Lost somewhere in the north of Thailand, this hotel immediately creates a unique atmosphere. Yes, it's old, but that only adds to its charm. It feels like a place forgotten by time, yet still alive in its own way. The location is incredibly secluded, with almost no people around, making it perfect for those seeking peace and solitude.
There are excellent trekking trails, about 4–5 km long, leading to small tea plantations. However, if you don't have a car, be aware that there are no shops nearby, so you'll be somewhat limited. But if you're looking for a complete escape from civilization, this is more of a benefit than a drawback.
The hotel has a nice restaurant serving traditional northern Thai cuisine. The atmosphere is especially magical in the evening when the lights come on. The design blends natural elements with charming details, creating a cozy and harmonious vibe. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into decorating the rooms—every little detail feels carefully chosen with love and attention.
The only downside was a loud party nearby at midnight, which made it hard to sleep, though luckily, it happened only once.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. This place is perfect for those looking to disconnect from the hustle and bustle, immerse themselves in nature, and embrace a slower, more peaceful rhythm of life.
