On New Year’s Eve, it is a tradition in Crete to eat bougatsa. This place is well–known for it, however I was very disappointed with my visit on New Year’s Eve (2025–2026). The waiter informed me that, due to the day, the traditional bougatsa was priced at €5.00 instead of the usual €3.20. The portion and quality were exactly the same as on any other day — no larger size, no added ingredients, and no extra service to justify the price increase.
I find raising the price by €1.80 without offering anything additional both unfair and unethical.
I do not recommend this place.
