Pho Golden Star

Golden Star Pho really impressed me! The pho tastes amazing — rich broth, tender beef, and super fresh herbs. The service is so friendly and caring; they make you feel truly welcome. A cozy spot that deserves all 5 stars!

I recently visited , Pho Golden Star on St. Clair for an early dinner with a few friends, and it was such a wonderful experience. The restaurant itself is simple, but the food is full of flavour and really stands out. We ordered the seafood fried rice, which was served inside a fresh pineapple, along with a few other dishes—and everything tasted absolutely delicious. It is an authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The service made the evening even better. Our server was so attentive, making sure our tea was always topped up and checking in on us with a smile. It felt warm and welcoming from start to finish. Another big plus was the convenience of the parking lot behind the restaurant, since parking directly on St. Clair isn’t available. This place has the perfect combination of tasty food, friendly service, and convenience. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a spot with both flavour and heart.

I & my bf came here for lunch earlier today. We ordered Bún Riêu Cua & Bún Đậu Mắm Tôm, both dishes were absolutely delicious and authentic! The broth was flavorful, everything was fresh, and the portions were generous. Special thanks to Nhung, our server. She was so sweet and kind, which made the experience even better. The kitchen was also super fast, and our food came out quickly. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving Vietnamese food! I’ll definitely come back next time 💖 bonus point the playlist they played was awesome!

I would give Pho Golden Star even more stars if I could! After hearing so many great things from my friends, I finally had the chance to visit today and it completely lived up to the hype. I ordered the crab sticky rice, baby clams served with shrimp crackers, and mountain jelly veg with shrimp salad. Every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully prepared. The portions were generous, definitely great value for the price. The crab sticky rice was rich and satisfying, the baby clams were fresh and perfectly seasoned, and the shrimp salad was light, zesty, and refreshing. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese food that delivers both quality and quantity, Pho Golden Star is a must-visit. I’m already planning my next trip back!

I’ve tried almost everything on their menu, and it’s all sooo good.The pho is rich and comforting, the flavors taste just like home.The place is cozy, the staff are super sweet, and every visit makes me so happy 💚 10/10 would come back again! Highly recommend if you want something comforting and delicious!

Truly lives up to its name!!! Ive never been SOO satisfied at a Viet restaurant. My mom made lotss of delicious Viet food so i barely go out to eat Viet. But this restaurant truly wowed me and exceeded my expectations! Lovely staff, beautiful/clean/homie atmosphere and food was HUGE portion! The reason why im so amazed is bc many pho restaurants in Toronto are such a scam (both in taste and portions) but this one hits different 👌🏼👌🏼 highly recommend!

Food 4/5: I don’t like 2 or 3 dishes here, but others are top of the GTA. Highly recommend bún đậu lòng dồi. The best service! What I like most is the atmosphere, decorations, and music. They show that this is an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. Look at the map they put on the wall. It is the new Vietnam map which represents newly formed 34 cities and provinces, and Paracel and Spratly Islands. I really appreciate your work. Def come back!!!

The bún đậu mắm tôm here was amazing – super authentic and tasted exactly how it should. As a Vietnamese, I can say the flavor was spot on and really brought me back home. Tony and Nhung were so friendly, fast, and attentive. Great service, great food. Definitely recommend!
