Piadina Bio Assisi

Deliciouso Piadini, large serving i had enough to finish off for breakfast. Staff were friendly and good value.

I was excited to see a vegetarian section of the menu — St. Francis was vegetarian, so the whole town should be — and I enjoyed mine. Also had apricot juice. And the proprietor was really nice too.

I love this place! I wish we had found this earlier in our stay, we would have eaten here every day. Food and groceries fresh from the farm, sulfite free wine, ancient grain options for the flat bread sandwiches, beautiful handmade wood interior. Get the jack sandwich, it is amazing. I had no idea that lemons could be so awesome in a sandwich. The olive oil is so tasty, even though I have a very small luggage, I got some to bring home to my father.

Excellent sandwiches with friendly service. Everything is sliced fresh for your order and placed into a warm, crispy flat bread wrap. Delicious!

Awesome piadina! Popped in, ordered a piadina con cotto e mozzarella and a glass of red wine, and enjoyed both by the window looking out into the street. Order and pay before you sit. Highly recommend for a simple, no frills, tasty lunch!

If you want the best sandwich in town of Assisi, that is organic fresh and incredibly delicious, then Piadina is for you. I created a new sandwich that’s not on the menu, so all you have to do is ask for Sara’s special and they’ll know what to do. The ingredients that I always ask for are pecorino cheese, Pesto, tomatoes and arugula. Today I added red bell peppers and radicchio and as always it was incredible. I highly highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed if you order Sara’s sandwich. Great value for money!
