The food itself is solid. My wife and I love getting the curry chicken pho from here. We went recently and got some takeout and were disappointed with the portions. They barely filled the container halfway with broth and when we asked about it, they said they had been overfilling it before. It sucks to hear that be the case because the food is good, but for $18, I feel like we should get a healthy portion of the broth.

I ordered from this place because my coworker suggested it since she knows I eat a lot of pho. I will give accolades on the flavor, scrumptious/phenomenal. However, the quantity is horrible. I ordered a large and it’s as if I ordered a small I know all restaurants are different. However, I’m used to getting a large container with a medium container when ordering a large serving. I ordered a large serving in received a large container that was barely filled halfway. That’s horrible customer service to myself and others.

First time here & ordered to-go. The food was delicious!! Beef broth was very flavorful. We also got chicken egg rolls—they were surprisingly filling!

Google
This place is really great. I had a hard time choosing just one dish because everything looked delicious. I ended up trying the Vermicelli Bowl with beef and it was excellent. The service was prompt, my water was always refilled. If you are in the Uptown or West Village area, you should definitely check this place out.

Google
Good place to stop by for Pho, always enjoy a bowl of their Meatball Pho and a Thai Tea for dessert. Friendly and quick service and the restaurant is very clean. I've even done to go orders and they are always very efficient and supply service with a smile. One of my favorite places to have Pho if I can't make it out to Richardson where some of the best Pho is located. Parking is a pain but luckily this is in a walkable area with lots to do if you find yourself having to park a little farther away.

Our food came out so fast! I had the chance to try the chicken dumplings (steamed) with the rare beef and meatball pho. The broth was absolutely delicious and didn’t take much doctoring. I love the fact that I can scan to pay and the parking was pretty good as well. Prices are very reasonable and it is a tight knit space.

Amazing food and great service. We had the shrimp pho and the chicken pho with extra carrots and it did not disappoint. We will be coming back for sure!

Google
Top notch place for all kinds of Pho dishes. The atmosphere was spacious and clean. Service was fast and thoughtful. Ordered the the Special Pho and the Beef Brisket Pho dishes. Absolutely delicious! The large is more than enough to fill the biggest appetite. On the side, we ordered the Shrimp Spring Roll with the peanut sauce. Loved it. We will for sure be back! Great work guys! Highly recommend 😀👍

Yelp
A solid neighborhood Vietnamese spot that always hits the mark! They offer a little bit of everything--from comforting bowls of pho to traditional hot dishes, banh mi, and more. No matter what you're craving, you're bound to find something delicious on the menu. My personal favorite is their pho--it's got that classic, authentic taste with a rich, flavorful broth that's perfectly balanced. It's the kind of dish that feels like a warm hug, especially on cooler days or when you just need some comfort food. This place can get pretty busy during the lunch rush, which is a testament to how popular and loved it is in the neighborhood. But even when it's packed, the service is traditionally quick and efficient, so you won't be waiting long for your food. Whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or sitting down for a casual dinner, this spot is reliable, tasty, and definitely worth checking out!

Yelp
3rd time here and the food was horrible every visit. This 3rd time I tried the Teriyaki Beef. OMG.. the rice was old and hard, the beef very tough as if it was cooked yesterday then reheated today and stir fried with onions. I explained it to the server and she said "someone earlier said the same thing". There was no offer to replace it with anything else but she quickly made sure I got the check. This was their last shot for me being a customer.

Yelp
Every time I come here it's always so great! This is my boyfriend and my go to spot for our pho fix. We both usually get the Crimson special which has all the beef meats! From the service to the food, everything is great! We will for sure be back! They are amazing at delivery also! I've gotten delivery a few times now and each time is a hit!

Yelp
Pho Crimson Cafe is located in Dallas. There isn't designated parking for the restaurant, so you will need to find street parking, or a parking garage in the area. We were able to find parking around the corner. Upon arrival, it was not busy. There was maybe one or two other groups seated already once we arrived. Our group of two was seated quickly. My boyfriend and I decided to order the Crimson Wings (5 chicken wings deep fried and toss with salt and pepper) to share. The chicken wings were smaller than I expected and pretty dry. We each ordered a Vietnamese Iced Coffee, which was fine. Nothing special about it. It was quite concentrated. I ordered the Crimson's Special Pho and he ordered the Tom Yum Pho. The pho were both good, but again nothing special. I found it pretty odd that when we received our pho, the bean sprouts, jalapenos, etc. that usually come on a side dish were already in the bowls. Not sure if that's normal for this restaurant given the table we were seated at was SMALL and there was no room for another dish.

Yelp
Their Korean bbq is always on point along with the veggie egg rolls. Plenty of food, great prices and made to order.

Jo Alice B.

Yelp
A bowl for the pho would be a big help. I'm disabled and it's hard to get around. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxdxxxxxxxxxxzzxzzzxzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Yelp
I tried their pho tai nam, and it was fantastic. The beef is tender, and the broth is savory with just the right amount of sweetness.

Trinity M.

Yelp
My goodness! What can I say! This restaurant has served my friends in I in so many different capacities. There's excellent food, always cooked fresh to our liking. There's fantastic staff who appreciates being more personal than just providing a service. And it's a great place to share a memory, a work conversation, and/or just enjoy some good food for the belly. I cannot find another pho restaurant in the city that maximizes each visit as well as this location.

Nishitha M.

Yelp
The chicken was extremely dry and tasteless (super hard to chew). I added sriracha and hoisin sauce with lemon and other toppings. The noodles were fresh. The broth lacked flavor (chicken broth). Disappointed as my friend told me this was one of the best pho they had but i didn't like it. I ordered in because I was sick and was craving something soupy/brothy.

Tiara L.

Yelp
Pho Crimson is my favorite phô place in Dallas, I've taken several people there to prove a point! Pho Crimson is located right on the corner of Blackburn and McKinney Ave in the cutest little area. You can't really pick a bad item on the menu honestly. My favorite thing is the Curry Chicken Bowl and the shrimp spring rolls! The service is always very fast and accurate, as well!

Jessie C.

Yelp
Not authentic pho! My fav place for pho in Dallas area was closed so I decided to give this a try. The prices for pho was $13-$16 which is pushing it but only valid if the food was above average. The portions are bigger and what was weird was that they put all the toppings IN the soup versus on the side. It made everything kind of soggy. The broth it self was bland and very greasy. The sides of my bowl was stained with yellow oil. I see other similar reviews so I'm sure it's not just me. Service and seating was great but I'd rather recommend Vietnam Restaurant nearby. This is very mid greasy overpriced and not authentic pho..

Denise G.

Yelp
We've passed this place so many times but never tried them out, today we stopped in. Best decision ever!! We arrived around 1:30ish so traffic was dying down. They had a good music playlist going which I enjoyed. Very clean inside with a nice atmosphere. For the food- We started off with the pork spring rolls, so good!! I ordered Chicken Pho and my husband ordered Beef Lo Mein. Again, so good and delicious! The portions are very generous and worth the price. I didn't get the guys name but he showed us to our table and waited on us. He was so friendly and attentive. I wanted to try the Vietnamese Iced Coffee and he was so helpful lol he wanted to make sure I didn't drink it in one gulp and give myself a panic attack. It's very strong but OMGOSH!! Delicious!! It def woke me up! We'll be back! Loved it.

Karen C.

Yelp
Food is always good but if you get here any less than 30 minutes to closing they wont seat you and only allow for take out Pretty bad service standard Maybe change your hours to a time that you want customers to dine with you.

Ella R.

Yelp
Food was 5/5 Staff friendliness and speed of service was 5/5 Ambiance and decor was 3/5

Alishia R.

Yelp
I won't lie I wasn't even hungry but I couldn't help but to stop! I'm glad I did the service was friendly and nice and the food hot and fresh! Even though I took most of my soup home it was still really good!

Adrian S.

Yelp
Overpriced pho and don't think it's worth it. The broth seemed like I was eating instant ramen noodles at home. Service was slow too, even though when we ate there, there was only 2 other tables to service. Probably won't be going back to this pho restaurant

Regine M.

Yelp
Not the spot for authentic pho but decent food for what was open around the area. I got the brisket pho and the broth was pretty bland. Their Thai tea was also just okay. We visited on New Year's Eve during the day and were seated immediately. They had plenty of seating and were not crowded at all. Service was fast, but our server was a bit rude. One person in our party asked to order last in the group and our server rolled her eyes at us.

Kelsey K.

Yelp
Well as the other reviews say the service was not good. We came with 6 of us on a Saturday around 6:30 and there was only one other table there. We ordered apps and our entrees the first entree to the last was at least 30 min apart. Our friend who ordered the bahn mi and got his first was well finished by the time our last entree of pad Thai came out. I am fairly confident the order for the pad Thai was never out in and they just hadn't said anything to us. But other then that the food was pretty good. I got the curry chicken pho which has a nice spice to it! They do put all the toppings in the broth which is a bit annoying. In my leftovers I had some very brown basil. The brisket pho was okay my friend says the broth was a bit too sweet. The pad Thai was pretty sweet as well and didn't really taste like most traditional pad Thais. The Vietnamese iced coffee was good and fairly thick but still strong. I'd be back if I didn't want to go to far for pho but I prefer Ngon in lower Greenville

Jamie T.

Yelp
Very overpriced for what you receive! Small portions. You'll probably still be pretty hungry afterwards so I would suggest getting another dish there or going to McDonald's afterwards. The food tastes good though! Service was okay and parking was pretty easy, there is a free parking garage quite close to the restaurant. Ambiance was just okay, I think if they didn't play loud music and from a proper speaker, it would be improved.

Monet L.

Yelp
I think yelp should implement an honorary 6th star for special places. The service is very quick ! The restaurant is exceptionally clean. But let's get down to the Pho ... this review is from a person that eats PHO a minimum of 1x a week . THIS BROTH NEEDS TO BE PUT INTO am IV . Its subtle perfect flavor and cozy broth will be delicious for whatever protein or veggie you choose.. a must must must try !!!!!

Justin G.

Yelp
My fave spot in uptown! The food is always so delish and fresh. Perfect stop or lunch spot post meetings or just on an afternoon stroll

Joshua J.

Yelp
First off we wanted to get our order to go, and take home to the kids. Called in an order and they will NOT take orders over the phone, and I found out why the website automatically adds 25% gratuity to your order. This is so shady!! When we called them out on it they acted confused and claimed they would reverse the charge 6 days later I will have to call my credit card company. Food was ample broth was a little fatty for our taste but the money might have soured the meal.

Lily M.

Yelp
Ordered my food to go so I am only reviewing the food. The food is made fresh and tasted as such. I got the Korean BBQ and it was so delicious. The dish comes with Rice, Kimchi and BBQ short ribs. It was flavorful, amazing, and I 100% recommend.

Courtney

Yelp
As an Asian person, this Food was not good. The pho was bad and too sweet. The price was very high. I don't like paying $18 for a pho when I can go elsewhere for much cheaper

Derek L.

Yelp
Pho Crimson was just ok. The restaurant is located at a busy intersection and easy to find. After reading several reviews from other yelpers, my family decided to give it a try. I had the tom yum pho soup. I wish I could pinpoint why I thought it was average but it's just a little bit of everything. The seafood in the soup texture was off maybe previously frozen or defrosted and refrozen. I am not too sure. the soup lacked the strong lemon grass flavoring I would expect from a tom yum soup. I don't remember seeing any kaffir or tasting it either. Instead it was tomato and salt mainly. The noodles were average, veggies- average, portion -average, service - average. The atmosphere did remind me of some great pho places I've been too. Roof was leaking, bathrooms are dirty but unfortunately the food didn't stack up. Overall, it'll scratch the noodle soup itch but it won't have you wanting more. Life is too short for another mediocre meal.

Joi B.

Yelp
I stopped in to grab spring rolls and seafood pho while I was in the area. I'd been here a couple of years ago and the food was really good. That was years ago... It wasn't good. The spring rolls with old iceberg lettuce wrapped in was a fail. I ate those first. I was sincerely hoping the seafood pho was better. The broth just wasn't as flavorful as I've had and was expecting. It was just ok... I asked for chili oil. That was a bit strange too. It normally has crispy chili flakes and some sort of flavor. This was just colored oil with no flavor, no spice and the chilis were mushy.. I don't plan to visit again. I will say the guy that took my order was super nice and very helpful.

Yelp
I ordered a meal through DoorDash believing I was ordering chicken vermicelli with an eggroll. When my order showed up, it was nothing but eggrolls on top of noodles. No chicken at all! Who serves eggrolls as a meal? I paid way too much money for this and disgusted and super disappointed! Their menu does not identify what you're actually getting. FIX YOUR MENU.

Don R.

Yelp
While the focus of the menu is Vietnamese with features such as Pho, Bahn Mi and Spring Rolls, they also offer a variety of other Southeast Asian dishes, including; Pad Thai, Lo Mein and Korean BBQ. There's even a very unique Korean BBQ Burrito! The décor is warm and relaxed, with an upscale urban feel, and the service is very prompt and friendly. I began my meal with a Grilled Pork Spring Roll and a Peach Tea with Jelly (if you're not accustomed to this sort of drink, it's not like the jelly you'd smear on bread, it's like little, firm cubes of Jell-o). The Spring roll was filled with delicious Grilled Pork accompanied by crunchy sticks of Carrot and Cucumber, Fresh Shredded Lettuce and a tasty Peanut Sauce for dipping. The Tea was very refreshing. It was like I could taste the fuzz of the Peach, and I got pieces of Jelly in each sip! It was difficult to select my main dish. Pho and Bahn Mi both sounded so good, and I love Lo Mein and Pad Thai, but I just couldn't resist trying the Korean BBQ Burrito! Come on! Grilled Pork Short Rib with Kimchi, Rice and Grilled Onions and Jalapeno wrapped in a Burrito! How can I NOT order that!? Now don't expect a giant burrito the size of your head, but this isn't loaded with a lot of Lettuce and Refried Bean filler either! All the flavors were represented with nearly every bite, but it was a little difficult to keep together, so I'd advise small bites. I don't get to Dallas very often, but this place is worth the trip. Bold flavors that you don't get everywhere. I have got to plan another trip to West Village for the Pho or a Bahn Mi!

Michelle B.

Yelp
I ordered the Seafood Pho and it literally had one (1) whole shrimp and a tail of a shrimp, with one (1) jalapeño slice. This was my first time trying Pho and what I received looked NOTHING like the advertised picture. It was not appetizing, therefore it was tossed in the trash. A waste of money!!!

Amy S.

Yelp
This was a lunch staple when I worked in oak lawn! This restaurant sparked my LOVE of the Bahn Mi sandwich . Perfectly buttered bread with grilled shrimp and the most amazing pickled carrots with fresh sliced jalapeño. My mouth is watering just typing this out! On top of all that, their speedy and professional service is unmatched. The vibe is cooler than anywhere I should be allowed to go lol. I've heard the pho is also amazing but I can't go here and not bahn mi!

Elizabeth B.

Yelp
Horrible customer service ! Manager refuse to sit a party of 10 in two tables side by side ! Horrible horrible service !

Ashley M.

Yelp
Great service, delicious food! If you are a foodie like me, you will love the menu items along with the amazing vibes. The menu has a wide selection of Vietnamese dishes, and the service was excellent! I had the chicken and veggies stir fry, and believe me, 10/10. When in Dallas, this place is a must try. Great for photos as well!

Britt G.

Yelp
It was my first time trying pho, I read initial reviews and decided to give this place a try, I'm so glad I did! It was delicious and was fresh and hot. There was only 1 server but she did well with attending to everyone. The restaurant was clean and had a modern simple esthetic. I will be returning and trying others items on the menu.

Albert W.

Yelp
Probably my favorite pho place in the Dallas proper. The broth is hearty and flavorful, which is the main thing I look for in a bowl of pho. Meat toppings are also very generous. The noodle is a hit or miss unfortunately. I like mine more on the softer side, and it's not cooked enough sometimes. The place is really chill and casual. I always took my order to go, but they always provide prompt service for diners.

Sarah F.

Yelp
Best Pho in Dallas. Consistently good. Our family makes a point to visit often. Love the location.

Michael S.

Yelp
I just ordered a vermicelli bowl with grilled pork. It wasthe smallest portion of meat I've ever seen. (I eat Vietnamese food at least twice a week almost religiously. It's my favorite) I asked the server he actually said "yeah, the owner is kind of skimpy" A manager by the name of Bruce and or Bao walked by. I showed him the portion. He said" I'll look into that for you" very nicely, but never came back so while I checked out, I asked the server to get the manager he came out told me "the serving is correct" and I was wrong. I mentioned again to him not from the experience I've had in 30+ years. And he just turned around and rudely walked away. I tried to call him back and ask for his name would not come back up. The server had to give it to me I will not eat here again.

Nena P.

Yelp
I came here with my husband , as soon as we stepped in before seated i rushed to the restroom because i am pregnant , the man told my husband "did she ask to use the restroom", and he then proceeded to say "if i came to your house and i used the restroom would that would be disrespectful. This business is a horrible place, that i have to ask a restaurant owner if i can use the restroom. Disgusting behavior and people.. me and my husband will never come here again.

Jeff P.

Yelp
I'm sick in bed today, so of course I ordered my favorite chicken curry pho! The delivery guy gets here. I open everything up and they gave me one basil leaf and a nasty lime with half the peeled off of it turning colors. I won't be ordering from here anymore!

Belinda S.

Yelp
The new ladies are not my favorite! I miss coming in and the girls knowing my order. The new staff ladies have an attitude and give horrible customer service. Go back and learn customer service skills.

Shunkecia L.

Yelp
Our food came out so fast! I had the chance to try the chicken dumplings (steamed) with the rare beef and meatball pho. The broth was absolutely delicious and didn't take much doctoring. I love the fact that I can scan to pay and the parking was pretty good as well. Prices are very reasonable and it is a tight knit space.

Hannah S.

Yelp
This place used to be really good but is now very inconsistent. Broth was not flavorful and my order was completely wrong. Spring rolls were meh and contained about 1 shrimp each sliced up thin.

Jessica J.

Yelp
I'm gonna be honest, my expectations were low. Of course this is not the best pho you'll ever have, but it will do in a pinch. I was scrambling to find time to get lunch during work, so I hastily placed an order for delivery. I got the rare steak pho and spring rolls. Pros: - good portion of rare steak - good portion size. there was no option to choose, but this seemed like a medium Cons: - "original" broth is too salty - bean sprouts were brown/old. had to pick through the bag for some fresher ones - spring rolls broke by the time I got to them :( Didn't get a chance to explore the pho/Vietnamese scene much during my time in Dallas, but I felt satisfied after this meal.

Doris D.

Yelp
They have the BEST Pho!! Service is always a 10 out of 10. Great place to enjoy some great cuisine.

Chris S.

Yelp
Two words: too sweet. The pho broth was way too sweet. It also didn't have the depth of flavor which can be because the sweetness overpowered it. Even so, I should've tasted the deep bone broth but didn't. Service was attentive though.

Eric T.

Yelp
Crimson is a good stop for lunch, or any meal when in the Uptown area or in the West Village proximity. In fact, its directly across from West Village. Pretty standard pho menu on both sides. Parking is at a two hour maximum out front- that's if you are lucky enough to find available parking. Customer service from the employees is pretty good. My children pho bowl with somewhat grilled chicken was palatable. Overall, I'd return to get my pho on.

Christina H.

Yelp
Broth was on the sweeter side, portion sizes were decent. I ordered the crimson's special pho which is supposed to have rare beef, brisket and beef balls. Unfortunately I only received rare beef and beef balls. Tried to speak to a server about it and she had no idea what she served me. The Vietnamese iced coffee was in drinkable for $5.50. Ambiance was nice with a fairly clean and nice looking inside.

Linh Q.

Yelp
Love this place instantly! Parking SUCKS but it's worth the walk. Very clean restaurant, attentive servers, & great food! I had the brisket pho which was super tasty!! The broth was super Flavorful & the brisket was tender! Loved it.

Joanna M.

Yelp
I had always passed this restaurant throughout my years living in dallas and decided to give it a try. My friends were visiting from college and wanted to get some pho. Each dish was very as expected and nothing wow'ed us. We were the only ones in the restaurant and still the service was kind of slow. Everything had a good taste but again not out of this world. I enjoyed my pho and the dumplings were okay.

Zoe S.

Yelp
This pho is absolutely top tier. The broth is so so rich and amazing, some of the best pho I've ever had. A bit more oily than some others I had but.. honestly it added to the flavor
