Phuong Nam Hotel

I recently stayed at Phuong Nam Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is conveniently located, making it easy to explore the area, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, enhancing my stay. The breakfast offered was decent, providing a good start to the day, and the views from the hotel were absolutely stunning. My room was comfortable and well-equipped, making it a pleasant place to relax. I can definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable stay. However, I had a negative experience with the motorbike rental service next door, where I was charged more than double the agreed amount. The owner made several excuses to justify the inflated charge, so I advise avoiding that rental service altogether. Overall, Phuong Nam Hotel is a great choice, but be cautious about the motorbike rental!

We stayed at Phuong Nam Hotel during our trip to Sapa and had a wonderful experience. For a budget hotel, their service is good and meets our expectations. Breakfast (VND70/head) was a bit repetitive, but still offered healthy options to start the day right. One of the highlights was waking up every morning to the breathtaking view from our balcony, the stunning mountains and lush greenery were unforgettable. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. We’ll definitely book this hotel again for our next adventure in Sapa!

The room is clean and has no foul smell. Hot water in the shower and sink with good water pressure. I would recommend their mountain view rooms. We had a quiet night's sleep even with the balcony doors open and just the fan on. We onoy used the A/C during daytime. Breakfast was decent.

Seriously, I don't get why this hotel is so popular, just find another one. I found some that are way better, same location and price, but the service and experience are much better. The staff are so rude, especially at the breakfast place, they don't want to help. My back was killing me after sleeping there, the bed was so hard. The rooms are a mess, and they don't even bother to fix anything. The only good thing is that it's close to Sun Plaza and that cool store across the street.

The hotel has a great location and a very friendly staff. The bed is comfortable and we got a great view from our room's balcony.The only downside is the fact that some amaneties were not in great shape, such as the sink in the bathroom that leaked a lot of what once you turn on the faucet. Another example was the cups and cutlery not properly clean. Could be an amazing hotel if they take better care of this details.

The view from the balcony is amazing; however, it would be much better if there were proper lighting in that area. It would also be more convenient if an iron were available in each room rather than having to go down to the reception. Additionally, towels should be cleaned more thoroughly, as some had an unpleasant smell. The lighting in the hallway needs to be brighter, and the television in the room should be fixed.

During our recent stay, we had an unforgettable experience—not because of the usual luxury features, but because of the extraordinary service we received after an unfortunate mistake. While checking out, we accidentally left behind a backpack in the hotel lobby containing our important documents, laptop, and tablet. By the time we realized our mistake, we were already halfway to Hanoi, and we feared we had lost everything. We immediately contacted the hotel via WhatsApp, unsure if anyone would even respond, as we had only found the number online. To our surprise, not only did they reply quickly, but they were also incredibly helpful. The staff member immediately took action and offered to send our backpack to us via one of the buses heading to Hanoi, sparing us the need to make the exhausting 6-hour journey back to Sapa to retrieve our things. This level of service truly went above and beyond what we expected. It was a massive relief, and we couldn't be more grateful for the team’s responsiveness, care, and generosity. They really made us feel like more than just guests. Their attention to detail and dedication to customer satisfaction is truly commendable. If you're looking for a hotel that genuinely cares about its guests, this place is a top choice. Not only is the location great, but their service will make you feel like family. We can’t thank them enough for making a stressful situation so much easier to handle. Highly recommended!

Good location! Very accessible to town proper and even had a shortcut going to the other side of town. This side was also closer to CatCat village from the Sapa Center. The room was clean and spacious. No bugs sighted. There was a water heater and bidet in the bathroom. Our room also had a balcony with 2 chairs and a table. The AC was cold too. There even was a store across the hotel if you need clothes/rain gear. There were convenience stores (for bottled water/snacks) around the parameter too.
