They gave me the bill until the food, that is particularly. They have gluten free bread, but the portion was small and in my opinion is not well mixed with potatoes chips. The yogurt was fine but I was expecting one more type of fruit

I loved how quintessentially Balkan this place was. It’s right at the heart of the city, next to the fountain, the tables are densely situated and are facing the street so you’re able to people watch all you want. I loved it! I think it has several levels, but we were able to find a table outside every morning. Service is really fast and I would recommend it for breakfast or afternoon coffee for sure!

A lovely place to sit and enjoy some bougatsa. All the varieties sounded delicious, and we tried four different kinds—each one was absolutely tasty. The atmosphere is great as well. We chose to sit upstairs in the air-conditioned room, but there’s also the option to sit outside or on the terrace, depending on your preference.

Really good vibe and interesting Greek food. Can watch the hustle and bustle going on in the main square while enjoying a coffee. The bougasta with cream and cinnamon/sugar was great

If you are craving for fresh authentic Greek food and warm welcoming service then you cannot miss this place. The staff are so warm and welcoming that you will feel like home. We tried various pastries with different types of authentic cheese and crème. The coffee was also amazing? I have to return back every day to Philosophies!!

We had to wait in line to obtain a seat, that is often a good sign, especially when the place is filled with locals... And Indeed, they serve very delicious bougatsa, the coffee is good, the service is good and nice views of the Morizini Fountain! especially when you are sitting on the balcony.... The only downside we experience on Crete are restrooms. They are not so clean as we are used to and for any reason the doors can't be locked, also in this establishment this is the case.... Therefore a four star rating...

Wonderful place in the heart of the old town to get coffee drinks and lots of varieties of bougatsa! Absolutely delicious, especially the house invention, with soft myzithra cheese. Speedy service and super nice, even when busy.

Tasty and simple bougatsa, fresh ingredients. Nothing special with cheese option, creamy is the original one IMO. We tried cheese with honey and cinnamon version additionally, not a signature dish for sure. Quite reasonable prices though.
