been going here for about a year now! i cannot reccomend this business ENOUGH!! I live about a 1.5 hr ride away (2 trains) and i still will not give up this film shop. I went in today around 1pm and my photos were ready in ONE hour! Super kind staff and super organized! I will never choose any other place to develop my film! I’ve developed my senior trip, grad photos, 18th birthday and many more life milestones here. So, i’m glad to continue to do business with them:)

One happy customer! Came here because I was searching for a cost efficient lab to develop my film rolls (mostly 35mm). Photolife offered amazingly quick turn around and top it off the standard jpeg scans are free! This is super helpful because my camera was experiencing some difficulties loading and often times I would test rolls - coming back blank is a bummer - hits super hard when you paid an additional cost just to scan a blank roll. At photolife this isn’t a problem - I’ll definitely be returning!

I recently went to Photo Life to get passport pictures taken, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The service was quick, affordable, and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout the process. The photos came out perfectly. The price was also very reasonable, especially compared to chain stores. I was in and out in 10 minutes. I've also heard great things about their film developing services--apparently the turnaround time is incredibly fast (sometimes same day!) and their scans are top-notch, with beautiful color and detail. Photo Life is the most economical place to develop and scan film that I know of in NYC, and they do a decent job. Turnaround is also very fast; sometimes I get my scanned photo back within the same day.

Amaaaaazing place! Every one in here is always so friendly and professional, the service is crazy fast and so well priced I’ve even gotten digitals back same day after dropping off early that morning. Prints typically ready the next day!

the best film lab i’ve been to, bar none. 7$ for development and great high quality scans with a turn around rate that is unparalleled. dropped off a roll on a saturday at 12:30 and got the scans emailed less than 3 hours later.
