With the incoming of cooler weather, I was craving Pho. Theres a good amount of pho spots near flushing, but Ive already tried some of them and this place seemed to have good reviews on yelp, so I decided to check it out.
Theres a smaller parking area around Pho Metro, but it seems packed most of the time. If not, you might have to park in the bigger area around right next to it, but you will always find something.
When my friend and I walked into the store for a weekday lunch, we found the store to be quite spacious. There were still a lot of tables open. There were a lot of young people operating this store. The service was great. They were quick to refill waters, bring us our meal and bring us the check which was appreciated.
As for the Pho Dac Biet, it includes every meat [brisket, rare brisket, meatballs]. I personally love the briskets. Although the rare brisket looks pink at first, it quickly cooks and turns brown in the warm soup. So in the end, it ends up being similar to a cooked brisket. And im normally not a big fan of the meatballs, but decided to choose it anyways. It was decent.
My favorite part of the pho dish was probably the soup. The soup definitely satisfied my hot soup craving. I don't know how they make it, but it's done very well and tastes amazing. I was impressed. The whole combo with the noodles, veggies, meats and soup was just what I was looking for that day. I would definitely come to order from here again
