Phuong Nam Hotel

A good hotel for the price. The staff is friendly and helpful, always willing to help, and speaks English. I arrived early in the morning and couldn't check in right away because the room was still occupied. However, a few hours later, a room became available, and I was able to check in without any extra charge. So if you can't check in right away, try again later. You can also sit in the lobby with Wi-Fi access as long as you like. Late checkout wasn't available, but I was able to leave my bags while waiting for transportation.The room was fairly clean, with heating using A/C, heated beds, and thick curtains. It wasn't overly warm, but the heating helps. Overall, everything was fine, but the bathroom was so-so. The view was onto the roof, but the room also had access to a terrace with a truly stunning view of the mountains.

Stayed here during our vacation trip early October. The hotel has a great view and its location is perfect since it is near in the Sunplaza and has a lot of restaurant around the area. The price is affordable for its location, view and comfortability. The room is spacious enough and they have heater. There is also a free breakfast included in our stay and we are satisfied with the variety of foods and drinks they offered. If I will come back definitely will stay here again.

Great location! We stayed for 3 nights and loved how close it was to Sun Plaza and plenty of good restaurants. It was a convenient base for exploring Sapa. The heated bed was a nice touch, and the room was spacious. We also enjoyed the buffet, though the food was the same every day.

Highly recommended! Very close to Sun Plaza 3-5 mins walk and when you go outside, you can see a lot of nearby restaurants, salon, shopping areas. So easy to go here. Clean room and it is just enough for 2 people. Quite old though and flooring needs repair. Love the service. Receptionist is helpful and we were able to communicate with her when asked for recommended restaurant. Not to mention, the bellboy carried our luggage when checking-out. Should have left our luggage here after checking-out as it felt more secured. There is a luggage area and each luggage is grouped by a net.The other hotel we went after has no luggage area and just spread out across the lobby. FYI, There is an elevator so not a hassle to go around the hotel. Buffet breakfast is almost the same everyday. Only the pasta changes

I recently stayed at Phuong Nam Hotel and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel has an excellent location—just a short walk to Sapa Square, Sun Plaza, and the cable car station. It’s convenient for exploring the town and nearby attractions.The highlight for me was the stunning mountain view from the room and rooftop terrace. Waking up to the scenery every morning was definitely the best part of the stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious, with good amenities like heating and blackout curtains.The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with tour bookings or transportation. Breakfast was included, and while simple, it had enough variety with both Asian and some Western options. The rooftop café and bar were also nice spots to relax while enjoying the view.Overall, Phuong Nam Hotel offers great value for money. It’s not a luxury stay, but if you’re looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel with amazing views and helpful service, this is an excellent choice. I would gladly recommend it to friends visiting Sapa.

We stayed at Phuong Nam Hotel from Oct 22-26. It was our first time to visit Sapa and this hotel and its location did not disappoint us. This hotel is located just a few meters from Sapa Station/Sun Plaza(entry point to Fansipan Legend) and known local restos, street food vendors and clothing/souvenir shops. The hotel staff were kind and accommodating and always willing to assist us with any concerns/queries we may have. The room we stayed at is decent and comfortable, the airconditioning is good and if needed there is heater; hot shower is functioning well; room is cleaned everyday and toiletries and water replenished everyday. On each floor there is a common balcony area at the back end where anyone can relax and enjoy the scenic view of the surroundings. This hotel is a great find for DIY/budget travelers like us.

Everything about this hotel was perfect. The mountain view from the room were so amazing. You have to book a room with mountain view though. There is a laundry service as well. Please remember to be polite with hotel staffs.
