We'll, what a little gem, set in a quiet side street, hidden by its wooden doors to the front residents area that leads to courtyard reception with very helpful and friendly staff. Hotel I believe has 30 rooms. Courtyard meeting area to sit, chat, eat and relax with a lovely little cafe for breakfast, snacks, teas and coffees. Step back in time with it's decor, hand decorated rooms as it you would find in early years. Washing/drying machines on site. Communial Mini Bar where you can store your drinks etc in the fridge. Just write your room number on the items. We had a double room with ensuite,| air con, ceiling fan and small balcony overlooking the courtyard. Daily room service.|Ideally situated for a short walk to the river side, various bus routes stop here too. 7/11 on corner plus street hawkers selling food drinks etc. 15 minutes walk to the local pier for hop on hop off river boat service which was good value for the day. Airport was £12.23 from hotel using Grab, plus tolls if you go via the highway which is 10 minutes quicker. If visiting the Emerald Buddha temple, legs and shoulders must be covered. Little stall opposite exit hires trousers and wraps for 50bht. For us, Old Bangkok has more to offer with more traditional things to find along with this lovely traditional hotel.
