The location is unique—tucked away in an alley where bikes pass by as you eat, adding to the authentic street food experience. However, for those who are hygiene-conscious or sensitive to strong odors, this spot might not be ideal. The raw meat and chopping board smell can be a bit surprising. Their fried dough 'Quẩy' is firm and oily—not great on its own but pairs wonderfully when dipped into the savory pho broth. A must-try for adventurous foodies seeking authentic flavors!

IMHO this shop serves one of the best Pho Bo (beef noddles) in Hanoi! The price is right with generous portions of beef, in the tourist belt vicinity of Hoan Kiem Lake! The shop's street alley atmosphere won't let you feel touristy. The workers are fast & understand English. I ordered a Jumbo bowl beef mix pho (100,000d) with a plate of bread sticks (15,000d) and it's totally worth it

Really love Pho! Freshly cooked meat and chopped fresh for the meal. The lads who served me were blunt but polite enough. Cosy setting and shared dining experience with other tourists.

I was almost losing hope, as the phở we’d tried in Vietnam so far hadn’t lived up to our expectations. Having already experienced some of the best phở in Los Angeles and San Diego, we naturally used that as our standard (I know I shouldn’t compare, but Vietnamese chefs in California have done an excellent job representing their country’s cuisine—one of the reasons that inspired me to travel here in the first place). Phở Thìn Bờ Hồ was undoubtedly one of the best bowls of phở I’ve had during our family trip to Vietnam, better if not on par with Phở Gia Truyền Bát Đàn, also here in Hanoi. The portions were generous, and the combination of cuts gave the broth rich depth. The meat itself was tender and flavorful, with just the right balance of textures. I’m really glad we had the chance to eat here. Thank you!

Today is my first day in Vietnam. I tried beef pho, one of the most famous dishes in Vietnam. The pho is delicious, cheap, and everyone is friendly.

Was skeptical with the high number of reviews, thought that it would be a tourist trap. But during my visit there were many locals dining there. Food was great!

beef was tender and not fishy at all, soup clear and flavorful, rice noodles stayed intact. additional egg also good but careful the soup hot.

My 2nd day in Hanoi and my first try of Pho. This was a good pho. This will be my first reference here and let's see if I can find better than this. It cost 60,000 VND. No wait and quick service.
