Phyllosophies

We went here for a late breakfast. Unfortunately they forgot our sandwiches, but were really sorry and we got a special pastry on the house, thank you again for that. Place was crowded, but it was nice sitting outside. Waiters were nice, food was good, prices are totally fine. Thank you :)

Best place for earing traditional Bougatsa. It was delicious! We ordered every version of it and every piece was great. Place is very clean and cozy. Owners is very friendly and helpful. This was our first and at Crete and first place that we visit. This was a very wonderful start! Thank you to everyone!

We are breakfast here twice whilst visiting Heraklion the pastries are really good! We shared one savoury and one sweet each morning. The coffee is really good too. There are lots of tables outside and some upstairs. It was very busy both mornings.

The coffee shop is at the center of Herakleion but still very relaxing and classy especially at the top part. very nice place in total.

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the tea room joint Phyllosophies. Good choice for a quick break with coffee and pastries with terrace on the square looking at the fountain.

It is very nice bakery. I really like their pastry. It is a traditional recipe and comes from Izmir, Turkey. It has a good view with morosini fountain. You can also try Greek coffee with mastik 💙🦋

Literally the most beautiful cafe in Crete and the best fresh espresso coffee. The staff are very friendly and always smiling. Don't forget to have Loukamades and enjoy sitting at the table and the lion fountain.

I asked for vegan options and they were super nice, explaining that they have several options. We went for some kind of baklava and bougatza filled with almond cream. Both were absolutely divine. We'll def come back. It's crowded, loud, but also such a nice vibe and amazing looking sweets. Exactly as it should be :)
