Phu House Hostel

So this is my second year hanging out at the Phu House, and this time , I can say without a doubt that their rooms and service are unmatched on the budget travel scene. I rent a private room which was surprisingly affordable and quite comfortable. I’ve double the price for rooms that were not as nice. And as far as the service goes, the manager Fred was first class, with information about the area and a desire to make sure that I had the perfect stay. I particularly like the Phu House’s community and activities. From live music to free beer afternoons, this spot was ideal. Moreover, the Gorilla Island Hopping Cruise is a blast and shouldn’t be missed. All and all, the Phu House is more than a hostel/guest house… it’s a destination unto itself.

I stayed in this hostel for 2 days as I was planning to explore centre city and south of the city. I rented a bike to explore conveniently. Although there is a free bus service available in the centre of the city for your commute purpose. The hostel has both sharing and independent rooms availability. One drawback is their male washroom wasn’t clean that much as compared to female washroom. Apart from this a great value stay, deal I got it from online booking. 😉 Free tip - Book tickets via third party platforms to get best and cost effective deals.

I had a pleasant experience at this hostel. The rooms were clean, had good working AC and all beds had no see through curtains. The staff was really nice! They take initiative for socializing - also with their free beer from 5-5:30pm offer. The reception lady was really friendly and helpful! She recommended me a lot of good authentic vietnamese food and was happy to answer me my questions about vietnamese culture! The hostel also includes a rental service for motorbikes. There are a lot of nice places to check out👍🏼 For their price it's definitely a worthy deal!

I stay 3 days in this hostel and I really enjoy the place. Since the bar playing music close late, you can easily meet people there. They also serve food and the hotel office have plenty of activities to do in the island!

This is by far the best hostel I stayed at, AC works well, the architecture is unique - Hoi An old style - and the rooms are just great! The front desk staff welcomed us right away and hear this: they give free beers to all their guests from 5pm to 5.30pm, we couldn't miss the opportunity! The staff is generally good, we got to play games and chill at times. Overall just good! Visit them if you're ever around Duong Dong Phu Quoc. Forgot to mention that the nearest supermarket is 100mt away and there is a free bus connecting well to most attractions nearby.

A great place to stay close to everything important. Staff have a long list of fun activities to book you in for, and there's always someone to have a cold local beer with. The rooms are really nice with good bathrooms and you will find Josh behind the bar to fill you in on where to go and what to do. The rooftop bar and cafe part also has a beautiful view. And the buildings architecture is very interesting. Free pool in the bar, breakfast coffee and food avaliable. Free beer at happy hour too

Great location! Super friendly staff and clean rooms and bathrooms are nice and close to the rooms which makes it convenient! We stayed here one night and it was great! We were taken care of really well and the vibe of the place is great! The bar is super nice and has great prices for drinks! It’s always popping with people playing pool or hanging out in the common area. We rented a bike from here and it was an amazing price! I definitely recommend staying here it was super cool and i definitely will be back.

They are friendly so it's easy to communicate and provide whatever you need as long as they can!They serve food and bev. motorbike rental, they also have tour packages, free beer, family dinner, etc. (a lot) Great location near the night market! there's also a market across the street! (Kingkong) And a bus stop, too. (just across the street) I'll stay here again on my next visit. (Anyway I just extended my stay for 3 more nights!)P.S. They have a quiet room!
