The best pizze of Siracusa. We come here everytime we land to Sicily. Tbe menu changes based on the season. And they are so good !!

We were recommended this pizzeria by frequent visitors and the pizzas didn’t disappoint. It was full of locals which was a good sign. All the pizzas are quite innovative with zucchini flowers plus a cream zucchini sauce and a tomato Mediterranean one with tuna and no cheese. Both were very tasty. We had very good service and we were no overly rush even though it was Saturday night. A booking was definitely needed.

Had the pizza Norma. It was the best pizza I have ever had. Super tasty and well balanced. (€38 for 2 drinks 2 pizza).

We book a table so no waiting time. Considering that’s a top 100 Italy I was having high expectations. The pizza (Margherita) was really good but I have tried much better ones. The ones with prosciutto were much tasty, so if you are not vegetarians that might be a better choise. The highlight and must try is the tiramisu which is outstanding.

My husband and I went there and we ordered one pizza each plus a salad. I ordered a wholemeal pan pizza after inquiring what it was and the waiter explained it to me. Then he forgot about my order. Only my husband’s pizza and salad came, we started eating whatever is served. Husband gave 1/3 of his pizza to me. Both dishes were finished, my pizza still didn’t come. I went to ask where is it, the staff went to check, IT WAS’NT EVEN MADE! I followed and said if it’s not made I don’t want it, just bring the bill please. The bill came. My husband was not pleased with this and went to reason with them because they didn’t seem bothered or apologetic. The staff made it as if it’s my mistake because he could have made me the pizza within a few minutes but instead, I decided to ask for the bill. I refused to pay the service fee €5.6. They refused because apparently the fee is for napkin, cutlery etc (according to them). But it’s service fee - what would I pay for it when the service is not there?! In the end, they round down the bill from €32 to €30. We left really unsatisfied. They did not have a lot of mutual respect

Best pizza awards on the wall, slow food convivium member, this pizzeria has quietly been stamping its mark in Siracusa for several years. We first visited almost 10 years ago, and last night can see its still a winner. Slow risen sourdoughs, thick thin or covered pizzas with the traditional or more specialty toppings. A selection of fritti including street food panelle, zucchini flower in a hint of anchovy batter were on the mark. Nice birra from Modica on a hot summer evening. Wine was not en point-the Grillo from Noto was their only glass option and didn’t go so well with the food.

Piano B is a must-visit for tourists seeking an unforgettable pizza experience. Make sure to book ahead for a seat. The Mediterranean pizza is a delightful choice with rich flavors. The staff is welcoming, enhancing the overall experience. While the Tiramisu tends to be on the sweeter side, it authentically reflects Southern Italian style. For a taste of excellent pizza and warm hospitality, Piano B is a worthwhile stop on your travel itinerary.

It took maybe 10minutes for the waiter to come to us even though there was only one other table with customers but the rest of the evening was very pleasant. My Mediterranean pizza was very delicious, though the recommended pizza Parmesan by the waiter was just ok. Getting back to this review after trying other pizza place. Go to this one if you are nearby 🏖

Yelp
If you're staying in Ortigia, you owe it to yourself to walk 200 metres across the bridge at via Malta to Piano B. We were attracted to this place because it serves meat, cheese and salad greens of particular provenance (for the parents), as well as pizza (for the kid). The neighborhood appears to be going through a slight upward transition, as evidenced by Piano B and a couple other upscale restaurants. The decor is sort of friendly-warehouse-industrial, and the staff just this side of too-hip-to-care. We sat by the door on the ground floor (Piano A, perhaps?), which proved not only to be a great spot to people-watch, but was right next to their stash of microbrewed Italian beer, something that had been sorely lacking from our Sicilian visit thus far. Okay, I drank too much. There, I said it, and there were plenty of witnesses to back my story up. But after days of pleasant (but sleep-inducing) red wine and the occasional bottle of Moretti, I was ready for some interesting beer, and boy, did I get it! Baladin, Maltus Faber, 32 Via dei Birrai, Paul Bricus. . . things got a little fuzzy past that point. But here's the other thing -- we actually came here for the food, and the food was well worth traveling for. The cured meat selection Number 2 was out of this world, and the pizzas were flavorful, yet light as air. Siracusa has good restaurants that have made a coherent cuisine out of various influences over the past couple of millenia. Piano B's modern approach to the whole thing is refreshing and points to a food culture that is not yet finished evolving.
