Pianoterra

Our time at pianoterra was okay, but a Little underwhelming. I love the Atmosphere and always wanted to stop by when walking by. Tonight i did - and the Place is cool, with the Open kitchen and a stylish salle. The food is quite good, but I would have wanted a Bit more flavor, power, Pepper, garlic, wine in the Sauce, whatever - was a Bit bland. Also we got the wrong drink, and when we Said that, our Server fixed two but not the third of our drinks. For a Bit over 50€ per person, you can get better Dinner in Paris.

Really excellent and genuine Italian fare from a chef who is half Sicilian and Half from Milan (so the waiter told me). The clientele were speaking a lot of Italian so it’s a good sign they recognize the real deal. The Rasscass fish ragu was truly tasty and the veal rigatoni dish was excellent as were the meatballs. Service was a little slow but they were super busy and the decor is cozy but a bit random, as if you were visiting a newly moved in friend with a big living room kitchen combination that had not yet decided where to hang their artwork. Nice terrace on the stretside.

The penne alla Norma and the bruschetta with olives, cucumbers, onion and tomato was a delicious comfort meal after a long flight. And the service so great - the host was kind and very helpful. And the decor here is beautifully minimal with interesting fixtures and colors of grays and blues mixed with lace window dressings and soft lighting. A very sweet place.

A place too good! 10/10 for the food, such authentic flavor! I love the concept, food, vibe of the place, and of course friendly staff. Highly recommended!

It was delicious ! We just loved it !

Pleasant staff, very nice ambiance and environment. Very small menu with limited variety. My dinner companion was served a spinach gnochetti dish which was bright green, bitter and inedible. It’s as if the chef forgot ingredients. The other dishes were simple and not especially very flavorful. I hate leaving bad reviews and am doing so that the restaurant can consider improvements. We live nearby and had been excited to dine here.
