Randomly came here Monday evening for dinner—was surprised there were no customers in the restaurant, so my family and I became skeptical. However, food turned out pretty good! For appetizers, the Gỏi Cuốn (summer rolls) was good, a bit too thick though—was not a fan of the Chả Giò (fried spring rolls), not very tasty meat filling. For entrees, I really enjoyed the Bún Riêu—very flavorful broth with lots of minced crab & pork and even had a spicy kick to it. The Phở, Hủ Tiếu & Cơm Thịt Nướng were decent. Food came out fairly quick and prices were reasonable.

Google
5/5 dinning experience. First off they were super nice to my kid. Secondly, all the food was not just good but excellent. As someone who ears their body weight in pho annually, im a pretty good judge kf pho and this place has excellent pho. Will be back.

Google
Food is great but customer service takes away from the experience. They do offer more noodles than the other Pho locations in this areas and flavoring was on target. I normally add more seasonings but it wasn’t needed. I’ll certainly go back but don’t expect for them to check on you or be nice lol

Google
Hands down the best pho I’ve had in this area! Whether you order the regular pho or the shrimp pho, they’re generous with the portions — my shrimp pho had seven big shrimp, so they’re definitely not stingy. Everything tastes fresh and delicious, and the flavor is spot on every time. I love that they have a hot pepper section, too — I like it spicy, so that extra touch makes the meal even better. The service is friendly, though it could be a little quicker — they’re usually busy, so just be patient. The atmosphere is nice, warm, and welcoming — it’s my favorite spot for pho in the area, and I always recommend it to friends and family. I’ll definitely be back again and again!

I had a soul-satisfying Phở experience at Phở Pasteur today, the flavor of today was the Phở Bò Viên. And let me tell you, it was an experience that touched my soul, especially on a rainy cold day like today. The broth was the star of the show; rich, flavorful, and comforting. But everything else in that bowl came together to create the perfect bite. It was honestly the bomb. By the time I finished, I was left with nothing but a satisfied heart and an empty bowl. And the most amazing thing is, it was actually a gift. Being new to town, I haven’t tasted Phở anywhere else yet, but I already know I don’t need to look any further. The staff was incredibly friendly, the location is great, and parking is no issue, so I’ll definitely be a frequent visitor. I was even given a recommendation for my next dish. The Bún Bò Huê and I can’t wait to try it. If you’re looking for the best Phở in town, look no further than Phở Pasteur. Mark my words, this place is a gem. I’ll be back soon.

This place served me 30 minutes before they opened 🥰. I was looking for some breakfast and I decided to come here just for that. I been here before about 2 years ago and just knew it wouldn't disappoint 😌.

Google
If I could come here once a week I would! The broth is very flavorful and the staff are friendly. Quick service too,I have never waited longer than 5 minutes for my food. Love the chicken pho bowl and the fried spring rolls!

My husband and I came here for a lunch date and had pho and fried pork spring rolls. The pho broth was really great and the spring rolls were also really good. Once we got our food the server/maybe owner never checked on us again. But the food was worth it. Highly recommended!

Yelp
**PLEASE NOTE** NO CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS!!! It was a dreary day of running errands and I decided to drop into Pho Pasteur to warm me up while the heavy rains were pouring down upon us... 1) I normally get 'Pho Ga' (chicken) but this time opted to try 'Pho Rau Cal Dau Hu'. This is their Vegetable & Tofu pho. As expected, this was a generous size, full of flavor and piping hot. The broth was delicious (I opted for the beef broth). SCORE! 2) I ask is got the 'Gỏi Cuốn' (2). This was their Fresh spring rolls made w/ soft rice paper, wrapped with shrimp (ordered w/ NO SHRIMP), pork, vermicelli noodles, and vegetables. It comes with a side of peanut sauce. The rolls weren't bad, per se, but I've been spoiled with rolls veggie rolls that had beets, basil, carrots, cucumbers and other fragrant aromatics in the roll (ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! Those are NOT the rolls offered here). The rolls here @ Pasteur... did the job, if I wanted iceberg rolls, I suppose. They were mostly stuffed w/ flavorless iceberg lettuce and flavorless vermicelli noodles. They were beyond bland. It was a waste of an appetizer. CRIME! I won't be getting them again. EVER! Take away: Pho was delicious and filling. Fresh spring rolls were a massive MISS!!

Yelp
A place to get bowls of happiness! Very delicious food in a strip mall in Catonsville. Decor clean and staff friendly. Went in the winter; very little heat in room- had to wear our coats while we ate! Quick service and generous portions.

Yelp
I got the #6 which was excellent. The toppings are fresh. The service is fast and friendly.

Yelp
I love ordering the summer rolls with the pho. The food tasted amazing. In terms of the ambiance, the vibe is very calm and quiet. It was a great experience! I appreciate how attentive and caring the owners are especially when serving.

Yelp
My coworkers love this place, so I order food from here often. The Pho is just delicious. The service is super fast. You can eat lunch here in less than 20 minutes. The price is affordable for what you get.

Yelp
Food was good. I would eat here again. It's a nice environment. My husband and I got the Lemongrass marinated steak. Comes with Lettuce, Dicon carrots and radish, jalapeño, and of course your choice of meat. Our starters were pork egg roll which was fried to perfection with a sweet chili dipping sauce. And spring pork and shrimp spring roll. It was great. Service could use a little help it took them awhile to bring the check. But bring the food was flawless.

Yelp
Food: Bun bo hue - 9/10 One of the better Bun bo hue in the area. Very glad we gave this pho restaurant a try! Wife is sick and i know she would enjoy a nice bowl of Bun bo hue. Service: Called ahead for pick up around 11:50am. Picked up at 12:09pm. Ordering was straightforward. Would i come again? Yes

Yelp
The broth tastes more like Chinese broth and needs more spices but everything was delicious! I have to order a Banh Mi every time I get Pho now -Jahhman

Yelp
Water was given right as you sit at the table. The spring rolls had an awesome sticky rice wrap. Everything was cooked so yummy. Food came out about like three minutes after we ordered so fairly quick. The man who took our order was nice. Definitely want to return and Definitely recommend.

Yelp
This is one of the better places for Vietnamese food in this area. Sometimes other places tend to make the broth a little too salty or flavorless for pho chay but this one was a decent broth. I liked the gọi cuốn chay as well! Food was out quick & the restaurant had a homey feel so I liked it!

Yelp
Everything is consistently delicious and food is always ready lightning fast. A tried and true in our regular rotation.

Yelp
Favorite pho place! Broth is very meaty. Favorite is large no. 2 with extra rare steak.

Yelp
Food was amazing! We all got the Pho Ga and it was fast and friendly service. It is a small place tucked away in a mini mall type area by the H-Mart but it is clean and well kept on the inside. The AC was not working well so not sure if it was due to a temporary problem or not, but on a 95 degree day outside that was the only downside. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Stopped by here for the first time last weekend. Food was fresh and very authentic. Flavors were great. I do wish there were more shrimp with the one order. The shredded pork was also served cold. I'm assuming that's standard, not really something I would get again though. I do feel like the restaurant could be a little cleaner, but that could just be the age of the building. Overall I would say everything was priced fairly and do recommend trying this establishment if you're in the area.

Yelp
Just stopped by here for some Vietnamese coffee (ca phe sua da) and browsed through their menu a little bit. They have a nice menu with a lot of options. Maybe I'll come back someday to try their food. Overall, the coffee was really good. I really enjoyed it and the ambience was very chill and nice.

Lila L.

Yelp
The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered a pork over rice and I can't begin to describe how generous they were with the serving. The service is so great, having your food delivered quick and is ever so fresh

Yelp
A very good Vietnamese restaurant. I'm new to the area and wanted to try afew different places. This is one of my favorites. While I love pho, this time I wanted to try their noodle bowl. The meat was nicely grilled, tender and flavorful. And the sauce was spot on. I'm looking forward to trying their pho on my next trip to the area.

Yelp
Cold rainy day & wanted to try one of our local Pho establishments... Aside from freezing inside, the dining rm was super cute.. We ordered tea to warm us up.. it was so refreshing.. For an app, my daughter & I ordered spring rolls.. They came out pretty quick.. Now, if you're wondering about the rating... there was hairs in my food.. Not just sitting on the plate, the hairs were wrapped within the roll.. I immediately made the waitress aware, and she was extremely apologetic, but at that point, I was ready to go. I get things happen. However, I am big on cleanliness..

Yelp
Best pho in the area! And a great price, with a good variety of dishes. Service is nice enough, and they are very helpful.

Yelp
We came here on a Monday late afternoon. We were the only ones in the restaurant and got seating wherever we wanted. We were here before but we came back again to get pics for a review. This place is definitely authentic and they offer good pho. I love their bun bo hue and they also take credit cards. I think Pho Van is probably the best in the area, but one of their downsides is that they are cash only and Pho Pasteur is the only pho restaurant we know of that offers similar quality and pricing, but also takes credit card. This restaurant is also inside the same parking lot as H Mart so parking will be FREE! My GF got the classic #1 on their menu which met our expectation for a good bowl of pho. I got the bun bo hue, which was also delicious. The slices of meat on the bun bo hue was a little tough, but nothing unbearable. Both the broths were definitely flavorful and tasty with the bun bo hue being spicy. The customer service is always on point here, we encounter any problems here with them. Our food came out within 5 minutes of ordering which is typical for a Vietnamese restaurant especially when you order Pho. We love the broth here because it carries a lot of umami. You can tell that they don't water down their broth. Their noodles also are chewy and does not break apart easily. I noticed that they started doing Banh mi now which they did not before. That is good because there isn't a lot of options for Banh mi in the area. We will definitely return to try when we are craving it again!

Yelp
My family and I had 3 of the sandwiches (C,D, E) The meat was fine but they're kind of skimpy with the amount they give you. The veggies were fresh. They don't use the bread I'm used to on a Bahn MI style sandwich. This tasted more like Italian bread. It was ok but not the best. Overall, I don't regret trying it but I wasn't really impressed. Side note: the tiled floor inside is super slippery so proceed with caution
google avatar

Yelp
Great tofu and vegetables pho, vegetable egg roll and Thai tea. I needed some nutritious comfort food to warm my soul after a taxing day at work. The customer service , cleanliness and atmosphere were all A+. It was my first time getting take out here but it won't be my last. I'll eat in during my next visit.
google avatar

Quin B.

Yelp
Came here because it was conveniently located next to h-mart. Overall the food was good. The broth was spicy and flavorful for bun bo hue. I just didn't like that the meat tasted a bit stale so docking stars because of that. Otherwise overall a good experience. Perhaps I just had a bad batch.
google avatar

Yelp
Great Bahn mi here! I've never had their pho but enjoyed my sandwich. Service i did take out so not sure but they were fast. Ambiance not great it's an old spot. Needs some renovations.

Yelp
I am not any expert on Vietnamese cuisine by any means, but this was not just as good as our regular place just .5 mile away. Our joint was closed on a Tuesday, so we ended up here at 1:30pm for lunch. It is never a good sign when you hear the microwave heating up a portion of your meal. Also, I had a bún noodle dish that was just okay. The egg rolls were over-fried and the noodles were very bland until I added chili sauce and soy sauce (#33). My husband did enjoy his clear noodle soup (#24). The summer rolls were sub-par compared to what we have had at other Vietnamese restaurants. The service was also not great, as there was no follow-up or guidance to what side dishes went with our two very different entrees. Again, I'm n expert, so I need assistance. But, I like what I like.
google avatar

Yelp
Impressed! Food came out hot about 5 minutes after ordering. The small restaurant handled an unannounced group of ~20 people incredibly well. I ordered the #2, the pho tai (eye of round) because I am not particularly meat-adventurous. Great value and portion for sure. The broth was particularly strong in star anise to me, but a Viet friend told me that in pho in Vietnam's it's even stronger. I'll take that as a mark of authenticity. I liked the firmness of the noodles too. The place also offered avocado smoothies among others, which was creamy and sweet. The owner is very sweet and even washed my friend's umbrella for her after we had a mishap with the aforementioned avocado smoothie. When I was there, the credit card system was down, so make sure you have some cash in you just in case!

Yelp
I've been wanting to try pho for a long time, but I've never gotten around to it. Of course I went to Yelp to read reviews, Pho Pasteur reviews were impressive. I wanted my first experience to be memorable and it truly was. I ordered a spring roll as an appetizer, number 68 on the menu with no pork. It was fresh and the peanut sauce complimented the roll nicely. I also ordered shrimp pho, which came in beef broth but you can sub for chicken broth. The broth wasn't too salty or watery. The shrimp was very fresh and perfectly steamed! I experimented with the condiments and the veggies and lime that came on the side. I would say my favorite was the hoisin sauce, the basil wasn't my favorite, and I requested extra green onions to add to my pho. Customer service was great, the waiters were pleasant, and the speed of service was extremely fast. By the time I placed my order it was as out in literally one minute, no lie! We're coming back and I'm going to try something different.
google avatar

Jannet C.

Yelp
I've been going to this place for a long time. I usually get their pho. Today I tried something different, their Bun Rieu, which is a spicy tomato soup with crab balls, fried tofu, shrimp, crawfish and pork slices. As with all of their soups, this is also served with fresh mint, basil, bean sprouts, lime and peppers. I really enjoyed this soup, bc it was hot, comforting, sweet, sour, spicy and very filling.
google avatar

Nardia H.

Yelp
Very delicious, been here a few times. it's a nice and quiet place where you can sit and eat in peace. I love the Bun Bo Hue
google avatar

Beau M.

Yelp
The staff is super nice and extremely helpful! The pho tastes more like a Chinese soup than pho but it's still delicious none the less! I will be back again!

Yelp
Visited once after a grocery trip to H mart and I am addicted to the bahn mi. It doesn't look like much but when you bite into it, the bread is so crispy and there is a decent amount of juicy pork, light sauce, and fresh veggies. The pho is also very good as the meat comes while cooking in the broth, which makes the bite more satisfying and soft when it's time to eat. The fried rice was also very good, I always get it on the side to share. We had quite a bit of pho left overs(veggies) and the waitress gave us extra broth to take home with the leftover pho meat/veggies. Overall, the service is great, fast, and the food always hits the spot!
google avatar

Yelp
Pho Real! Authentic Vietnamese. Pho and more. Appetizers are well done. Rice wrapped rolls have a fresh crunch and taste. Pho is great! And rice dishes also very good. Impressed with attention and speed of meal, even when crowded. No lunch special, but every meal is just over ten dollars. Location right next to H mart also a plus.
google avatar

Yelp
Their location is convenient for when you're shopping off of Rolling Road. Their pho is good and the service is quick.

Yelp
Pho Pasteur seems to be very hit or miss, and the quality of the food varies substantially. I've had pretty good pho from here pre-Covid-19, and when I got take out recently, I found it to be subpar. The pho broth was just a little oily and disappointing. The banh mi combo that I ordered was even more disappointing. Limited vegetables and cilantro, and the cha lau (meat) was thin and poorly flavored. Disappointing visit, but even more disappointing when one of the servers wasn't wearing a mask.
google avatar

Janeise J.

Yelp
I've been here twice so far, once for carryout and once for dine in. I give it 5 out of 5. Service is always amazing and fast. I mean, we seated and were given our food in abt 10 mins after we ordered. No joke. I went to wash my hands and the food was right behind me lol. I love that. And everything was delicious. I ordered the #7 pho and died shrimp. With an order of spring rolls. I wasn't sure if I would like them but loved them with the peanut sauce. So yummy and perfect for a cold day. My regular size bowl was just enough for me and even with the spring rolls was less than $15. Cant beat that I will definitely be back! Sorry didn't take pics I was too hungry lol
google avatar

Adam K.

Yelp
Ordered some pho and appetizer to go. It was overall okay. When I picked up, the place was mostly empty with a few people eating. The floor was a little slick (to be fair, it was rainy outside) but the rest of the place was clean. I was greeted and rung up quickly. The vegetarian spring roll was decent with a tasty peanut dipping sauce. We got three types of pho: one with beef, one with shrimp, and one vegetarian. BE AWARE: all of the broth was the same, so I would not rely on the others being pescetarian or vegetarian friendly. The broth was good, a little heavy on the star anise but not overpowering. The beef pho was standard, but good. The shrimp was okay, but a few of the shrimp were mushy in a they-shouldn't-have-served-these kind of way; we ditched those. The vegetarian was delightful with big chunks of cabbage, bok choy, and broccoli. It was just a little odd having that with a beef broth background. The prices are hard to beat and the food was ready quickly (I only live 10 minutes away). It's not my favorite pho place in town, but if I steer clear of the shrimp, I think I would come back.

Yelp
After H Mart, I suggest Pho Pasteur for lunch. Just a few doors down in the same shopping center, Pho Pasteur invited us in for lunch and we accepted. We both had the vermicelli noodles with bean sprouts and lettuce with grilled chicken. Everything was delicious. We also had the spring rolls with a lovely spicy peanut sauce. Divine. All told, this was a little over $20, well worth the quality and amount of food. I had leftovers the next day for lunch and it was just as tasty. Service was fast and pleasant and the bathrooms were clean. Thanks, Pho Pasteur of Catonsville, Maryland.

Yelp
Hands down my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the area, and there's a LOT of competition. I confess, I'm not a big soup fan so I'll take my BF's word that the pho is excellent. I can say with total confidence that the bun is great. I'm obsessed with Vietnamese grilled pork and theirs does not disappoint. Add some grilled shrimp and you've really got something. My only complaint about the beef in grape leaves is that you get 3 to an order ethic means we always fight over who gets 2. Order hot tea and you get a pot of loose leaf jasmine with adorable glass cups. The iced tea was way too sweet for me but if you cut it with the jasmine tea, it's drinkable. Service is lighting fast. I swear one day our order will just be sitting on the table waiting for us when we walk in the door.
google avatar

Yelp
Consistently great pho. Eating on site is always best, but the take out pho soup is as good as you can get.
google avatar

Yelp
A friend introduced me to Pho Pasteur. Located in a shopping center where H Mart is. I ordered the fresh garden rolls and this was not as impressive as other Vietnamese restaurants. The skin was broken in many areas so was pretty messy to eat. The pho is where this place really shines. Always taste the broth first! This broth was so umami and even the small bowl provided a large portion of noodles and meat. In addition to pho, my husband ordered the combination banh mi which I had a couple bites of. These were so good - the bread was nice and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. There was a variety of Vietnamese cold cuts with pate, cilantro, cucumber, and jalapeno. Prices were good, especially compared to the place we normally go to in the city.
google avatar

Yelp
Smelled great but lacked flavor, and had I paid closer attention to the pictures, Id have noticed their Bún Bó Huė wld be bland and inauthentic. What they served me was the equivalent of beef pho, with a mildly savoury broth....at BEST. It wasn't even rich like this dish typically is...the broth was super thin and watered down like they diluted it to stretch. Definitely devoid of the layered beefy brothy depth achieved by simmering the meat and spices in the traditional manner. On top of that, I came in on a really chilly day, and it wasn't even piping hot. I've had this dish several times before with my Vietnamese friends, and this was a pretty crappy imitation. I definitely won't be back , especially when Pho Saigon is right up the road, as well as a plethora of other spots I could have tried instead. Pretty disappointing.
google avatar

G M.

Yelp
This is one the the best Pho spots around Ellicott City. The Pho broth is unique, to me this means I don't need to add fish sauce or hoisin sauce to it , just the normal Thai basil leaves and lime wedge. It's also at least $1 - $2 cheaper than everyone else. The appetizers were spot on to me, especially the beef wrapped in grape leaves. There is one more thing besides excellent friendly service, THEY ARE FAST WITH THE FOOD, for most things so far. I will be a forever repeat customer!!
google avatar

Chelsea N.

Yelp
I always get the pho tai when I go here and have never been disappointed. If your looking for the type of pho you'd expect to find, this is your place. Some other area places slice their meat too thick or don't give hot enough broth with takeout but I've always had exactly what I'd expect from pho Pasteur and the workers are always prompt.
google avatar

Jane D.

Yelp
Was on a mini vacation and went to Pho Pasteaur on recommendations from several boards. I have to admit, I'm a bit of a pho snob having grown up eating pho and other vietnamese soups. The boyfriend order the pho -- the broth was way too rich and beef was not that great. I, however, ordered the bun bo hue, and have to admit, it was great. If you don't like a lot of lemongrass, this may not be the soup for you. It is spicy with a lot of beef flavor. Service was good even though they were busy. All in all, I would recommend them.
google avatar

Phillip L.

Yelp
The main issue with this place would be their food safety and their response to covid 19. This Server went out side for smoke and came back without washing his hands, and right away serving without gloves on. Of course I returned the food I would also recommend the location to have a standard of uniforms not wearing pajamas.

Yelp
Perfect for a carryout lunch! I'd prefer to eat in, but I needed to bring it back to my office. The flavors of the broth for the beef pho are perfect and aromatic. Everything we needed was included in the containers. They really pack those carry out containers full! We had to use a fork to get the noodles out! Great value for the $. Quick, convenient, and delicious. I will absolutely come here again!

Colleen Q.

Yelp
Super quick and always delicious. It's become a new go-to place for us. Delicious thai tea and the pho is delicious. Did I mention delicious? It's delicious.

Judy R.

Yelp
Pho Pasteur is a great little restaurant. It's not much for ambiance, but the food is authentic and delicious, and the service is excellent. If you are a vegetarian, they will make you a veg banh mi with tofu even though it's not on the menu. Can't beat that!
