Phong Nha Farmstay

I was most happy with my stay at Phong Nha Farmstay. The National Park offers a lot of attractions and it was a bit overwhelming to make a good plan for a visit. The Phong Nha Farmstay has suggestions for 1, 2 or 3-day stays and takes care individually about everyone. I followed a 2-day plan and it was amazing, especially the Easy Rider loop around the park (on a backseat of a motorbike). The place itself is a lovely farm in colonial style with beautiful views and nature sounds. The staff is very friendly and kind - you feel like around good, relaxed family. The stay gave me unforgettable memories and I can honestly recommend it to everyone!

Or if you do want to organise your itinerary, contact the Farmstay and ask their advice as they are well connected and will get the best deal for you and the local community.| • Listen to the Podcasts the owner has made which are really informative - without them, you won’t know what you’re looking at!| • Cash: Take lots – ATMs can be unreliable.| • Scooter rides: Ben arranged two local women riders for me and my teenage daughter. Felt safe, comfortable, and turned into one of the best days of our trip. Highly recommended.| • Phong Nha Cave: Don’t stop at the first cave—climb up to the second chamber for a proper explore.| • Dark Cave: Mud bath and swimming = hilarious fun. Wear old swimwear!| • Pub with Cold Beer: Does exactly what it says, plus a pool.| • Duck Stop: A bit gimmicky – worth skipping if short on time.||Overall: Farmstay and Victory Road Villas make a brilliant combo for exploring Phong Nha with comfort and local insight.

We had a lovely stay at phong na farmstay. We can really recommend the easy rider excursion. It is an easy and save way to enjoy the lively scenic routes to the caves and we also went to the botanical gaden. The drivers are really experienced and know what they are doing. We felt save and people are so friendly. I would say: go for it!

We had three hugely enjoyable days staying at this blissful place.  Water buffalo graze in the paddy fields that surround the property, but - aside from the occasional cock crowing - there's nothing farmlike about the lovely sophisticated accommodation.  We stayed in a beautiful family villa with huge rooms and its own private pool. ||A particular shout out to Long for lots of helpful suggestions for making the most of your stay.  We borrowed bikes to cycle around the paddy fields, rode on the back of motorbikes to the Dark Cave and Paradise Cave, and took the Farmstay's free shuttle to the boat dock for sailing into the Phong Nha Cave.  ||We were so glad we booked to stay at the Farmstay rather than busy Phong Nha town, and it was great to be able to relax in the pool and the on site restaurant after energetic days exploring the enormous cave systems. ||Such a beautiful friendly place, it was hard to leave!

We recently stayed at Farmstay for 4 nights. Arriving in the middle of the night they kindly prepared the room beforehand and helped with early check in. Our room was clean, well decorated, with unlimited water refills and everything else we needed. The pool and bar area over looks the fields to give a real safari vibe at sunset. Food was great. Staff were very helpful and always made effort to chat. We went out via motorbike or on excursions everyday, which are easy to set up through the team. Location yes is out of the way of main Phong Nha, but I think that’s the charm of it. Also the team are all set up to help arrange taxis and give you a driver, if not a scooter for yourself. Would recommend anyone to stay here!

We have had an incredible stay at Farmstay. The staff is super friendly, Long helped us out so much with arranging all the activities! Perfect English speaking staff. The atmosphere is very cozy and nice with a magical view. Activities enough in the surroundings.Caves, and we went on the back of 4 motorcycles with the children (5,8,10) to discover the surroundings! This was amazing! The good this is that all costs also for transport and activities can be charged on your bill. Super easy! Definitely a place to come back to! Next time we would like to stay in the rooms close to the restaurant, since our (beautiful villa with private pool) was quite far (few min drive) from the restaurant. We also enjoyed the night at the chefs table when we had dinner with other guests (you can choose not to if you do not feel like this). The music and the vibe is very relaxed and laid back! We also thought the WhatsApp group were activities are being shared in worked great! A 100 A+ stay! Thank you Ben and your team! We will be back soon, Minke and family!

This is the place to stay while in Phong Nha. It’s so peaceful. A bit away from the main downtown but for the best. Overlooking the rice fields where you see gorgeous sunsets and water buffalo roaming. Food and drinks were good. Music for the ambiance perfectly. Staff is so helpful. We used free bicycles to explore the area which was amazing. They helped us book transit to and from the airport, as well as a kayak tour of the caves (highly recommend).

An unforgettable stay - it doesn't get any better than this! We can't put into words how incredibly satisfied we are with our stay at this farmstay. From the very first minute we were welcomed with a warmth that is second to none. The service was one of the best we have ever experienced - attentive, personal and truly all-round caring. Everything was taken care of: transfers, excursions, special requests - simply everything was organized with a naturalness and friendliness that impressed me deeply. The accommodation was clean, cozy and lovingly decorated. The food was homemade, fresh and simply delicious. We have rarely felt so welcome and well looked after as here. Especially Long, the manager of the Farmstay, was really helpful! He even managed our next accommodation, organised a flight from Phong Nha to Hanoi and was absolutely friendly and welcoming. A place full of warmth, peace and genuine hospitality. I will definitely be back - and can only warmly recommend this special place to everyone! 5 out of 5 stars - absolutely deserved.
