Cơm Niêu is a highly recommended Vietnamese homestyle restaurant with multiple branches throughout Ho Chi Minh City.
It’s popular among both locals and tourists, and for good reason. Every time I pass by, the place is bustling with diners eager to enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine.
The star dish here is their clay pot rice, which is similar to Korean-style crispy rice. The bottom layer of the rice is perfectly charred, giving it a delightful crunch that pairs wonderfully with the savory flavors of the accompanying dishes. It’s a must-try for anyone visiting the restaurant.
Beyond the clay pot rice, the restaurant offers a wide variety of homestyle dishes. From the rich flavors of fish sauce-marinated pork to crispy fried spring rolls, every dish we tried was flavorful and met or exceeded expectations. The quality and authenticity of the food truly shine through.
As for pricing, it’s incredibly affordable. Our group of seven spent about 2,000,000 VND in total, which is remarkable for the amount of food we ordered. It’s a great value for the quality and portion sizes provided.
One unique aspect of Cơm Niêu is the live performances during the evening, which add an extra layer of charm to the dining experience. The lively yet cozy atmosphere makes it an excellent choice for family gatherings or a night out with friends.
Overall, Cơm Niêu is a fantastic spot to enjoy traditional Vietnamese cuisine at an affordable price. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit for its signature clay pot rice and homestyle dishes.
