"Enjoy Real Vietnamese Food at Pho Dai Loi Touted as the best Vietnamese food in Atlanta , the no-frills Pho Dai Loi’s three locations, (including one just minutes from the airport) serve some of the most flavorful and adventurous cuisine in the state. There’s a range of meat-based pho combos including flank, round eye, brisket, tendon, and tripe. It’s recommended to get the steak served rare on the side and then add it to the hot broth to cook for the best flavor. The service is quick, quantities are large, prices are low, and the bubble tea and cool, coconut juice perfectly pair with the restaurant's heated dishes."

TLDR: Pho was good, portion size was reasonable, restaurant needed to be bussed, employees need to get off phones. Pho I had the Pho #9, round & (well done flank I believe), size large. To address some of the other reviews. Broth: tasted good to me, not watery. Meat: There was a good amount of round/brisket, more than I had expected, and taste was good, especially the flank! Noodles: Good amount. The toppings made it feel fresh. I enjoyed the dish overall, and would order again. Or maybe just get one with the flank, I think that it was the better meat choice. Atmosphere/Service The restaurant was generally clean. That said, for 40 minutes I got to stare at two tables that had not been cleared (pic), even with numerous empty-handed employees walking by. Not terrible, but takes away from the ambience when one stares at garbage for most of their meal. To this point, to the employee doom scrolling on his phone in the middle of the dining room, I would suggest clearing tables. To further the point, to the other employee doom scrolling in the corner of the bathroom (hiding?), pick up the trash (paper towels) on the bathroom floor.

This restaurant was recommended by a coworker who raved about everything they served. I’m not a big pho person but he assured me their rice and noodle options are just as tasty. And he was absolutely right because this vermicelli bowl was fantastic. The service was quick and the food was delicious. The portions are large for both dine in and carry out. I had number 28 that comes with pork and shrimp. I added on a side of fried eggs. I topped it with everything they had available. The chili oil, oyster sauce, and sriracha. We had spring rolls too and the peanut sauce is so dark I would’ve thought it was chocolate syrup. Everything was so good we came back the next day and got take out.

My go to Vietnamese spot whenever I’m in the area. This most recent trip I was in town visiting with the Forest Park church of Christ. Food is great, service is great and fast. Servings size is big which I enjoy. I look forward to when I’m in the area again and will definitely stop by here again

A nice ambiance, spacious, great service, and plenty of seating. Everything is to the best of my memory. The fried shrimp 🍤 and brown egg roll were moist and crispy. You can definitely taste a freshness in the spring roll and works well with the peanut 🥜 sauce. My large Pho (soup) with turkey and beef was filling and fulfilling 😋. You can add some halopinos for some extra kick and the fresh vegetables are a nice finish. It was a great meal and I will be back.

This is an excellent and authentic Vietnamese restaurant. The food is tasty and plentiful and the serves are kind, patient and willing to explain if you have any questions. The phó is always a hit and the lemongrass chicken is out of this word....did I mention the portions are large? The shakes are to die for. We always get them to go to sip on in the car. The Vietnamese iced coffee...wow! Sweet, rich, great expresso taste. Been visiting since 2000.

I came to Pho Dai Loi because the place I wanted to try - Kawa 18 - was closed. Walking to Pho Dai Loi took 3 minutes. Even though it was lunch hour when I was there, Pho Dai Loi a little over half full. I was there by myself, and a staff member directed me to a table by the window. A glass of water was served before I sat down. The noise level was low enough for me to hear and be heard when I placed an order. Outside, there were sufficient parking spots available. It had a been long time - too many years - since I had pho. Didn't care for the lack of flavor. Their broth pales in comparison to the rich ramen broth. But Pho is easy to prepare. I ordered a small bowl of pho with meatballs and requested no cilantro. It was served 5 minutes later with a side dish of cilantro, bean sprouts and slices of green chilli. I put most of the bean sprouts in the pho and let them simmer for several minutes before eating. The pho was everything I expected: bland taste but sufficiently filling for a light lunch. I drank up half the broth and that was enough. (If this was a ramen broth, I'd have drunk up the entire bowl.) When I went up to pay for my order, the lady behind the cashier warbled at me. I didn't respond. She warbled again. I didn't respond. Didn't know what she was talking about. She kept making the same warble until I gave her an exasperated look. Finally, she asked, "Are ou Vietnamese?" I said "No" with a disapproving tone. She then asked, "Add tipsto payment or leave tips at table?" I opted for leaving tips at the table. Why didn't she ask first if I was Vietnamese? Why do these people like to assume that all East Asians (Japanese, Koreans, Chinese, etc.) look like them?? The lady that took my order spoke to me in English. For this slight, this establishment gets no more than 3/5 for service. As for the tip, I did not leave any. This place does not deserve it. If you ever come here to dine in, expect the Vietnamese staff to assume you're one of them and speak to you in their warble language.

I was excited to go here but was bummed about the my experience as Vietnamese food is one of my favorite cuisines to eat. We ordered: #27: the grilled shrimp and pork vermicelli and #45: beef chunks rice bowl. The meat in my plate (grilled shrimp and pork plate) tasted like butane/gas from the grill. It left a chemical after taste in my mouth. I travel a lot for work and eat at Vietnamese spots once a month and never had this issue with this particular plate. The meat on my partners plate (beef chunks) didn’t have much flavor to it. I informed the staff about my plate but they didn’t really seem to grasp what I was saying. Despite the food, the service was attentive and they were kind. This place was highly recommended so it may have just been a bad day. Looking at everyone’s table it seems like everyone ordered the pho so next time I come, I’ll try that.
