With a lovely atmosphere this is a fantastic place to stop by to have a bite in the heart of the town. We stopped for just desserts and definitely happy to do so. The desserts are good, delicious and very tasteful. The service is excellent with welcoming and friendly staff. If you didn't want to have street hustle bustle going by, you may consider sitting upstairs. We were on with the street noice and all which went well with our touristic walks.

The food was ok but because the place is in a very turistiki street the service and atmosphere is not great. We ve ordered: pie with honey (without cinammon), a pepsi and one water and they did not bring the water and the pie had the cinammon even tho the waitress asked us before how we want it. If you still go there then choose the balcony for a better view. Toilets are so and so. Thank you

Found this little cafe right in lions square. You get a front row view of the Morosini Fountain while you enjoy your fresh phyllo pastry. We ordered a round of freddo and Bougatsa with Mytzithra, local honey & walnuts. Service was quick and food delicious.

They gave me the bill until the food, that is particularly. They have gluten free bread, but the portion was small and in my opinion is not well mixed with potatoes chips. The yogurt was fine but I was expecting one more type of fruit

Both the spinach pie and the mushroom pie were good but a bit too oily for my preference. The coffee was really good especially the mikrasiatikos and the bougatsa with cheese was tasty. The yogurt with fresh fruit portion was very worth it.

They have delicious spanakopita, hortakopita and all other pastries. We tried so many and everything was absolutely delicious. The staff were very polite. Definitely recommend it!

I came here for the famous bougatsa and was not disappointed. The pastry was flaky but not chewy; the cream filling was delicious and not too sweet. A delightful snack in a prime location. I would recommend trying to come when it's not too busy (this seems to be in the afternoon when all the locals have gone for lunch!). I tried twice to get a table: the first time it was full and the queue was chaos, even for the takeaway. There seemed to be no logical order or system to being served - hence why I have docked 1 point. The second time was much more relaxed and the service was far better.

On New Year’s Eve, it is a tradition in Crete to eat bougatsa. This place is well–known for it, however I was very disappointed with my visit on New Year’s Eve (2025–2026). The waiter informed me that, due to the day, the traditional bougatsa was priced at €5.00 instead of the usual €3.20. The portion and quality were exactly the same as on any other day — no larger size, no added ingredients, and no extra service to justify the price increase. I find raising the price by €1.80 without offering anything additional both unfair and unethical. I do not recommend this place.
