Trisara Phuket Hotel Review | Hotels Above Par

"The closest airport is Phuket International Airport (HKT), which is about 15 minutes away, making travel to and from the resort very convenient."

We managed to get through with minimal fuss. Ordered a noodle meal advertised as a best seller. It was tasty but was meagre in its size and was definitely a soup not the meal advertised. Probably the most expensive soup I’ve ever had but it was tasty.

Phuket International Airport offers a convenient 7-Eleven store where I was able to spend my remaining Thai Baht. They had a good selection of Thai products at reasonable prices, which was really handy. I also found a nice waiting area upstairs in the departure lobby, located near the 7-Eleven. It was a comfortable spot to relax before my flight. Overall, the airport provided a smooth and convenient experience. After passing through the security gates, I noticed a wide variety of shops, including Subway, Burger King, Omega, and more. If you have an empty bottle, you can refill it at the water dispensers located next to the restrooms near Gate 11 &15

It's not very large but comfortable. There are enough immigration officers, ensuring quick service and no long queues. To reach the Grab pick-up point, head to Gate 8

Not too big, but comfortable. There are enough immigration officers so the service is fast and there is no long queue. Many food stalls inside with "airport prices"

I’ve visited Phuket International Airport twice, and overall, the airport is well-maintained and organized. However, I had some frustrating experiences, especially with the baggage handling and liquid policy. According to regulations, they allow only 100ml of liquid per item, but they threw away my shampoo bottle and even my water bottle at the security check. Meanwhile, inside the airport, they sell liquor and water in the shops—items that are allowed but contradict the restrictions for passengers. This inconsistency feels unfair, especially when the prices inside the shops are incredibly high, and not all travelers can afford them. Additionally, the airport charges an exorbitant fee for luggage—4200 THB for 20kg, which is roughly 10,000 INR. This felt like a scam, and I ended up losing a suitcase due to the cost of the luggage service. I was really frustrated and nearly depressed, but thankfully, one of the attendants helped me transfer my luggage, which was a relief. Overall, while the airport is nice and well-maintained, the baggage fees, inconsistent liquid policies, and overpriced shops left a sour impression on my experience. ✈️ 🧳

Taxi Tip! Here are the general taxi fares from the airport to major destinations. The taxi sales shops once you pass border control will have maps with prices well above these. Just say you will think about it and they will instantly drop their price. Refer to this picture (which is also in the baggage area) as a guide! If this helps, then like it so others can see!

Phuket International Airport is generally efficient and well-organized, making travel through this busy hub relatively smooth. The layout is easy to navigate, and there are clear signs in English to helping international travelers find their way. The security lines tend to move at a reasonable pace. There are plenty of dining options and shops available in both the domestic and international terminals, with a mix of local and international brands.

Everything was perfect, check in service was fast and efficient, the passport control and security check was both fast and polite. The passengers hall is little crowded but you got all sorts of stores , food, duty free, sitting areas Really like it especially when everything runs quickly and smoothly 🙌💯💐💐💐💐
