Phong Nha Farmstay

We recently stayed at Farmstay for 4 nights. Arriving in the middle of the night they kindly prepared the room beforehand and helped with early check in. Our room was clean, well decorated, with unlimited water refills and everything else we needed. The pool and bar area over looks the fields to give a real safari vibe at sunset. Food was great. Staff were very helpful and always made effort to chat. We went out via motorbike or on excursions everyday, which are easy to set up through the team. Location yes is out of the way of main Phong Nha, but I think that’s the charm of it. Also the team are all set up to help arrange taxis and give you a driver, if not a scooter for yourself. Would recommend anyone to stay here!

We enjoyed 3 nights at the Phong Nha Farmstay and wish there were more. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, exhale and enjoy the natural beauty and smiles of Vietnam. The caves were EPIC and we had so much fun with our teens experiencing bike tours and local farms visits. The scenery, warm hospitality and memories made were priceless. The family room easily accommodated our tall brood of 5 and there was plenty of choice for fussy eaters. Free bicycles and shuttles to town were great. A big shout out to Ben, Bick, Long, Bing and our “bike leader”, Minh who helped create one of the best family experiences ever.

My family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids ages 10, 13, 15) stayed at the Farmstay for 6 nights in April, and it was FABULOUS!! We were 9 months into a 14-month round-the-world-trip and the Farmstay was a splurge for us: a chance to slow down and rejuvenate after many months of shifting from city to city. The Farmstay offered excellent accommodations that were clean, comfortable and colourful, and the restaurant and pool were top notch. All of the staff were wonderful, in particular Thu, Diem, and Long. A fabulous team all ‘round. |We really appreciated the local advice, the swimming pool and billiards table, the daily free transport to town, and the great tours on offer. We did the 1-day Ma Da Valley trek, Phong Nha Cave, cycled Bong Lai Valley by borrowing the farmstay’s bikes and had a blast at the Monkey Bridge riding challenge, and toured the Discovery Park area on the Easy Rider motorcycles, which were fun and safe.|We would highly recommend the Farmstay. A professional, happy, and welcoming spot, and worth every penny.

This is the place to stay while in Phong Nha. It’s so peaceful. A bit away from the main downtown but for the best. Overlooking the rice fields where you see gorgeous sunsets and water buffalo roaming. Food and drinks were good. Music for the ambiance perfectly. Staff is so helpful. We used free bicycles to explore the area which was amazing. They helped us book transit to and from the airport, as well as a kayak tour of the caves (highly recommend).

An unforgettable stay - it doesn't get any better than this! We can't put into words how incredibly satisfied we are with our stay at this farmstay. From the very first minute we were welcomed with a warmth that is second to none. The service was one of the best we have ever experienced - attentive, personal and truly all-round caring. Everything was taken care of: transfers, excursions, special requests - simply everything was organized with a naturalness and friendliness that impressed me deeply. The accommodation was clean, cozy and lovingly decorated. The food was homemade, fresh and simply delicious. We have rarely felt so welcome and well looked after as here. Especially Long, the manager of the Farmstay, was really helpful! He even managed our next accommodation, organised a flight from Phong Nha to Hanoi and was absolutely friendly and welcoming. A place full of warmth, peace and genuine hospitality. I will definitely be back - and can only warmly recommend this special place to everyone! 5 out of 5 stars - absolutely deserved.

Wonderful 2 nights spent in phong nha farm stay... Been to many rustic country side properties earlier but this will stay in out hearts forever only because of their staff! Finding english speaking staff in Vietnam at this remote location was such a boon! And to top it, they were forever ready to help and serve with a smiling face! Specially out dear Sau... We were a group of 13 with kids but she was so patient and cooperative that we will remember her always! Wishing the whole team a great future ahead!

A Hidden Gem in Phong Nha – Can’t Wait to Return! We had such a wonderful stay at Phong Nha Farmstay – it truly felt like a little slice of paradise. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with open arms – so friendly, warm, and genuinely helpful. We stayed in the Pool Villa, and wow… it was absolutely stunning. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, the bed was incredibly comfortable (like sleeping on a cloud!), and everything was spotless. The food was delicious – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented – we found ourselves looking forward to every meal. What made our stay truly unforgettable was the personal touch. We arrived during a bike tour, and the amazing manager, Long, went above and beyond – taking us out on some local trails and showing us hidden gems of Phong Nha that we would have never discovered on our own. It felt like a real adventure, and Long’s kindness and passion for the area made it all the more special. This place has a special kind of magic – peaceful, welcoming, and full of heart. It’s the kind of place that stays with you long after you leave. We’re already dreaming of coming back. Highly, highly recommend!

This place is an amazing oasis and a traveller's dream offering all the amenities you could imagine. Ben and his wife have a great team ready to help with anything that you might need. Caves were impressive and it's a great way to experience vietnamese village life while still having all the amenities you might want while travelling. Quyen was great with entertaining our baby and taking care of up durring breakfast as well. Rooms are comfortable and pool is great for kids and adults. Don't miss this stop if you are travelling through Vietnam.
