The ambiance is serene and my to-go order came out quickly. Unfortunately, my lemongrass chicken and vegetables with rice and fried egg was not any good. My chicken was quite dried out and a rubbery brown color. It appears that I received only the ends of a chicken breast that has fat on it. None of the middle of the chicken breast. The egg was fried hard and not runny. The lemon piece was so small I barely got enough juice to mix the salt and pepper. The portion of chicken and vegetables to the rice was 1:3. I really enjoyed this restaurant before so maybe today was an off day for them.

I consider Vietnamese cuisine S tier levels in the food scene. We are so blessed to have vast variety around here. This place is no different. I love steak and eggs. And the Vietnamese version Bo Ne is all i eat here with a Vietnamese coffee. Sometimes i wish i was Vietnamese. Next time you want a good steak and eggs give this spot a try. Heard the Pho is outstanding too.

Pho Bo To & Bo Ne - Hit and Miss The Classic Pho is a standout! The broth is flavorful and the noodles cooked perfectly. However, the rest of the menu was a disappointment. The Chef's Special, Chicken Rice, and Beef Rice dishes were just average, lacking the depth of flavor we expected. We were also quite surprised when our order specifically stated no pork, yet pork still arrived at our table. This communication breakdown was frustrating and could have been a serious issue for those with allergies. Lastly, the Thai green tea was not enjoyable at all. While the Classic Pho is worth a try, we'd recommend exploring other options on the menu with caution.

Our son had food delivered from here about three times and loved it so we all loaded up and paid them a visit, glad we did. The large chicken soup pho was amazing. The com chien ga luc lac was, shaken chicken, was 5 stars as well, the cha gio, fried egg rolls, were topnotch, the Viet iced coffee hit the spot. We shared everything and waddled out happy. The have another location in Sugarland wifey and I had been to already, didn't realize it....they have amazing food too.

Google
I'm not sure if this restaurant is considered a hidden gem but I am ecstatic to have discovered it for myself. I was looking for a quick lunch with a colleague close by when I stumbled upon this restaurant. I asked a few friends who I usually go to for Vietnamese cuisine recommendations about it and surprisingly they had not eaten there before. Never one to pass up a new experience, I decided to roll the dice and try it out. I walked in and I knew from the instant I stepped in that, I was going to like this place. The vibe was super chill and the staff were casual but friendly. My colleague and I sat down and reviewed the menu but I knew what I wanted the minute I walked in. I ordered the Món ăn đặc biệt (Special Food) Bò né. I've had bò né before and always enjoyed it, so I was expecting to be satisfied and hoping to be surprised. There are a couple of options to add along with the thịt bò (beef). I chose Spam. When I tell you, that this was not just a meal but an experience, I'm not embellishing. This bò né eliminated the competition! The presentation was exceptional, with the hot skillet, sizzling like there was still a flame underneath it. I could actually hear the sizzle all the way from the kitchen and it just grew louder in anticipation as it neared the table. The beef was excellent, succulent and seasoned to perfection. Every bite was a masterpiece! The spam and egg just exploded with flavor when combined with the beef and sauce. Totally enhanced an already amazing dish. Then the bánh mì, which was brought out personally by an older gentleman fresh from the oven was by far one of the best and freshest bánh mì I've ever had. I couldn't stop spreading Vietnamese mayo and patê on the bánh mì and soaking up the gravy from the bò né. This was a spectacular meal and well worth the trip. Never one to quit while I'm ahead, I decided to order a fried tofu bánh mì. This was a classic bánh mì and a solid choice, Just as fresh as the bánh mì that came with the bò né. Light and crispy. The tofu was good and the veggies had that crunch that I love in a bánh mì. I wanted to order soy milk as well but in all the excitement I forgot to order it. I'll definitely be back and I'll get it then. I'm still surprised that some of my good friends hadn't ate here before but I've highly recommended it to them after this visit. Discovering new Vietnamese restaurants is quickly becoming my favorite thing to do. Phở bò tơ & bò né rất ngon!!!

We got 2 rice plates. One pork and one chicken. The portion sizes were generous and the plates were fresh and delicious. Will definitely come back here again. The place is clean, and the restrooms were clean. They were also super nice to my baby, they seem to love kids.

Google
One of our faves. Great mom and pop place that serves some of the best Pho with heaps of ribs and all the meat trimmings at very reasonable prices. One of our go to places for a nice family dinner at a quiet location.

Yelp
BEST PHO IN TOWN ! I come here all the time! I love this place a lot !! Located in sam Houston tollway & Beechnut! Very accessible and very fast service, clean restrooms and very friendly staff and very affordable prices

Yelp
Food was so delicious! I heard that in Houston, you have to try pho and so we found this hidden gem. Their baguette that comes with the steak and spam hot plate was super crispy outside and fluffy on the inside. The pho broth was super flavorful and the meats we tried were the short rib, flank, and brisket! My favorite dish and the one I'd definitely order again is the vermicelli with pork! Their grilled pork is really tasty and compliments the slightly acidic sauce with the cold noodles! It's a really refreshing dish and I'm drooling just thinking about it! Service was great and the restaurant feels clean inside. They had a lot of cute Christmas decorations for the holiday season.

Yelp
Yeah.... Presentation wise, 10/10. Food looked great. We got the Bo ne 3 (with spam and meatball).... Tasteless. It was so disappointing.... The name of the dish is in the name of the restaurant. How does that happen. I should have know since it's lunch time and there are only 3 other tables here. Would I come back? Not if I can help it. Customer service was ok.

Yelp
Food: Small classic pho tai-- very tiny and it came with lemons instead of limes and it was different but good! Broth was light but flavorful, found myself not overly stuffed. Ample amount of meat was provided. Couldn't finish it but I was definitely satisfied! Service: Quick and attentive without constantly being bothered! Definitely a chill spot, family and friend oriented.

Yelp
Came here with a friend while she was visiting. It was a colder day so we wanted some soup and what better than a steaming bowl of pho. I found this place because they have Bo Ne and I wanted her to try it. So we each had a bowl of pho and we split the Bo Ne. Over all everything was very tasty. I also had a Vietnamese iced coffee which was very strong and yummy just like I like it. Overall would recommend for both pho and Bo Ne. I will be returning.

Yelp
The first time I was here I ordered their Combination pho. I thought the broth was aromatic and flavorful however the meats on the other hand were chewy and not tendered. I decided to give them another chance so my friend and I went for lunch on Friday. We ordered their grill beef spring rolls for an appetizer & shared Bo Ne since we weren't that hungry. The grilled beef spring rolls were okay, the meat wasn't tendered nor flavorful. The wrapper was on the harder side as well. I will say that the peanut sauce was made to perfection. The Bo ne wasn't the best I've had but it was doable. While the meat was pretty tender, it was bland. The sauce that was in the dish was very flavorful, it was sweet and savory. Honestly the sauce didn't cover the fact that the steak was bland. Spam was in the dish as well, let's just say that spam is spam, nothing special. The baguettes were toasted nicely and it came with pate, butter & some veggies. Overall, the food was just okay. The prices are affordable and the service was swift. The decor is a hole in the wall but I'm there for good food, unfortunately it was just fair. Will I come back? I wouldn't go out of my way but for the price I'll definitely give it another go when I'm in the area again.

Yelp
Located on the same side as Viet Hoa Supermarket, Pho Bo To & Bo Ne has quietly become one of my go-to spots for both pho and bo ne. The food has always been on point, the service has always been ultra friendly, the prices are affordable, and the vibe is often low key. They've done a good job at maximizing the space inside. It's not huge, but it's enough to handle several large groups at the same time. The waits are never long, even during peak times on the weekend and there is plenty of seating during the week during lunch and dinner. No lie, I feast here every time. This means I'm with large groups where multiple bowls of pho, at least a platter or two of their famed bo ne, and a good number of their appetizers ranging from nem cuon, cha gio, and their super interesting com chien bo luc lac. The pho is aromatic and the broth is semi-clear, with ample heapings of meats for their dac biet version and very underrated. Their bo kho (beef stew) is also famous, which goes well with noodles or baguette. The bo ne is the show stealer for most, with a good amount of beef cubes over a sizzling platter accompanied with a salad, baguette, and a killer paté + butter mix. I'd happily eat a cup of the latter. Plenty of folks will talk about how difficult service can be at other competing restaurants, but I've found that this location is always excellent in that arena. They're good about tending to tables, being friendly all the time, and really good with bringing the food in a timely manner. They may have their bad days, but most of my experiences have been some of their best ones. I highly recommend to all to give this place a try and order the very same things I've mentioned above for an ideal spread. __________ My photos: https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/pho-bo-to-and-bo-ne-houston-4?userid=ysCBsXWPB-LAiewVS3jZfQ

Yelp
Have been feeling a bit under the weather so craving some "therapeutic" pho. Place was fairly empty when we came so got serviced quickly - everyone was helpful and nice! We got the classic pho with fatty brisket, flank tendon, and a lean cut and also tried their oxtail pho (added meatballs). Both really hit the spot! Oxtail was quite tender and had some flavor to it, you def need to add more meat to the pho just to maintain a decent noodle/broth to protein ratio. Passionfruit tea was so refreshing and not too sweet. Pro tip: if you're wanting to come here, it's right off the Beltway and there's quite a bit of construction on the roads so keep that mind regarding commute times but don't skip out on this place!

Yelp
I checked out this spot while visiting Texas. The interior isn't anything special, but the food definitely makes up for it. Our group all ordered the bo ne, and it was cooked perfectly--piping hot and full of flavor. If you're ordering other items, though, don't expect them to be as impressive; the bo ne is really their specialty. The service is decent, but at casual places like this, you shouldn't expect much. You come here for the food, not the ambiance.

Yelp
It seems like I only come to Phở Bò Tơ & Bò Né once a year during Lunar New Year Festivals at Viet Hoa Center. My recent visit was just that. It was freezing cold. My friend and I wanted to refuel our energy by having some delicious Vietnamese food in our guts. My friend ordered Shaken Beef and Thai Tea Drink. I forgot what I ordered. I was starving and watching the happening on the other side of the window. Service was pretty fast. Food was delicious. Prior to Covid, I came with my Yelper friend Eddie S and his mom. I tried Bún bò Huế for the first time. It was alright. Not much memory again. It was prior to lion dance shows. But I enjoyed the company.

Yelp
The best Vietnamese steak and eggs place in Htown by far. My absolute go to. Every time I am back to town I make sure to stop by and get this amazing dish. In all honesty everything else looks great too but I never tried it since Bo Ne is just so freaking delicious!!! A must go if you are looking for good steak and eggs place.

Yelp
Foodie tour of Houston continued! This was a restaurant I went to in 2021 and I loved it soo much I had to come back with my friends! Bo Ne is one of my absolute fave Vietnamese dishes, it's hard to find in my area so I will often try it anywhere I can find it! Something about the sizzling steak, eggs, pate, meatballs and cheese with a nice toasty baguette is just heaven lol. And this place makes it really well! And the pho is not to be missed either. Broth was rich and generous with the meat. We have never seen pho offered with be thui (roasted veal) before until we ate here. It's a delicacy, also very hard to find and not everywhere does it well - this was loved by all who were there!
google avatar

Yelp
This is my favorite place to go to for Bo Ne. Beef is tender and flavorful, eggs are nice and runny. Delicious pate and butter. Fresh vegetables on the side. Crispy and fresh baguette... what more could you ask for! Also great prices here!

Yelp
Amazing Bo Ne & pho. Prices are super reasonable and everything is fresh! We enjoyed our food very much. It was reasonably priced and very authentic!

Yelp
Came with some friends after seeing this place was great for Bo Ne. I hadn't had it in a while so figured we'd try it out. Bo Ne is pretty much Viet style steak and eggs. It's seasoned beef with sunny side up eggs that comes on a sizzling plate. They also provide a baguette and fixings like pate for you to both eat with the eggs/steak and to soak up the juices on the sizzling plate. I ordered an extra side of pate and baguette along with a small pho soup with meatballs since I was feeling some soup too. For drinks, the wintermelon tea sounded pretty good, and it was. They have some other drinks I want to try next time. Food came out decently quick and everything was pretty good. I can't say it was the most amazing I've had, but still really solid. When checking out, I was double charged for a lot of things. I can't fully blame them as we had a lot of people at our table and everybody was paying seperately for stuff, but the staff was apologetic about it and was patient helping to refund the overcharged amount. Would definitely go back and try more things.

Yelp
I've never tried Pho Bo To before but when I read the description, I knew I had to. It was about 20 mins away for my hotel in a large plaza. Parking lot is huge. I was quickly seated for lunch and was overall clean. The pho Bo to texture is like pad Thai with hint of hoisin flavor. Overall flavors was light but perfect to me. The spring roll was fresh and typical of a home made roll. The soy bean drink size was awesome. Great find and grab your check at the counter.

Yelp
We tried the Bo ne for the first time and it was delicious. The Vietnamese french baguette was crispy in the outside and fluffy in the insides my daughter loves and we went back the next day for a second round.

Yelp
My favorite place for pho kho (dry pho)! The owner is so sweet & always walks around & checks up on customers. His made in house spicy sauce (it's teal color) was soooo bomb :-)!

Yelp
the food is so amazing! i love everything i've tried from the veal to the oxtail pho! my partner loves the steak and spam with egg and baguette. the sides like the spring rolls, egg rolls and shrimp rolls & drinks like the thai green tea is also amazing! the service was wonderful, they're very welcoming and they have english menus! the ambiance is very home cooked meal made by your Viet auntie who is amazing in the kitchen!

Yelp
Ordered online. Fast, cheap and good ! Would recommend, family owned and easy to get to even with construction

Yelp
Unlike many other restaurants in Chinatown Houston, this restaurant has a good selection of different Vietnamese dishes that actually taste good. Their most served dish is bo ne combo with banh mi. Definitely give it a try! I have friends who drive 4 hours from Dallas just for this restaurant. Banh mi are made in the house so always fresh. Top it off with sizzling beef just take it to a whole new level. Bun bo hue and pho dac biet are not bad either in case someone in your group wants something else. Service is just like any other typical Asian restaurant - the OG style. Call them if you need something or you will rot there waiting. Otherwise, friendly staffs even to those non-Vietnamese speakers since the floor are run by the younger generations. Tip: you pay at the register so just go up there when you're ready but you order at the table. They won't kick you out you til you want to get out of your seat!

Yelp
We came here as a group, our experience was okay. The Lady let us sit close to the kitchen. Then when we were ready to order a guy came with an iPad and took our orders. I ordered their large classic pho with 4 different kinds of meats(flank, soft tendon, well done, skirt flank) I really didn't see the soft tendon meat it was mostly 3 types of meat that was in my bowl. Our groups mostly ordered the oxtail they said it was too small, but the Pho was very savory. The food came out quickly. The food is not that spectacular compared to other Pho places but I will give it 4/5 stars. When you pay you go to the counter to pay your bill. One of my friends ordered Vietnamese coffee she said it was creamy and she didn't like it.

Yelp
Bo Ne ($14.99): Sizzling platter of steak cubes and eggs served with a banh mi (baguette). Such a delicious breakfast! Beef was tender and flavorful with that sauuuuuce. The baguette had that perfect crispy exterior with super soft insides. The best bite is spreading some pâté & butter on a piece of bread with the steak and egg...I'm drooling just thinking about it! We also tried their Pho Bo Kho which was a dry noodle with brisket/flank topped with cilantro, onions, fried onions, and fried eggs. Very flavorful and different- couldn't really place my finger on what spice they used. Good to try, but I'd stick with the Bo Né. Oooh also get the Pandan Soy Milk!!! The restaurant was very busy (good sign), but service was quick.
google avatar

Yelp
So good and pretty affordable!! Bf and I got chicken fried rice and steak and eggs and both were really good. Highly reccommend making a DIY sandwhich with the steak and eggs and soaking up your new steak n egg sandwhich with the fat from the stone plate onto the bread, trickle some siracha- BAM!!! So good. The crunch from the bread, fat from the oil/meats, and sweet/saltiness of the steak and eggs is unforgettable Chicken fried rice was really simple and tasty, wish there was that extra bit of oomph and flavor but still a treat. The pho broth included was a YES Support local :)'

Yelp
We came for their bun thit nuong (pork vermicelli bowl). It truly did not disappoint. For the low price of $9.99, we each got a massive bowl with lots of pork in it. The sauce that comes with it does not have a strong fish sauce taste (but I kinda wish it did). The pork is small thinly sliced pieces and mixed well with the rest of the bowl. I would come back to get this bowl. We also ordered Vietnamese iced coffee. The styrofoam cup it came in was mostly filled with ice, but the coffee was good. The service here is meh. The waiter did not come around the circular table to take everybody's order. Instead, the waiter just made us all shout our order across the table... and when the food came out, the waiter had no idea whose dish was whose. But for these sort of restaurants, you are not really here for the service anyway. You pay at the counter when you finish eating.

Yelp
EXCELLENT BROTH in the pho omgggg plus when they brought me the bowl, I could tell they had just put the meat in because it was still on the rare side (normally I ask for the meat on the side and cook as I go but I forgot) but that tells me it was FRESH. And they have a lot of yummy drink options and really sweet people that own it and checked in on us. I was craving pho but after seeing the menu, I know I have to come back for the other best sellers on the menu. My friend had the dry noodle dish and it was so good!!

Yelp
Really good Grilled Chicken Pho and Grilled Pork with rice plate. The portions are good, definitely a good restaurant choice for anyone who wants Vietnamese food.

Yelp
For appetizers we orders Spring Rolls and Chicken Popcorn,Dumplings. Everything was delicious. As ny entree I orders The Chef's Bone Ne. Must say Ieft if I happy smile and a full belly. Will come again. The staff was very friendly as well.

Yelp

Yelp
Amazing Bo Ne & pho. Prices are super reasonable and everything is fresh! It's not too busy when they first open, but it fills up quickly. I also got the bone marrow soup which I was expecting to be too heavy, but it surprisingly was not. I would gladly do two bowls of it!

Yelp
What a great spot for Bo ne!! The Bo ne here was superb! Nothing beats fresh baguettes being served with the Bo ne. The baguette was warm, crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. I love the side of fresh veggies, pate and Vietnamese mayo served on the side. The beef cubes were tender and tasty! This plate is a must! The pho dac biet was great! There was plenty of meat and broth was tasty. The bun Bo hue was excellent too!! They even have blood! On the down side, the spring rolls was not a hit. The dipping sauce was not to my liking. It was bland. Overall, the Bo ne and noodles were delicious!

Yelp
The food was alright, unique in a way. Service was below average and the ambiance... there were flies on my food and water. Quickly just ate my food and left. Dine-in places are dead because of services like this. Owners don't want to pay their employees working wages and expect us to pay for our food and their wages.

Yelp
Five stars all around!!!!!! This place is 100% worth the drive if you don't live near Bellaire. Elevated Vietnamese cuisine popular for their Chef's favorite and perched in the same plaza that houses Suns Club off of Beechnut. Service was awesome and food was awesome!! I'd highly recommend the Chefs Special and the Shaking Beef. We also ordered the egg rolls, but, I wasn't really a fan. It was a bit of a stale feeling biting into the egg roll when you're expecting to get that crispy crunch. Almost like the egg roll paper dried out? And they had shrimp to their egg rolls, and I wasn't a fan. It's best not to deviate from the traditional egg roll that usually has pork or only veggies. My shaking beef plate is the best I've ever had! Super moist, tender and juicy meat!!!! It comes worth a side of salad and a salt, pepper, and lime Dipping sauce. I didn't know what it was for initially, but the server explained to me that it's for people who want a to add a little extra zing to their shaking beef, they can lightly dip It before eating it. We will definitely be coming back! This place was legit soooooooo good!! And best of all. Their water is filtered l, hallelujah.

Yelp
The food looks really good on the website, but don't get fooled like i did. The Menu Fried Chicken with Fries Basket $8.99 Crispy Egg Rolls x3 $5,25 $25 Unreal, this is why I don't like ordering online.

Yelp
Authentic Vietnamese food. Decent prices and delicious food. I ordered the Bo Ne which is Steak and Eggs Vietnamese style. Came out sizzling and hot, just how I like it. Includes a crispy and warm baguette, liver pate/Vietnamese mayo, and a small lettuce salad. I did small bites with everything on it and added a drizzle of vegan siracha sauce. Superb. Very good breakfast, brunch time or really any time of the day. 10/10. My brother ordered dumplings and combo fried rice. It was average. Service was fast and attentive which was good. A small area and not so busy place. There's a market store and other shops next to it as well. Overall I would definitely recommend this place for a small, casual dine in for good food and price.

Yelp
Awesome Vietnamese platters of appetizers . Was recommended by the insurance company 2 doors away when we visited the insurance company to get advise on our medical insurance which is coming up soon. The soups were very clear which is the magic of Vietnamese soups , they keep clearing away the debris of bones to make the soup amazing . Meat was fresh and we had a pho which is plenty big for 2 person with the large size . Special chilli oil sauce for the appetizers were recommended by my Viet agent. Amazing!! Brought more friends to visit and enjoy again yesterday!

Yelp
I had wanted to come here based on a positive review by a popular YouTuber, who raved about the Bo Ne dish. My husband, my friend, and I came on a quiet Thursday night. The server was quick and attentive, and definitely recommended that we try the Bo Ne. We ordered egg rolls, a pho with spare ribs, and two Bo Ne. The food here comes out quick. The Bo Ne is served on a sizzling hot plate with a side of veggies, pate, butter, and French bread. It tastes exactly how I imagined it--salty, sweet, flavorful. Surprisingly, the meat was tender and not chewy. The bread was excellent. The dish is not super filling, though, which is why we were glad we ordered egg rolls, which were good, not spectacular. My husband said his pho was flavorful. All in all, a very good experience. I would've liked this restaurant more if they served fountain drinks as opposed to soda in cans. I would also expect bigger portions for the prices that you pay. Would return.

Yelp
Great service and the food was delicious. The meat was nice and flavored and tender. The eggs were perfectly runny. If that's joe you prefer your eggs, make sure to move it around to keep it from over cooking.

Yelp
DO NOT EAT HERE. I wish I could get my $60 back. I'm really confused how this place has the stars it has. There HAVE to be some very fake reviews or pages in here. I could've made everything MUCH better at home myself bf I've never made Vietnamese food before. As soon as we drove up and saw that the parking lot was empty on a Saturday evening, we should've known. Actually, my fiancé did know. I convinced him to try this place based off the instagram page. The dishes looked so delicious on their page. I still decided to go inside despite the empty lot. We enter, and it's of course empty inside. The two tables we walked up to sit at were dirty and the one we decided to sit at had a dead bug in the booth. I still decided try it. My fiancé wanted to leave but yet again, regretfully, I convinced him. I ordered the Bo Ne, and it was ok. My fiancé ordered the Com Chien Bo Luc Lac and it maybe had four shrimp. I asked for the grilled shrimp and a side of rice for my daughter. They gave her imitation shrimp-disgusting. I asked for grilled shrimp instead and he looked very confused. The spring rolls were the best thing but even those were just okay. The waiter didn't seem to know how to answer anything I asked. I was overall extremely disappointed in this place. They do a good job making their dishes look great on their IG though. I will not be back. Wouldn't recommend. If you drove here and are just now coming across this review, maybe try the Korean BBQ place across the way as their parking lot was full.

Yelp
Not sure why this place has 4.5 stars. E-ve-ry-thing was bland af and did not taste good at all. Needed ice cream to cleanse my palate. Ew.

Yelp
There are way better pho options in the area. I have tried many pho spots around Houston area.. this does not taste good. We also saw the man grab the noodles with no gloves on. We should have left at that point. Big regrets.

Yelp
Service good . Pho good but kinda of skimpy on the amount of beef only 4 small pieces.

Yelp

Yelp
My favorite spot for Bo ne in Houston. Always hit the spot. My boyfriend also loves the price and taste of the short rib pho - the soup is solid but not as good as some other places in Chinatown. Nice people work here also. This place is part of my Chinatown rotation and everyone should definitely give them a try!
