Philatelic museum located in old town phuket. It’s a beautiful old building next to the post office.
Great place to see the history of Thailand through stamps. It’s a printed posters kinda display mostly and I wish it was displayed in real stamps. That would have been wonderful experience because they have a beautiful stamps collection. Biggest stamps and most valuable stamps etc.
It’s free entry and takes only like half an hour to go through. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can also buy some stamps here. And can take photographs with props.
Great place to visit specially for stamp collectors and history enthusiasts.

Stamp collectors, you need to stop in to the Post Office. The old Post Office next door is now a philatelic museum with some nice displays and a stamp collector library and a nice lady that will pull out a book of current issues. And sell you commemorative stamps

Had some fun history of the postal service in Thailand. But the building itself is in need of repairs. Watch your footing as there are several places where the floor is giving in or tile is broken up. Unless you're really a postal service enthusiast I'm not sure it's worth your time. Also, know they close for lunch from 12-1pm.

Beautifully restored old Phuket post office building and now converted into a philatelic museum. The front area is a parking lot so it ruins the view of this historic structure so wish they can create an alternative parking space to keep the facade and area more pristine. The new post office is just right beside the building so pop by the museum if you’re doing any mailing or business with the post office in the island.

Presented various stamps in Thailand and places of attractions. No one manning the location when I visited.

As a stamp collector it was a must visit for me. Interesting exhibits spoilt by the uncomfortable conditions. A working fan would have been appreciated. The building needs urgent repairs. Many containers on the floor to catch water from leaking roof. Very sad to see in such a bad state. It was free to visit but I would have gladly left a donation if it had been possible.

It is right next to the postal office. Entrance is free. You can buy some nice collector's stamps here, there is no line. There are a bunch of exhibits here but no real stamps on display. Come here to buy local stamps instead of waiting on queue at the postal office.

I had a disappointing experience visiting this museum. The museum is quite small, and you can easily see everything inside in just 5 minutes. But the lack of proper cooling made it unbelievably hot inside. All I could think about was how to leave there faster. Also the staff didn't seem friendly and showed no interest.
