon, a regular beef pho with just steak, and 2 egg rolls. The bill came to $30.85. The broth was amazing! It is so hot and flavorful before adding any extras. I love that they aren't shy with the basil, beans sprouts, and jalapeños. We definitely used everything. My only complaint is that the noodles were over cooked and mushy :'( that was a big bummer because it's my favorite part. I left most of the noodles behind and ate all of the broth and meat. And the egg rolls were super crispy and delicious! Overcooked noodles aside I left super full and happy and would return to try other dishes and give the pho another chance.

Yelp
Chicken Pho, Chicken Fried Rice All this rain has put my household under the weather. I decided to research some of the top pho restaurants in the area, and this one was the highest recommended. Well worth the visit. I went in and ordered ToGo. Fast service, friendly workers. No wait. If dining in, sit wherever you like -- seat yourself. Restaurant is in a strip shopping c niter next to the Watauga Bingo Hall. Parking is open. The Poker Lounge is also in the Regency Square Shopping Center.

Yelp
If you have a service animal do not come here. I was demanded to provide papers for my dog for service. When I refused they also refused business to me. As the federal law and Texas, I do not need to provide such thankfully due to the ACA or known as Americans with Disability act. This is an invasion of privacy and breaks HIPAA laws. There are a million other better small businesses to support than these people. https://gov.texas.gov/organization/disabilities/assistance_animals

Yelp
I've tried a few pho places around my location in fort worth, and to be honest, most of them were let downs. I find that pho big bowl has the best soup base for pho around here. While its not the same quality/flavor as the ones back in southern California, its pretty dang good. I've ate here as well as order to go, and have been surprised at the food and service both times. We typically get the pho dac biet, spring rolls or and a banh mi. The pho was solid both times we got it. The pork spring rolls were also decent and it comes with fish sauce. The banh mi was on the smaller size, but it was filling. This place is located in a fairly large strip mall. Plenty of parking out in front. Protip: If you check in on yelp, you'll get a free drink with an entrée if you're dining in.

Yelp
It's ducked off, but the flow was still there. Two gentlemen, great service and hospitality. Pho, refreshing. My noodles. The combination of veggies, noodle and protein.. just yum. Egg roll was fresh and flavorful. I loved my Vietnamese coffee. Definitely worth the drive from Crowley/35. Top 5. There is plenty of room.

Yelp
Beef stew with egg noodles delish and pork spring rolls fresh and tasty. Really delish the restaurant itself was very nice and clean and pleasant. Staff and service was friendly and quick.

Yelp
A few people have told my husband that Pho Big Bowl was good, so he wanted to try it. I was down, of course. I know there is one in Carrollton, but have not tried it. Our first visit, I got their version of Bo Bun Hue. I've had BBH many times, but I'm no expert, but this tasted different from the BBH I've had. I know different areas of Vietnam have their own variations, but still was slightly confused. It tasted more like their pho but spicy. It was delicious though! I really liked it!! Second time we came, I wanted a rice dish, so I got lemongrass chicken. Love lemongrass, so I really liked this dish. It's a good alternative to going to Haltom City!!

Yelp
Food was amazing and the person who attend us was really pleasant. . Very quite cute restaurant.

Yelp
Amazing pho! Love the pho and the shrimp spring rolls! Super relaxing restaurant to sit and eat. We were immediately greeted by staff when we arrived and were treated so kindly. Love this place!!! Definitely new go-to spot for pho!

Yelp
Really good food, everything is great. Definitely a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Their service is quick and polite.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place! I have had Pho all over the US and little did I know one of the best I've had is so close to home. Staff is great super friendly and kind. Small place nestled in a shopping center but does have plenty of seating if you have a large party.

Yelp
I have truly had the best seafood Pho ever! This Place on the inside is such a well put together, spacious mom and pop restaurant I've visited. The ambiance is truly nice with Jazz music playing in the background!! It's so clean you can literally eat off the floors! Be sure to also get the grilled pork spring rolls for your appetizer. Definitely adding this to my new.....new Pho go to spot!!

Yelp
Simple interior but amazing flavor for pho. I tried both chicken and beef pho and my golly the chicken broth was so so flavorful I was so pleased. Probably best chicken pho I've ever had and I've been to 125482727 pho shops. Also my server was amazing. Thanks! Only wish there was more meat but other than that

Yelp
Let me start off about the portions ... it's pretty decent compared to other popular pho places out there. I was pretty surprised how big the bowl was for the large and how much noodles and meat is in it. The taste? It's pretty whatever. It's bland and missing that umami flavor. Service is okay and slow. Two of the bowls we had had lukewarm broth while the last one was piping hot. I asked for a side of meat and onions and they didn't understand that part. The forgot to bring the onions out but that's okay. Egg rolls came out last after everyone finished their bowl of pho. I would have to say if you don't care about taste and like the biggest bang for your buck this is the place to be. Otherwise... go somewhere else for the flavor. The lady at the front was super nice and I enjoy the service!

Yelp
I tried this place out today while visiting my father in Fort Worth, TX. I really enjoyed eating here. The food was prepared really fast. Staff was very friendly but was not too attentive to our needs for refills. The place wasn't busy at either. However, I will definitely recommend this place for anyone in the mood for some pho. There is no buffet here but for the price of the food you really can't complain. The facility s clean looking and windows to see outside in the parking area! I was like man this place isn't dark like most places are that you walk into. They have plenty of seating. I did like the bar stool area. All the silverware, spoons, chop sticks, and condiments are at the tables. If you need to make adjustments to your order they will do that for you too. The bowls of the pho are perfectly portioned right for the average eater. One thing this place nice and quiet.

Yelp
In need of some Good Pho today..And my Yelp brothers and Sisters opened my eyes and stomach to make this stop. I walked and greeted immediately. From the outside the resturant looked smaller but once entering I realized this is a nice size place. I started my lunch with the Grilled chicken Spring Rolls. I must say they were the best looking Grilled chicken spring rolls that I've ever seen. The were light on the stomach and tender for the chew. I then order med my Pho Ga' . (Chicken). It was hot and the chicken was just as tender as the grilled chicken earlier. I will be back. With this kind of service and this good of food I understand the positive vibe about the resturant.
google avatar

Tina B.

Yelp
So many people recommended this place as one of the best in the area so I wanted to try it out for myself. Egg rolls was nice and crunchy but tasted frozen. However I did enjoy their bowl of pho.

Yelp
The food is good for your average Vietnamese restaurant, but service and lack of transparency in reciept leaves you disappointed. I ordered water and was never refilled. I had to ask for more once my glass was completely dry. I ordered a side rice for my 2 yr old, and they decided to upgrade her to a kids' plate which I had stated I did not want a kids plate for her. She could not eat it, she's two. They forgot to put in my order at all, so I shared the kids' plate with my 2 yo and my 10-year-old finished hers when they realized I didn't have a plate. I told them not to worry about it we were ready to go, but they rushed it, and since I shared my kids' food, not having mine, they shared with me. We bused our own table because they never cleared any plates off. I went to pay, and the bill was more than $10 over what it should have been. I questioned it. The owner said "you ordered wonton?" No.. I did not. Then the waitor says it is because they upgraded my child's play. That should have been $5 more not $10. They did not show me the ticket just stood by the $40 for 1 adult plate, "2" kids, water and thai tea. I won't be back, Ms Saigon in Hurst is much better, and if open, I will make the drive instead.

Yelp
Been goin here for a while so I'm sad to write this review. Staff was rude today. Asked for napkins and extra small plates to share the appetizers and one of the female staff members gave a dirty look, as if it was an inconvenience. Then they only brought one plate. Asked for an extra to-go container and the male waiter gave a dirty look too since he didn't think we needed the extra container. (Leftover pho is better when you put the broth and noodles in separate containers). Messed up our order and now they are also charging extra for Nuoc Beo (green onion in fatty broth), which has always been free before.

Yelp
This restaurant is phenomenal some of if not the best pho i have had in texas the ambience is very relaxing as well i love coming here i order the p1 pho large with extra limes and finish it every time truly great stuff

Yelp
Small mom and pop type of restaurant. It's pretty spacious inside so you could easily practice social distancing from other customers. I got the seafood pho. They have different price for egg noodle and rice noodle but I like it half and half so I asked them to mix. They didn't mind it but I think I got charged for the full egg noodle price. The pho was good. Broth had deep flavor and had a lot of seafood inside. I got a regular size and it was a little too much for me so you should get the large size only if you know you'll be able to eat a lot. Also, be sure to check in on Yelp when you get there. They offer a free soda for check-in. Just simply open Yelp, go to your profile and click check in. Then the offer will show up on your screen so show it to your server. I wish they had desserts here. I love che. But I will definitely come back.

Yelp
They didn't offer this in the menu but were happy to make a custom order. Love their wait staff and everything here is delicious as always, from the pho to rice dishes to the Vietnamese coffee. Try it all!!! Thank you pho big bowl!

Yelp
My favorite pho place by far! The broth is everything absolutely yummy and I'll keep coming back for the food and service everytime. My favorite place to go!

Yelp
It's been a while since I had been here and I went here for lunch about a week ago and the food still tastes amazing and the Vietnamese coffee is to die for. I ordered the banh mi pork sandwich and it was delicious.

Yelp
This is such a great place to go for pho and Vietnamese food. I feel family "cozy" here and everyone is always so welcoming and nice. This is my first time to try their Bún Bò Huê' and I'm e cited. Yes, I get excited about trying new foods at different locations. Ok...their broth is SO delicious hue style! Definitely will be back for more!!!

Yelp
So glad we stopped by this local pho shop while visiting family in Texas. The broth is flavorful and tasty and the noodles and meat were top notch. I can't explain how homey and delicious everything was. My daughter who loves pho devoured her kids bowl quickly and was happy as a clam. Service was prompt and filled with warm smiles. I will gladly go again if I ever find myself back in Texas. PS they take the name of the restaurant to heart with portions! The large pho was HUGE. The prices are great too!

Yelp
We have eaten at Pho Bug Bowl since they opened and the food has always been very good. We always made sure to leave a generous tip for the waitstaff. Unfortunately we discovered this week that the owner keeps all the tips. He justifies this by paying $10 an hour, but I don't leave tips for the owner to steal. We may eat there again, but will no longer leave tips that are taken from the waitstaff.

Denise M.

Yelp
Lots of meat in the pho. The broth was very good. The fried rice was nice and flavorful and the grilled pork binh was very good. It's a little bit of a drive for us but was delicious.

Yelp
Gotta bump it up to 4 stars. I went here with a friend last month and was much more impressed than I was on my visits from a few years ago. Everything tasted fresh and light, not greasy at all. Grilled pork was delicious. And service was super efficient and friendly. So glad to give them another shot. Would definitely recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
Clean place and super nice staff. Went there with my 2 kids and they were more than accommodating. Some of the best pho for half price of these other places. 25 mins away from house worth the drive every time
google avatar

Yelp
Once again, trying out local pho places near me. Overall great food and service. The older ladies who brought out the food was very nice and made sure to place the hot, hot pho bowls farther from my child. I love that awareness and kind gesture. Pho broth was savory and good quantity for the cost. Eggrolls were more in the sweeter side. Just wasn't my thing. We will definitely be back to try more items here.

Yelp
Best pho, Banh mi, and thit nuong cuon!!! I've had my fair share of pho and this is definitely authentic, high quality, light, and packed with flavor but not too salty(no MSG detected here lol). I loved their bo vien and gan/tendon meat! Their Banh mi bread was so soft crunchy and not overly buttered! Their thit nuong cuon is the best I've had! Sorry I didn't get a pic of the spring roll we were too hungry

Yelp
This is one of the best pho places around this area. They live up to their big bowl name as we can't finish the large, so the regular is still bigger than most places. Service is always pleasant and quick. Have chill music playing, some TVs, comfy booths, always clean, and little Vietnamese accent items. We love to take pho-loving friends here when they visit. (Also I love the crab Rangoon)
