The rooms are decent overall. I stayed in a four bed dorm and was lucky with my roommates, which always makes a big difference. Each bed has a full curtain, so you can darken the space well and enjoy a good level of privacy. Personally, I found the mattresses a bit uncomfortable, but that’s subjective and will vary from person to person.
I’ve read many reviews mentioning low water pressure in the showers, but I can’t confirm this at all. During my six days stay, the water pressure was fine and there was always hot water.
However, the men’s bathrooms had a strong smell, it would help if everyone knew how to properly use and flush the toilets.
All my interactions with the staff were friendly and respectful. I would especially like to highlight the reception team, who were consistently helpful and welcoming :)
There’s free beer every day from 5:00 to 5:30 pm, a pool table in the bar area, and nightly entertainment. Music is turned off at midnight, and I personally never had any noise issues in my room.
Scooter rental is also available directly at the hostel.
One downside is the WiFi, which could definitely be more reliable.
Location is great, just a few minutes walk to the beach. Plenty of restaurants very close, also King Kong supermarket.
There is a bus station just 100 meters to the right for the free bus (green) which you can use to get to the airport or other beaches. Other side of the street bus station brings you in about 10 minutes drive to the night market.
