We paid 3 million VND for one night, and after this experience, we wouldn’t come back again
Before arriving, we already told your team that we were bringing four dogs and even shared their breeds, and since the resort is listed as “pet friendly,” we expected no issues. No one informed us about any pet fee during booking or at check-in, but three hours later we suddenly received a message saying there would be a 500,000 VND charge. This should have been communicated from the start.
The attitude of the receptionist with glasses was very unfriendly and made us feel uncomfortable. During checkout, they checked the room in a way that felt like they was purposely trying to find faults. We even overheard her saying on the phone in Vietnamese 🤡: “Just charge them, people like that don’t care about 500,000 VND.” This was extremely disrespectful. Umm Hello ? I could understand you lady!
On the positive side, the woman from Morocco in the morning was very friendly, and the kayak experience was peaceful. The place was beautiful.
We could have had a nice stay, but this really affected us. We hope the resort can improve communication and staff attitude for future guests, especially those traveling with pets.
